Ajisen is one of those restaurants that you would want to visit every week. Well we do. Every time we go to Robinsons Place Ermita and do not know where to eat, this restaurant is the default.
One of the quality Japanese restaurants that is affordable. The serving is value for money and taste is great.
They boast about their soup which is made fresh daily. It is also very flavorful and not oily. Ajisen Ramen is the best choice, but I usually go for Kon Ramen since I love corn. Lately, our family favorite is Chanko Nabe which is the hotpot. It is light and you can choose between chicken or pork. It is accompanied by a hearty soup, vegetables and sotanghon.
Their array of rolls are worth a try as well as each gives a different texture and flavor. My staples are spicy salmon sashimi (this is not in the menu, but you can change the tuna in the menu to salmon), tempura roll of ham and vegetables. Lately, I'm venturing into their curry choices. read more
