Eat consciously. Live consciously . These are the words of The Wholesome Table, but yet they ran out of 2 most important super foods . Spinach and kale . Like seriously ?? Not a good way to start off my dining experience. And to top it off they said they ran out of toast? What kind of breakfast establishment runs out of food at 8:30 am ? =\ Anyways I had High hopes for this place & I was hoping there food would make up for the lack of food they had available. What I ordered... Scrambled eggs with feta cheese , with your choice of any meat ( I chose bacon ), + side salad & toast . The scrambled eggs had no flavor and the feta cheese they used wasn't the best. I was also disappointed b/c they ran out of toast and they said they'd give me extra salad ( which was super skimpy ) . The bacon was okay but overall the portion and quality was mediocre. 1/5 Fruit Platter : Consisted of mango , orange & apple . The orange was super sour and the selection of fruits could've been better . Like hello ? Isn't this the Philippines where they have an abundance of exotic fruits? 1/5 Iced mocha: The first thing I told my waiter was that I wanted a drink that was sweet . I asked him if the machiatto was sweet and he said no . He told me the iced mocha was sweet so I opted to order that. The drink itself was super bland and iced down. DISAPPOINTMENT AGAIN. Overall it's a shame this place has the looks and ambiance but the quality of the food is horrible. Would not come back again.

The wholesome table serves Filipino and western preparations made from organic ingredients. They have amazing selection of healthy juices and kombucha. Few of their best sellers are also available in to-go bottles (3 day shelf life). Food tasted like what you would expect from Whole Foods food-bar. Yakatori chicken bowl, Cali toast and wholesome tea were great. Also detox and energy juice blends taste good

Be Amazing and Be Pure juice. Love the beets!

GRASS-FED MEATBALLS. "Sorry, this is not available". KALE,CAESAR SALAD. "Sorry this is not available". Strike 2! Well then, what can we eat? So we opted for the WHOLESOME SALAD AND DETOX JUICES,Be Amazing and Be Pure. Both of these contain beets,so red! The soups were satisfying! We came here for some light lunch choices and it's good we were not tempted to try their pizza or pasta. It was a clean modern place with a relaxed environment and there was a communal table but with a fake tree. Well, the staff treated us really well. Next door was the Wildflour Cafe. I love this corner of Makati City.

Stopped by for a detox drink and a salad. The detox drinks are already bottled but are tasty. Salad was fresh. Interior is full of plants. Spacious and comfortable with good service.

The traffic in Makati is awful at the end of the day & yes, we wanted dinner & yes again, we didn't want to really travel far. Well, The Wholesome Table is connected to our hotel - - so The Wholesome Table it is. We had ordered takeout earlier in the week and it was good. We decided on Meatloaf, Chicken Adobo, and Calamari. The meatloaf came with mashed potatoes - - outstanding. The chicken adobo is very good, although I never had an egg with my adobo before or had it with black rice. The calamari was good, but just a bit salty. Both of the desserts, chocolate cake & banana walnut cake were good . . . BUT the Sticky Rice "Bibingka" that we had a few nights earlier is outstanding - - OUTSTANDING!!! FYI - - there is no soda or soft drinks on the menu. Justin our server is super nice. Enjoy.

Today I tried their waffles and called their attention about it because it tasted too salty. Needless to say I didnt finish it. I also tried their pancakes last week and didnt like it - there was something tangy about its taste. I guess I'd stick to the PB&J Teddy Toast and the Overnight Oats next time.

Love love love the cordillera salad. I have been craving for it for weeks. 2 weeks ago I went to their BGC branch but it was closed, they had issues with the exhaust. So come Sunday me and my daughter went to the branch in Salcedo Village. To my surprise they have no Cordillera salad. Waitress said they ran out of dressing. We got there 12:45pm. Hmmmm it's the middle of the day. Maybe I would have understood if we came around dinner time. Oh well... so we ended up ordering chicken salad- it tastes good however, it needs more chicken. There's like a spoon of chicken in there chopped and mixed with other ingredients, not sure what but it is white. Bottom line it needed more chicken. My daughter kept on looking for them haha! They have quality desserts and really delish! Our most fave is the carrot cake! I would try something else next time. We love it here still... and would still come back!

