He went on to check every room in my house for openings and found none. The outside vent was secured with a metal mesh to catch any unwanted animals from entering. He also went upstairs to my attic and found nothing there. The source of the occasional mice visitor is still a mystery but I feel so much better and recommend GARDEN STATE CHIMNEY highly. The jobs Accomplished Chimney completed was efficient and in high standards. I am now in need of a roof cert and/or inspection for renewal of my HOI policy. Being I was quite satisfied with Accomplished I decided to call them. First I spoke to Gianna who gave me a quote of $160 and told me the owner Izzy would be calling me. He called me right after I got off the phone with Gianna. He, in turn, quoted me $500 as he'd have to dispatch his entire crew come to my home. I responded with "why an entire crew"? He became irate when questioned stating they'd have to use a ladder to get up on my roof. At that point he accused me of wanting a free inspection. Logically thinking why would a team of guys be needed to see the numbers of layers my (new) roof has and if any shingles were lifting? I by no means expected a free ride and would gladly have paid a common and customary fee. When I mentioned about writing a review, as I didn't appreciate being yelled at or being told I'm being nasty, or want a free handout he threatened me with his attorney. I may have to call Judge Judy on this one! ;-) Pursuant to the FCRA, I quote: "Putting an honest negative review about a company's owner or employee online is not illegal in the United States. We ended up having an emergency and needed to redo the chimney. They quoted us a fair price , we're on time and got everything done and cleaned up in a timely professional way . They even dealt with me yelling if there were any birds or animals in there to let me know so I could trap them and get them to a Santuary (thankfully there were none) I saw some people saying they were "condescending" to women, all I can say about that is that some women need to complain about anything. My mom is 73 years old and was home at the time and Matt took her dog for a walk for her out of the kindness of his heart! Who does that these days? They even gave us a coupon for our next gutter cleaning free. I hope we have no more issues but if we did I would certainly give them our business
