I was a long time customer of Cigars International however I will never use this company again. I placed two orders for an important upcoming family retreat. Both orders were returned to sender while in transit. After my fist order was returned to sender, I contacted CI customer service who arranged to resend my orders and and the representative assured me that these would be delivered in time for my event. Again, both orders were returned to sender. Fortunately, Cigar Page bailed me out and sent me a similar order in time for my event. How hard would it have been for CI's customer service representative to identify the problem, fix the problem and send me the replacement orders? read more

Have been enjoying a law enforcement / military vet discount for years with Cigars International. It is automatically applied to each order. My last order, the discount had strangely disappeared. I called their customer service, and received a major runaround. After numerous emails, I asked the customer service rep to please call me to figure this out. She said a rep would call me within 48 hours. That was 5 days ago - still no call or attempt to resolve. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Criminal enterprise. I made one purchase as a Christmas gift and was automatically charged for Puro Perks Club membership. I caught the charge and request it be cancelled and refunded. They cancelled the payment on their web page but never refunded the $14.95. They then charged me again the next month. I call again, same exercise. They call back and confirmed the cancellation. No refund. Guess what, they billed me again. Third times a charm. I turned it over to the fraud department at my bank. Do NOT purchase anything from these criminals. read more

I buy online several.times per year. Somehow I must have clicked on tbier puro perks program and have been getting billed for nearly a year since I noticed it. Its on me for not looking at my bill but I got absolutely NOTHING for this membership. Not an email, special sale, coupons--- NOTHING. The first contact is received is when I blocked the charge on my card, then they contacted me. I canceled and they offered me a month refund. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever recieved in any capacity. I have been waiting over 2 months for two simple refunds on product I had to return as it came to me damaged. Each and every day over the course of 2 months I call into this place to inquire where my refund is. Each and every day I am told a new lie. One day a check has been mailed. Fast forward 2 weeks and no check has been mailed. Another day my refund is going to my original payment method, but it never happens. When you call into their help line, you never get anyone that speaks English. Over 2 months and these people are just unable to issue a simple refund. I really wanted to like this company, but it has been a complete nightmare! Were out of my double cigar of the month cigars and a representative tried to say they did not charge me when they actually did. I also signed up for the single month club and I received a box with a cheap cutter and no cigars. Shipping has been terrible and im still waiting on an order! They clothes lost it and would send it through UPS. I just received a notification that they are sending it through usps instead. The cigars international have received are mediocre. I, for one, don't get all the negative reviews. I have been buying thousands of my cigars from them for over 15 years from both when I lived and Florida and now Louisiana. If you order from CI make sure they don't sneakily add subscriptions to your order. All of a sudden I have charges on my card for things I unknowingly signed up for. I mean all you have to do is sell your product to consumers and if you do a good job we will return. Now I'm done with your company. Scamming / phishing emails that trace back to this business and address. - SCAMMERS - They are running B2B billing scams out of this office. they are sending out emails to companies stating that they are about to process an invoice that they owe you, and ask you how you would like payment. It's so stupid that I doubt anyone would fall for it but they're trying to either get your bank account information, or they're going to overpay you and ask you to wire them the difference. But they never pay you legitimately in the first place, their funds bounce. read more

Do NOT ever give Cigars International any of your information!!! They will sign you up for magazine subscriptions WITHOUT your consent, knowledge, or approval. After you do some investigating to figure out that the random magazines are from Cigars International, then you you have to call them, and they will deny everything, claiming that you signed up/agreed (a blatant lie), and they will refuse to do anything. They state you must contact their partner scamming company, Bperks, but they never answer their phone at all! I have dealt with Cigars International for over 10 years. Something is obviously going on within this company. The customer service was always top notch. I've attended their Cigarfest events and always had great interactions with the staff. They now ignore any contact made by customers. As I write this, I have an outstanding order that is "processing". My credit card was charged the $19.99 plus shipping for the product, but it was never shipped. I've sent no less 10 inquiries and received no response. I called the customer service number, but you will die and turn to dust before they pick up the phone. Perpetual hold. I am very disappointed in Cigars International. Based on the current reviews, I believe we are witnessing the death wobble of a once great company. They have a new call center that is awful. According to the call center, the "back office" is still reviewing my order five days later. "Precious" my call center rep from yesterday promised she would call me back between 2-3 pm today. It's 4:15, no call from "Precious" and I am on hold waiting for a supervisor. I am approaching an hour cumulative from 3 calls and I am no closer to finding out if I will get my cigars on time for the work event. So much for a seamless experience. Cigars international is probably the worst online retailer you could ever do business with. I have in the past purchased from them but last July I was enrolled in their "Puro" cigar program. I did not sign up for it and was billed $14.95 for the past 10 months. I was never mailed anything informing me I was enrolled nor did I receive any products or services. When I attempted to get my money back I was advised I would only be getting 4 months of fees returned to me. Do not do business with these lying thieves. Well, I've been using CI for a while, without any real issues until recently. Occasionally some of the cigars I've ordered have been a little dry/crumbly, but nothing too bad. However, in the most recent batch I ordered, 5 of the particular cigar brand were really terrible. Extremely bitter and something very off about them, making them un-smokable. Now, I don't know if this was a problem with the manufacturer, or storage, but after having written to them about the issue, I've received no word back. I've been buying from cigarbid.com for a few years and usually I'm pretty satisfied, but lately they've down the toilet. Bad batches of cigars, slow shipping... Currently have an order of over $100 sitting in "label created" status with UPS for over a week. I've been ordering from CI for years now, and have spent thousands of dollars. The Good: They have some good deals many times, and the cigars come quickly. The Bad: I've experienced issues with cigars not burning, already being cut or just bad. Customer Service has been hit or miss, but since Covid hit CS has been absolutely atrocious. It takes nearly an hour to get someone ont he phone and they have no clue to what they are doing. I just got off the phone w CS and after 1 hr and 5 minutes, she wanted me to ship 2 cigars back at my cost.