One of the best restaurants on Salcedo Village. Don't be alarmed when it says "healthy" lol. The food is so good you can't understand how they can make incredible food and stay away from gluten, cow milk and using only organic and locally sourced ingredients. Had Mie Goreng and it was delicious without being greasy, had yummy shiitake mushrooms, carrots, leeks and they even used only free range eggs. Also had Saba con Hielo which is to die for. The cashew milk blended so well with the chia seeds and sweetened plantain. A must stop in Salcedo Village.

During our stay in Makati we had the chance to try breakfast and dinner. They have great salads and breakfast tasted fresh. Staff are friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended.

I've been here 3 times with friends and after splitting the bill, it always gets to around P1,000-P2,000 per person. Believe me, things adds up quickly. You would think that after spending that much, I would have been enjoying what I was eating. Coming back here was the result of my friend from out of town who probably has read all the raves of food bloggers. I'm giving it 3 stars because for it's price, they ought to serve something delicious. I've been doing all the diets that require clean/organic, gluten-free, low carb, low fat plus low carb and have been eating on and off power foods like quinoa, and cacao nibs. Unhappy of what is being served in most places in Metro Manila where everything seems to be some sort of rice topping, I started to learn how to cook healthy/diet food. Now I can even bake breads and cakes using coconut and almond flour. But I tell you, all the diet food I cook I can't serve to anyone else because I know they taste terrible. Now this place actually serve food which tastes like the diet food I cook at home. And they charge way too much. The first star I'm giving is for the ambiance. Interiors is fabulous. It's beautiful. I could just have coffee and stay here the whole day. That's all that's probably worth paying for in this place. The two other stars are for the actual attempt for "healthy" food. And the plating is really good. For people coming here, it wouldn't make sense if you go organic for just one meal and then all your other meals are non-organic. Especially when you're going paleo, have to commit to it. It would be like going to the gym every other month and expect results from it. This isn't comfort food as the restaurant claims it to be, it's more like torture food. Yes, this is part of the life most of us has learned to accept. We just try to survive with the food our expensive diet allows. This is a warning for the rest of the people who aren't actually dieting/eating clean and expecting real food in this restaurant. Let's get down to business. The actual food we ordered. Chicken Dukkha Salad. This is one of their better salads. P580 for a bowl good for sharing. I had to remind myself that organic chicken is expensive in this country. Porkchops. 2 pieces for a whopping P690. Nothing spectacular about these chops. Nothing. Except probably the fact that it's organic beef. Tastes bland. I had to remind myself that they use less flavoring in this restaurant. Gyudon Rice Bowl. P380. Who would think they won't get this right? Well it seems like they ran out of soy sauce. It's just bland. It looks really good but tasteless. My friend said it's healthy, none of the delicious bad stuff (soy sauce!!) was used. Pastries like chocolate cake and strawberry (shortcake?) muffin. Because they probably used some substitute, they didn't taste delicious but they were passable enough as healthy food. Remember, organic stuff is expensive in this country. I'm not sure what made the dessert healthy--was it sugar-free? Dairy-free? Low carb? Gluten-free? I didn't care anymore! It wasn't like we were there to enjoy the food, were we?

Vegan cheese, sweet onion jam, sourdough toast.

I decided to visit The Wholesome Table as it's hard to find vegan food in Manila. Inside the restaurant it's quiet and the setting is industrial but not cold. I was kind of excited at this point, but it all went downhill after that. Tried the vegan cheese, which lacked both texture and taste. The Be Tropical smoothie was really good but definitely on the high end of pricing at PHP 280. For my main I ordered the Buddha Bowl and while I ate it, I thought it was a little weird. Asked to see the menu and it confirmed my suspicions. I may have ordered the Buddha Bowl, but what I received was the Vegan Poke Bowl. Nice, but at PHP 250 and not what I ordered, and so I left disappointed. I'm glad someone wants to do healthy, organic food and with vegan options, but the food should taste good, have more than tapas sized portions, and not be overpriced. Can't say that I'll return any time soon.

