No time in a cage sounded good to me, and I made contact through Yelp's site. We arrived on time and learned that the groomer had contacted our vet to get proof of a Rabies vaccination. This felt a little intrusive because I told the groomer that I would happily provide proof. No big deal, so I let it go. We arrived with a photo of my dog's breed (Cavapoo) written requests/instructions on what I hoped for, and notations on the photo. "Not too short please; left about 3/4 of an inch. Please keep her muzzle full and round. DO NOT CUT OFF HER EYELASHES." "That's too short! You'll be back in 4 weeks, and that is not a photo of a your dog's breed." The groomer said. It absolutely was a photo of my dog's breed, but it wasn't worth pressing. We were told that we would receive a call "half an hour before she is ready." We shopped and killed time. Two hours passed and concerned, we called to see if we could retrieve our pup. "She is not ready yet. She is giving me a hard time trimming around her face. We'll call you when ready; about a half hour." The thought of my little girl being on the table over two hours was concerning. We tried to do some more shopping but were too worried. We called after more time had passed. "Another 25 minutes! We'll call you." We drove over and knocked on the locked door. It was partially opened and we were told "Another 25 minutes!" We waited another 20 minutes. "That's enough!" my husband said. "Let's get our dog." We knocked on the locked door and when it was again only cracked open, we made our way in. We paid with a tip. The GROOMER DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB ON OUR DOG'S BODY, but HER LITTLE FACE WAS RUINED! Her eyelashes were gone! Her muzzle was shaved from her eyes to the tip of her nose and was shaved so close that she had razor burn. Her chin was trimmed flat. Her head was shaved so it looked like she had a Neanderthal bulge. It will grow out, but I am heartsick that I put my puppy through hours of grooming, and angry that her beautiful little face was so horribly altered. THIS GROOMER TALKS AT YOU AND DOES NOT LISTEN OR TAKE INTO ACCOUNT YOUR WISHES! It's been two weeks since this occurred. I wanted to wait 'till I wouldn't be writing this in anger, but BEWARE!

Not only did she do a great job grooming this somewhat unruly and aggressive dog, but she discovered a paw injury the shelter had overlooked and also made me aware of possible dental issues based on the dog's behavior. The dog also had dry skin and hair loss issues so she gave me some really helpful tips/info on that too. I'm so appreciative of her help and will definitely be taking my "new" old dog back to her.

To take advantage of their prices, owners should be sure to sign up in advance and follow the instructions carefully. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. On the day of the clinic, I showed up on time and was greeted by a regular employee. I followed his instructions and brought the pet to the professional and, after a few shots, received my paperwork. This is a well run event and I am very glad they are hosting this, even in the summer heat. My sincere thanks to the owner and staff who make this possible. Everything is so expensive nowadays and I am very grateful for this service. Congratulations to the owner, Dr. and Mrs. Antipa for their well deserved retirement. She is Boxer and a few other breeds, and he looked in my dogs mouth and claimed "she can't have any Boxer in her because she doesnt have an underbite!" .... then he demanded I change her paperwork. I legitimately have DNA results that back it up, but he continued to argue with me. It was actually embarrassing (because there were a lot of other customers around) so I finally just did it and now her rabies paperwork doesnt match any of her other paperwork. Its not that big of a deal, but it was a really strange experience. I also saw him yelling at some other people for various things. Im not sure we will return.

She shaved them down and botched them - then claimed they were matted but they had just been groomed 6 weeks prior elsewhere with ZERO issues (I only took them to her because my regular groomer was booked out too far in advance for me to keep up their maintenance) - because I DO NOT allow them to get matted. She also charged $135 per groom = $270 for a botched shave down. The next day my girl couldn't sit comfortably, she has a small tail. I ended up having to pay $242 to take her to the vet to find out what was going on. When I sent her photos and showed her the bill proving it was due to her negligence she stopped replying. If you deeply care about your dogs DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. She does not care about your pet and is trying to fit in as many dogs as possible to make money. If she argues I have receipts, and you can also see her cadence in previous replies.

I love that she was super friendly and it was just one on one with her and our dog, which we love because it helps him. They showed up on time.
