Payment, delivery, pickup, etc. were all done via email/phone. No need to be present when they dropped the dumpster off. Additionally, they used wood matting under the dumpster as to not damage the driveway. The dumpster (ironically - it's a dumpster) was very clean, nicely painted, well maintained and greased, which is another plus in my book. The bin has a nice feature where the doors open like a French door so you can easily wheel/carry debris in. The doors have securing locks so they don't flap in the breeze. Although I'm not a fan of lime green paint, but it sure beats a rusty, dirty, junky looking trash bin from other folks - Plus I'm sure it's a "franchised look". Lastly, make sure you call and speak with Bruce. My location wasn't directly listed in the "service area", but being so close to Bridgeville in Washington County, additiontal accomidaitons where made! Moving forward if I have the need for another bin/dumpster, I'll definitely be calling Bruce @ Bin There Dump That.

We got everything loaded into the dumpster and called the company to let them know they could pick it up before Friday if they wanted, as we had finished the job we needed it for. This company presents itself as a dumpster rental operation. It is not. They are a broker -- they take your money, hand your job off to a local contractor, and then become completely useless the moment anything goes sideways. And in my case, things went very sideways. The container that showed up was a trailer. Not a dumpster. A trailer -- with a bed sitting three feet off the ground. I had heavy material to move, and now instead of rolling it into a ground-level dumpster like a normal human being, I was expected to hoist everything up over a trailer wall. Not what I agreed to. Not what I paid for. I called customer service and spoke to a rep named Kevin. First he told me the company exclusively rents roll-off dumpsters. Then he got off the phone with the local contractor and came back with a completely different story -- apparently my trailer was actually a 10-yard dumpster. Funny how that works. Escalating was a dead end. Kevin insisted he was the highest authority available. When I pointed out that not owning the company means someone above you exists, it didn't move the needle at all. The options he offered -- a $500 credit or two extra days -- solved exactly none of my actual problem. I needed the right equipment, not a consolation prize. A real discount? Out of the question. And if I sent the trailer back? They'd still pocket $250 for the trip. Skip the middleman entirely. Find a local dumpster company, talk to an actual human being who owns actual equipment, and save yourself all of this.
