We stopped in quickly to try Karma Tacos located within the smoke shop and the gentleman working on the smoke shop side was so pleasant and immediately greeted us with a smile when we entered. We did end up purchasing some sodas from the fountain and he was super happy to quickly ring us up. He was also very prompt to wipe down the counter after we ate at it to keep sanitary and wished us a good evening. I was really impressed by the friendliness and how welcoming it felt. I looked at the big menu display screens and then placed my order at the counter with the nice woman who works there. I had the brisket plate with chili and corn bread as my sides. The brisket (some fatty, some lean so I could try their idea of both) was cooked well and had a good smoke ring. The smoke flavor wasn't as strong as I prefer, but different people have different ideas and less is more when you're cooking for a crowd, so I respect that. Their barbecue sauce (the red one -- I don't put yellow sauce on brisket -- had a good flavor that complemented the brisket's flavor rather than overpowering it.) As for the sides, the chili was OK, but not something that I would order again. I like chili and was curious. Curiosity satisfied. The corn bread was moist and that middle-of-the-road between sweet and savory that is common in much of Texas (at least the parts I have visited). I like mine a little more sweet, but, like the brisket, I am a believer in getting the texture right first. Be aware if you are a fan of the sweet corn breads.

Helps avoid the mess, but still get the delicious flavor of a cone. The salted caramel ice cream was my favorite, and shocked at the low price of $2.99 for a scoop of ice cream! We both said we will be back as it is an affordable treat close to home. Check out this place if you are in the area as it would be rude not to treat yourself!

First, before I review I would like to say that they smoke in the place. If you are asthmatic or don't like smokw, go else where. I have mild asthma and try to limit my time inside. But that aside, they have great prices, friendly staff and you can bring your gun in with you! Cheapest place in town by far. If you want beer, MIller Lite starts at 4.49 a 6 pack. They have hard liquor too and a great selection, I've just never purchased it before. I am unsure about they law if they are allowed to smoke inside or not, but just a heads up, it is kinda smokey sometimes in there. If you don't mind the smoke then have at it. read more
