We needed a hole drilled into our granite countertop and was quoted $150. The guy show up 2 hours after the scheduled time with no notification of the delay and then they have the audacity to charge $175 for 10 minutes of work. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. read more

Save yourself money and aggravation. The countertops were measured wrong, didn't meet the wall, the sink and faucets hole weren't measured correctly (the cold handle & the spray handle touch) and the seam was awful (big space, wrong location and wrong color filler). The owner doesn't seem to know what customer service is and is defensive and aggressive in his communication. I chose a particular stone because of it's characteristics of easy to maintain and not etching. Immediately etched all over the counter and I'm SUPER careful & fastidious about caring for it. Therefore, I'm not even sure I was sold what I asked for. I had to have someone come in to correct as many mistakes as they could. DISASTER. I've never written a review before, but I had to this time. Maybe I'll save someone else the grief. Look at the last reviews: 5 out of 10 were negative and that's not even counting mine. read more

Terrible place. Don't shop here. If I could give AJ Marble no stars, I would. I visited this poor excuse for a company three times to find a 2x2 granite remnant for a new cabinet that I installed in my kitchen. I wanted the remnant to match the existing granite on the other side of my kitchen. The owner was away, so an employee helped me out. I found the perfect piece of granite, paid $250 in cash, and said I would be back in a month with a template once the cabinet was installed. I returned in a month as promised, and now the owner was back. When he saw the piece I had chosen, he said it was a $600 dollar piece and that he would lose money if he cut a $250 piece from it. He tried showing me smaller pieces that were horrible matches to my existing granite. Then he had the nerve to say that if I wanted to pay $500, he'd cut it. I told him to give me my $250 back and I left. I would not return to AJ Marble if it were the last marble place on earth. read more

Had a very bad experience with AJ after he installed a granite countertop to our outdoor bar. I was assured it would remain stable even though it did not look very secure. I even asked him to come back to fill in holes underneath the bar and the granite, as it looked unfinished. He agreed but never came back to finish the job. One month later, the countertop flipped over onto our guest while eating dinner. When AJ came back to fix it, he very rudely said it was not his fault, we must have done something to it! Unbelievable!!! Needless to say, we did not trust him to re-secure the countertop to our bar and paid someone else to fix his mistake. 0 stars read more

I had a very good experience with AJ. As noted in another review he's a little tough to get a hold of. He does his own estimates and installs, so he is out of the office often. His wife was in the office taking messages for him. As far as my purchase, he showed up on time for the estimate, gave me a great price and installed on time. I would use him again. He was actually a pleasure to deal with as we spoke for a while. read more

Called there go get ballpark on a vanity top as I was deciding whether or not to replace the whole vanity or just the top. The owner said he doesn't give that info on the phone. Ok, I drove over there , the owner wasn't there but a very nice man who works in the shop showed me granite but said I needed the owner to get prices. I left a detailed drawing and measurement of the top with my phone number. He's never called back! How is a business run like this?? read more

We went there last Saturday, the first of the 4 places we were going to visit. The owners were very low key, suggesting a few choices to replace our bathroom vanity top. I like how they didn't pressure us, let us look around. Since my husband and I like to make quick decisions, we picked our choice, got a price and they said they would call to come measure. They were prompt in coming, prompt in getting the top cut, and prompt in installing yesterday. Would definitely recommend them. Pleasd save your money and energy. Don't use this guy. He was going to install our vanity top on Wednesday. We call him for three days, no answer. When he does answer, he is rude and tells us he can only start to work on them on Monday. His reason is that he has lots of work to do. Why get more business, when you can't handle it.
