I was more than happy to take that help. Lees' is HUGH! And I mean that in a very good way. Off the bat I noticed how clean and really organized all the inventory is. And so well lit as you can see from my photos. All I needed was bird seed. I buy it in big bags because my birds are like turkeys. They gobble it up. Neighbors had told me about Lees' and said they carried quality animal products and the prices were reasonable. After perusing lottsa bird feed choices... I chose one I wanted to try. A mixture of sunflower chips and nyjer. I have not seen it sold anywhere else... btw. Finches LOVE this stuff. Early Christmas for my birdies!:). I so wanted to take some time and wander around this incredible store. It was like Disneyland for animals. But I had another commitment. Darn! I understand this is a long-time family owned business. On top of dehydration and being over 100° and stressed, our goat was going downhill quickly. I called to see if superior livestock had any electrolyte replacement. They did have it and as I arrived to pick it up for whatever reason the product would not scan the price. Without hesitation. Judy just told me to take the replacement and come back later to pay for it. By this quick response by Judy and her trust in me, I do not think our goat would have made it. One…read morefor a Corgi and one for my Frenchie- based on a recommendation from a very friendly staff member named Jennifer. She suggested the small size even though I mentioned I had a Frenchie. Unfortunately the collar did not fit my Frenchie. When I tried to return it the next day, I was told I could not because it had been opened.i understand some return policies are strict, but I felt that since the recommendation came from their staff, they could of been more flexible or at least made sure I purchased the right size. I was offered a $5.00 discount instead , but when I checked the shelf the price I paid yesterday, it was the same as today. 69.95 and when asked I was told oh it should of been $5.00 Higher. It was disappointing because I spent over $200. On other products there, and felt like I was not treated fairly as a customer. I do appreciate the friendliness of the staff but I think the store policies could be more accommodating, especially when the mistake is made on their recommendation.
