Based on my experience, I would say 2.5 to 3. Yes, it is a nice space and they do offer you a drink. However, my stylist was a bit brutal. She said I'm basically all grey - hence needing constant color - which is inaccurate. Said my hair looked yellow (from previous blonde highlights) when I walked in. Made references to me coloring it myself when actually it was professionally done in England of all places. And I was quite happy w my English stylist. The price was considerably high, and although we discussed a minimal cut w no layers, pretty sure she layered my hair which is now kind of a mess in this cold, dry winter. Originally, I had thought, whatever. Sometimes stylists are a bit direct - either they talk a lot or not at all. But then, reminding myself of how much I spent over the course of months - two appointments at Wicked - I thought, no, they could do better. read more

A complete rip off. Terrible hair stylists with little to no experience in styling, coloring, or even simply trimming. I went twice and had my hair burnt off the second time just getting a highlight touch up. When you're in there waiting - the staff is so unfriendly. The atmosphere is incredibly cut throat for zero reason, you can tell all of the stylists despise each other. I moved to Rapid City and my hair was destroyed within 3 months because of this place. Got a men's cut here when I was travelling. I found the salon stuff to be very friendly and professional. Dawn was my stylist and she did a fantastic job on my cut. Called 2 months ago to get on a wait list to schedule an appointment with my stylist who was on maternity leave. I was told to wait and that I would receive a call when she returned to schedule an appointment. I called today and was told she was back however was booked through November. The first available appointment was weeks from now and I leave the country next week. Why tell customers to wait for a call when you have no care for your customers calls? For a high end salon I'm extremely disappointed in the care I have received. When I told the individual who answered the phone I received no sympathy and was rushed off the phone. read more

My boyfriend and I decided it would be nice to receive a couples massage. We were greeted and taken upstairs. The atmosphere was very nice until we started the massage and one of the therapists had a smokers cough plus a cold. Despite what others have said on their Yelp reviews, I on the other hand happen to find Wicked to be the most professional salon I've been to. Upon moving to the hills from Southern California, I was extremely impressed with Wicked's stylists and their level of talent and creativity, as well as their professionalism. I have had my hair done by three different artists there and have never been disappointed. Although the stylist I got was very friendly and did a good job on the haircut I received I feel that the color was not what I asked for at all. I feel that I specifically asked for no more dark on the top and I ended up with dark all over with streaks. I did ask for streaks but I wanted chunky streaks and I got tiny ass barely there streaks an now it looks as if it's all blended in with the dark now. As for their pricing, the fucking website has "stylist"prices and "designer" prices. When I called to make an appointment I asked for a cut an color by a stylist. Average price range 100$-120$ I'm guessing..... Which is what I expected to pay. They set up my appointment for two weeks later, I got my hair done, again the cut is great just not the color. When I went to pay they tried charging me 167.00$!!! I told them no I was online an know the prices and when I called I made sure I asked for stylist. The little snotty girl behind the counter said "well she's a designer and we go off of her pricing" oh so your just allowed to pick your own pricing now? I said no I did not ask for a "designer" an no I will not be paying that much the most it says online is the price range I expected. She said "well I can take $20.00 of for you" but that's the best I can do.....again blatant picking their own prices!? I just paid $145.00 and now I have to go to Sally's beauty supply an buy some bleach an go fix my streaks the way I asked for them myself. Again liked the hairstylist but they need to get better appointment setters an be clear on if you want a " stylist"or a "designer." As well as should not be allowed to just add more $ because they feel like it. I see no added benefit of having a "designer" my hair color is crap and I'll fix it myself. Color is not that expensive I have an esthetician license I know. Don't go to this place just a bunch of girls trying to hussle your $. read more

From the receptionist to the stylists, this is the best salon I have ever been to. They are beyond incredible. I almost want to fly back just to have my hair done again.