Finally found a place that serves Acaiiiiiií bowls! Oh how I craved it so badly. Not my first coming here but I was one of the first customers that came in when they first opened up. Food was great and service/staff was on point and to this day Wholesome is still doing very well. For being in the Philippines for such a long time now, I am thankful that I have found this one for sure. Will definitely keep coming back for more, more, more to try new juices, smoothies, and food. So exciting! (:

FINALLY got a table here! For the past weeks, I had been trying my luck but would always get the "sorry, we are full until closing time" greeting from their reception but yesterday, I FINALLY GOT A TABLE! For seven people at that! Thank you, 2pm! I think I love this branch now more than the Fort one. The space feels more welcoming and open (in Filipino terms, "maaliwalas) that it accurately, effectively conveys their "Haaay relax, it's organic" vibe better. Most importantly, the natural light is more inspiring for...great Instagram photos! Hahaha! As for the food, I have equal love for this branch and the Fort one - their superfood-packed smoothies are the best in Manila (get the Be Worthy one!!), their salads are yum and their bowls are still my personal scene stealers - my favorite of all, their Protein Power Bowl. Quinoa goodness!!! However, I should seriously stop ordering these things so I can try other things on the menu like their veggie burger - hopefully as good as or even better than Green Pastures'! The only thing that will make this place even better? Delivery service! OH THAT WILL BE THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

Just had the most perfect lazy morning breakfast at George and Onnie's (or Little Flour, whatever…read morethey're calling it now) and I'm still thinking about it hours later. Walked in around 7:30 before the mall got crazy, and the place was chill with that cozy café smell hitting you right away--fresh coffee and baked goods. Ordered the longsilog and wow, the longganisa patty was juicy and garlicky without being too greasy, paired with perfectly sunny-side-up eggs and garlic rice that was spot-on crispy. The atchara on the side cut through everything so nicely. Grabbed their signature ube pandesal French toast on the side because why not, and it was ridiculous--soft, custardy inside with that sweet ube glaze that wasn't overpowering. Coffee was strong and hot, just how I like it. Server was super attentive without hovering, refilled my water before I even asked. For the price, it felt like a steal compared to other spots in the area. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. 100% coming back tomorrow before my flight. After a…read morelittle online sleuthing (a.k.a. me scrolling through Google Maps like it's Tinder), I decided to check out Pancake House -- conveniently a short walk from where I was staying. Like most sit-down spots in BGC, the service was lovely -- smiles all around, not a single complaint. But let me drop a PSA for any future diners: these folks have Olympic-level upselling skills. You think you're just getting a drink? Boom -- now it's a refillable iced tea. You order a meal? Suddenly, it comes with a "highly recommended" upgrade. They could probably convince you to add an appetizer to your water. Anyway, I went with the pork tocino breakfast (because I'm not about to skip protein) and added caramel walnut banana pancakes -- because self-care. The tocino and garlic fried rice were so good I had to tap out before even touching the pancakes, so I boxed them to go. Fast-forward a few hours: I'm ready for my pancake moment. I butter them up, drizzle that caramel sauce, take a bite -- and immediately go, "Wait... why does this taste... meaty?" After a few detective bites, I realized there was definitely some kind of cross-contact situation happening. Somewhere, a rogue spatula betrayed me. I sadly retired the pancakes to the trash. Honestly, aside from the unexpected meat-flavored dessert, it was still a decent experience and a solid kickoff to my BGC trip. Lesson learned though: in Manila, even your pancakes might come with a little extra protein. Overall, I'm giving the tocino breakfast a 4.5, the banana pancakes a 2 (1 for looks and the other 2 for effort), service a 4 so I feel a solid 3.5. Worth a visit and the Mind Museum is a short walk away too!!

We were walking around we couldn't make a decision on where to eat despite massive choices in restaurants. I ordered 2 taco, that says"best intown" but it's not the best. The bread they used for a burger tasted weird. The kids ordered pancake for supper , pancake is always a safe choice. So one star only. I was warned.
