Pizza was okay - going for a NY style but Pittsburgh level of cheese. I stopped in to grab a couple of slices for a quick dinner since I was on the road all day with my daughter. The pizza looked like it had been sitting there for a while but I just wanted an easy dinner so I asked for them to be warmed up. We got a slice of cheese and their bbq pizza. Lots of reviews here about customer service .. they seemed confused when I walked in and asked what I wanted. Maybe most folks who walk in are there for pick up orders? Not sure. But I was pretty astounded that 2 slices of pizza was $10. $5 a slice. They don't have the by the slice pricing listed anywhere on their menus but this felt pretty high. Their food is delicious and I will be back, but two stars because they can't just make food and give it to you. There is always drama. Your order may take 2+ hours, it may never come, they will fight any refund. If you place a pickup order, they start to make it when you arrive. And the food they give you is often wrong. Order was placed a bit before 5pm and was estimated to be arrive by 5:53. At 6:23 it had not arrived so I called. Long story short, there's another town nearby with a same or similar address to where I was at and they delivered my order to that address instead of me. So they had to remake my order and send the driver out again. I was told it was going to take about an hour, but it ended up being less than that. As far as the food, it was very good and there was a lot of it. I actually wasn't able to finish all of it and will make lunch tomorrow out of what I didn't finish. Delivery was quick, but overpriced-- nearly 15 dollars and they're less than five minutes away. Meal was delivered to door at hotel room (nice) but they did not knock, text or provide a clue that it was delivered. There were no napkins or utensils--had to make trip to front desk, negating the pleasure of door service. Calzone was too doughy and lacked meaningful taste. Avoid. First, let me say that I can not review the food, as I never got my order. I would suggest not ordering online as that was a real issue. I ordered several hours in advance as we would be in the area taking our granddaughter to swimming lessons. It was my granddaughter's birthday and she wanted pizza. We placed an order for a Jumbo Sicilian with extra cheese and paid the tip as well online. 10 minutes prior to us picking up the pizza, we got a call that they did not have our pizza made. We showed up to the store and they gave me a refund of the food but not for the 15% tip. I pointed that out and they continued to argue with me. I got my 5 year old granddaughter a piece of pizza and had to listen to how they were under staffed and that I didn't place my order in time because someone had placed a large order at 2:00. My email receipt says differently, but they continued to argue. My husband, who is 100% disabled veteran, had to park far away because the delivery person parked in the handicap spot. We pointed that out and they continued to argue and say very unprofessional words. My granddaughter ate and the rest of the family got to place an order at another pizza place. So much for trying a new place, as we are fairly new to the area. We wanted thick cut pizza, but instead we got a rash of excuses and sworn at by the owner and his son. Ordered a delivery direct last night through their website and it never came. After waiting for 90 minutes I called the store and they said none of the online orders went through. I asked them to refund and he didn't know how to call back and talk to the manager in the morning. So no pizza, no refund, wasted 90 minutes waiting and I have to call back. Owner said the power went out and the printer never got hooked back up because of the power. When I called the worker already knew from someone else that didn't get their food the orders weren't working....Hmm maybe then they should have done something about it instead of oh sorry, no food for you and we're keeping your money until tomorrow. Great service! When I walked in I was welcomed with a gentle greeting and attentiveness. I just ordered two slices due to having to be at the airport in 10 minutes, otherwise I would have ordered an entire pizza. The dough was amazing, we ate everything including the crust which is a rare occasion for us. The pizza wasn't spectacular but it's definitely something better than you would find at a mom and pop store in Los Angeles! All in all I'm happy! read more

My phone number usually pulls up my address but immediately the guy rambled off the wrong phone number to me and I said no and gave him my correct number and my address. I was patient while he put it in the system as new customer which was odd. I've ordered from them for 3 years. Ok so I fall asleep 2 hours later 7:15 I wake up starving and thought where is my food. I called them and they said oh glad you called we have your food right here. I said why, he said you gave us the wrong address. I said repeat the address and it was in fact my address. I said sir that's My address he said no there is no apt by that number. I said I've lived here 3 years. I send his cell phone a picture. He said well I'll send you the food now. I said no I don't want cold food and why would I think I would get it now if you couldn't find my apt before. He said well you will have to give me the correct address. Now I'm starving and I have him my address again he said that's the same address and I said yeah because I live here .Sir you have delivered here for 3 years. My husband gets on the phone now and says can you remake our food and as he was about to offer to pick it up. I'm in the back ground now saying no make them deliver it and remake it and he's on speaker so he said to my husband (" I feel bad for you because I have a mother like that" ) ?????? Ordered a medium cheese and pepperoni pizza and an Italian sub. Wait time was a little longer than anticipated or expected at 1 am but was just happy to be able to get something at that hour. Place was very busy for 1am as well. They forgot to put pepperoni on my pizza which I loved with because again was hungry. Pizza was very good, sauce was a little bland for my taste but crust and cheese blend made up for that, above average. Sub was very good. Ordered pizza and waited an hour and a half for pizza that had barely any toppings on it. Forgot our breadsticks and the hot pepper cheese balls were old and cold. The one pizza had the cheese stuck to the top of the box and the box wasn't even closed all of the way. Paid $43 for less than acceptable service and food. Very disappointed as our hotel even recommended this pizza place. Others in the hotel ordered pizza from them as well and ended up canceling and getting Dominos due to the outrageous wait time. When I called and politely asked how much longer it would take, I was interrupted and corrected by the person on the phone (May have been the owner) telling me that it wasn't an hour and half but instead an hour and 10 minutes. Love the pizza but service sucks. Ordered through their website on Mother's Day and went to pick up. Person behind counter seemed shocked that someone was actually coming in. Seemed confused when I said I was picking up an order. Tapped away on the tablet and said he showed nothing. I showed him my phone confirmation. He tapped away some more and said give me 10 minutes?? Never said sorry or " I missed your order" or offered to throw in breadsticks for the extra wait. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We ordered our food and waited for almost two hours. When our food finally got here everything was cold or hard and we were handed an empty pizza box. When we told the delivery driver he asked if we had eaten it. The delivery driver finally agreed to go back and get our pizza. We asked if we could have a fresh one since we didn't want to eat cold pizza and we were told no. Then when they called to let us know that our original pizza was on our way we asked to speak to the manager about everything and when we expressed our displeasure we were told that we would not be getting our pizza or a refund. Terrific food, but delivery drivers will steal from you by adding extra tips. I have been ordering from AJ Bambino for years. And I always give a 20% tip or better to delivery drivers. Yet a driver had the audacity to add an extra 3 dollar tip. This is some of the better Italian style food Moon Pa has to offer. Pizzas are great! My favorite is the traditional pizza and what ever topping my husband and I feel like that day (most of the time it's pepperoni and sausage). The salads here are served pittsburgh style (with French fries), steak and chicken salad is absolutely yummy with their ranch dressing. The pastas, I have only tried the frutti de mare and the chicken Alfredo and both were good, and as for dessert I tried their tiramisu which they give you a good portion of it. I only gave 4 stars because there have been a few times when I have waited longer for my order than what they quote of 40-45 minutes and that's pick up not delivery, however the people that work there are nice and I think the gentleman who I always see there is the owner (not sure) but whoever he is, he is always nice and pleasant. Didn't know what to expect as it was one of the first times going here. I must say AJ bambino's knocked it right out of the park!! Great texture, top-notch cheese, and sizzling toppings cooked to perfection! Wonderful customer service and all around a good experience.
