After meeting him in person for coffee, we knew he was going to be our wedding photographer. He was super friendly and had a very chill vibe! We thought that posing for an engagement photoshoot would be awkward, but he made it fun! For the actual wedding, Costas took over 1,200+ pictures for us, and they turned out gorgeous!! We were super lucky to have Costas as our photographer for one of the most special day of our lives. From beginning to end, he was always very easy to work with... definitely a blessing for brides like me who know what we want.... He was good at listening and giving honest feedback! He was also really flexible-- we were able to book photography for 2 different locations on the wedding day & for the hours we needed instead of most wedding photography packages that have to include X, Y, and Z. We mostly communicated online-- and Costas was pretty good about returning emails. Don't expect a response within a day, but at least within a few days or a week. He was also really punctual (which is SO IMPORTANT!!!) and honestly, I didn't have to worry about a thing during the wedding. He took all the important pictures & seriously was so hard working the whole time!!! I can't thank him enough!! And everything was priced as promised from the beginning without any hidden fees or upcharges. Very affordable compared to some other photographers I looked at. Most of all, the pictures he took were beautiful & completely my style (the angles, colors, lighting, editing). I can't say the same for the backup photographer that we got (that was the ONLY drawback... we thought we were going to work with someone else as our second photographer but ended up getting someone else-- and those pictures were not as good as what we were expecting...sad but I'm sure preventable) But I highly recommend Costas-- especially if you want any engagement shots or a small-mid sized wedding. He also specializes in photography for automobiles (AKA wonderful & creative gift for you to get any guy who owns a car he loves & wants a photoshoot of it) He is extremely talented and laid back and true to his word! I had something in mind (bluebonnet field), but they really rolled with the idea and found us the perfect location! What I like most about Jared and Paul is their enthusiasm to take the best possible pictures all while making sure the client was also having an enjoyable time (which we did!) We spent the entire afternoon with them, finding new locations to shoot. We weren't locked into any particular spot, which we were really appreciative of. While they clarified with us that they had only recently begun their photography business together, their photos proved they had a true talent for this and in no way did we feel like we were with amateurs. They were professional and the photos speak for themselves. (Amazing.) We've had dozens of people share how much they loved the finished images. :) For all our future photography needs we will definitely be calling them again!

He caught all the moments I really wanted, plus some that I didn't even know happened until seeing the pictures! I didn't notice him at all during the ceremony, yet judging by the photos, he was everywhere! Our guests said the same thing - "he was everywhere"! Every single time something happened that I wanted a photo of, there he was already getting set up for the shot! I was amazed. Plus, the guests loved his friendly and easy-going personality. We now have hundreds of photos in an online gallery for us to share with everyone, plus we own the images, so we can print any of the photos we want! I am so glad we used dV for our wedding!

We initially hired Raghu Uncle as our photographer / videographer for our engagement party in…read moreDecember 2016, following a recommendation from a close family friend. This was the BEST decision that we could have made. We were aware of his professionalism and quality of work, but were surprised at how personable he was and how he tried to customize each experience for his clients. Raghu Uncle immersed himself in our event. Leading up to the engagement party he was thorough; he tried to understand the type of shots we like to see, i.e. candid vs. portrait or colored vs. black / white, so he could deliver on the day of the event. He made himself available by phone, text and email to alleviate any concerns that we may have had leading up to the event, when stress levels were greatest. When asked, he was willing to go outside of the purview of his role as a photographer / videographer to ensure that our event was perfect by lending advice based on his experiences. After our engagement party, despite having other events to work, he was still accessible. Equally important, he delivered our engagement photos in a timely manner. This is an important consideration for all those looking to hire a photographer / videographer - how quickly can they edit, finalize and deliver the photos from your event to you. Raghu Uncle was able to give us ours in less than one month, despite being fully booked for other events. This left a lasting impression with us. Naturally, given our amazing experience during our engagement party, we hired him and his team for our wedding - despite it being in another city. Raghu Uncle quickly went from just another vendor to a friend. We had our pre-wedding shoot in another city, again, no issues from Uncle. We spent roughly 10 hours this day (including a break for lunch) taking photos. Throughout it all, Raghu Uncle was encouraging and enthusiastic. We were able to do three wardrobe changes and took shots from three different locations. Raghu Uncle saw that we were having fun and in turn, he was having fun. As I mentioned before, he tries to customize each experience so that it's perfect for the couple. In the end, we had a ton of photos in our arsenal! Finally, it was time for the wedding week. Raghu Uncle photographed and recorded four events for us. Throughout each of the four events, Raghu Uncle and team were where they needed to be. I'm certain that no stone was left unturned and no key moment went unphotographed. This speaks to the quality of their experience and moreover their attention to detail. To touch on one more aspect of our experience with Raghu Uncle, before moving on to costs, it has been a little over one month since our wedding has passed. At our one month mark, Raghu Uncle posted a few pictures on Facebook from our events. This showed me that we weren't just another number or event to him; it was a nice personal touch. We truly believe that Raghu Uncle and team are the best available and the easiest to work with. He was referred to us and it's only right that we pay this great experience forward to the next couple. Of course, like with all vendors, money is a relevant issue. In our experience, Raghu Uncle was the type of vendor to work with you. His primary goal was for us to have the best experience possible and not be overwhelmed with costs. My sense is that he is looking to make a fair and equitable accord, as opposed to becoming an overnight millionaire. He was genuinely the complete package - professional, personable and affordable - while delivering high quality shots and videos in a timely manner. I hope the detail from our experiences serves you all well as you consider a photographer / videographer for your event(s). DO hire Mir if you want: 1 - to call, email, text your photographer repeatedly before he ever answers. 2 - to be repeatedly lied to and told your pictures will be ready in 4-6weeks then wait weeks before you are told the same thing again. 3 - him to cancel on your engagement session. 4 - to only have pictures of the bride and groom from the wedding; everyone else will either not be pictured or will have blurry pictures and you will be told THEY were not standing still so its not his fault. 5 - to only have 2-3 pictures with your immediate family at the wedding and even those will not be clear. 6 - him to try to trick you into giving up all your rights to your pictures. 7 - to not ever receive your wedding albums. 8 - to eventually file a complaint in court to get your wedding albums. If you are hiring him for the most memorable day of your life - think twice.
