I started buying from Cigars international sometime after moving to San Diego in 1997. I been a…read morecustomer for a long time and they had provided good service over the years and I have recommended them to many people. But now, very recently I moved to Prescott Arizona. I called CI in Bethlehem and phoned in an order with my new address and info. I paid extra for quick shipping. Now after all this time they sent me a request for proof of age. What? If I had been one year old when I first ordered I'd be old enough But, I gave them the requested information. It was evidently not sufficient, so I provided a copy of my new Drivers License with my picture. I am 74. Never heard back. Today I call age verification. They confirmed my age. But now my Order was cancelled yesterday. I provided the requested info on time. Where is my refund. I had to reorder. Where is the refund for the extra I paid for fast shipping? This is not quick service! They provide good cigars at a good price, JUST DON'T MOVE. This has been a very frustrating experience.

I recently placed an order and when I went back to check the order status, it just showed as "processing." I tried to contact them by way of chat and it kept telling me it was going to connect me with someone, but it never did. This went on for a couple of days and finally I got frustrated and canceled the order. Lo and behold the day I canceled it showed up in the mail! Had it not shown up this would have been a one star review. I've been ordering from pipes and cigars.com for probably about 20 years now and the only advice I can give them is if they want to stay in business their customer service department needs a major overhaul, needs to get in gear and take care of their customers! If they don't somebody else, certainly will.

The staff has always been very knowledgeable and kind. That said, during a recent visit (today) I noticed a few of the staff members not caring enough about the mask policy. Allowing the mask below the nose and having it half on. I respect everyone's right to feel however they want but it didn't make me feel very safe. I regularly go out of my way to support this local shop but I will unfortunately be shopping online until this Covid-19 stuff passes. They did have hand sanitizer ready for those that use it. Again, this is a great store and I recommend it to those that do not think that masks are important. Hopefully, I get to shop at my local store again very soon.

It was in my spam box, I found it. There is no mention of a monthly fee in that email. They are major scammers and try to initiate a monthly charge of about $14.95 in my account. Once I noticed that It was hell to get it cancelled. First Purorewards says they are going to send an email about your password which I tried multipl;e times and never got it. Then I got the run around from Cigar international back and forth to PuroRewards. It took my a few hours and several calls and transfers to cancel it. This should be illegal business practice. I hope a law firm bring a class action lawsuit against both companies. You would expect this kind of trickery from shady eastern Europe.
