This is the second time we used Caleb Lawson from Michelle Lawson Photography. First was for my…read moredaughter's wedding in 2022. And recently, on December 28, 2025 for family photo's on the beach. First of all, they are extremely flexible in scheduling. Our out-of-state children and grandchildren came into town on Saturday. And our grown children that live here in South Florida have very hectic work schedules during the holidays. Not only was Caleb agreeable to doing the photo shoot on Sunday (THE only time two of our kids could do it), but he accommodated an early morning start time (so they could go to work afterwards) and adjusted it even earlier for lighting purposes, despite him having a late wedding shoot the night before! You would have never known it, for the energy level that Caleb had! I gave him a rough list of groupings I wanted and Caleb gave us that and 10 X more! He new the perfect spot for the photo shoot and the artistry , lighting and effects were breath-taking! Caleb took candid shots of the little ones doing their thing, and was able to capture their little personalities and sweetness! Our photos (350+) were edited with perfection and emailed to us a mere 1.5 weeks later! We couldn't have been happier with the final results! My heart is full scrolling through these family photo's and I can't wait to design an album for them and hang many of them in our home. Today, only Fred. Anyway, Fred is an EXCELLENT job! He took one picture. He inquired if I liked it. As I was on the fence about it, he took another. We then decided of the two photos, the first one was the best. So, I paid in cash. He gave me two identical photos, and I left. The pictures on their website and featured in their Yelp listing are not exactly what I was looking for in a professional business photo. But let me be the first to tell you, don't believe what you see! Yes, these photos (airbrushed backgrounds a la 7th grade yearbook photos and cheesy pregnancy shots) are scattered throughout the studio. But the staff - Robert, Keith & Sheila - are friendly and professional and eager to please! After about 15 minutes of awkward leaning, head tilting, and very slight chin movements, the photographer, Robert, showed me a glimpse of some of the shots in his camera - I was very impressed. Later that afternoon, I got the contact sheets with proofs from the session, featuring over 20 shots to choose from. Most of them were great, so it was definitely hard to choose. Once my final selection was made, I emailed them with the picture reference, and within a couple days, they sent me back the finalized and re-touched image - it looked great! Technically we used him twice, not sure how we got him the second day... but i have no complaints. We wanted individual pictures for each guest and He nailed the assignment! Every picture was great!
