They took the car for another two weeks, and it came back nice and shiny, but with overspray EVERYWHERE. it took me two days with 303 cleaner and a scotchbrite pad to clean off the excess paint. Now, 2 years in the paint is still blistering. I thought of contacting Lamar yesterday as I'm a neighbor and drove by seeing a customer vehicle open to the elements (heavy rain). His response was disgusting and unprofessional. I'm so sorry I recommend his shop to so many people. I thought the issues with my car were just a one off thing, but it turns out the owner is just a jerk.

They gave me an outside date by which they would be able to take the car because they were backed up. The called ahead of the date, and after I delivered the car they were prompt, thorough, and while the car was there called me twice to give me updates. Their work was outstanding and they definitely had my best interests in mind when figuring out what to do and how to do it. I would absolutely go back there for any other work I needed done, ( hopefully never).

This is not how Caliber is supposed to operate. The consultation was shockingly accusatory. She stated that the car had been sitting and not used. I use my car every single day except one day a month. It rained yesterday and I park under trees, as many of us do in Savannah. Then they said the issue was caused by an accident after my initial repair. I think I would know if I had another accident and would have filed a new claim with my insurance company. The work was approved along with a rental from the original store in Florida, but I have decided to go elsewhere.

***LONG REVIEW*** I brought my car in for a repair estimate on January 31st because I saw on their…read morewebsite, they offer free repair estimates. They said they couldn't do an estimate but that I could send the estimate I received from my insurance company. I proceeded to do that, and he said the soonest date I could bring it in for repair was February 24th. I didn't want to wait that long, but this was the only shop that kept getting recommended to me, so I figured they were pretty good and reputable. I received a call from the shop on February 19th and was asked to confirm that I still planned to bring the car in that following Monday to have it repaired. They said as long as I confirm the appointment, they would go ahead and order the parts, that way it wouldn't take so long. I confirmed but a time was never discussed. I brought it in around 11:30 AM on the 24th. I asked for an estimate on repair time, and she said I should have my car by the end of the week, which was no problem for me. The next day, I received a call saying they ordered the wrong mirror so they put the order in but would continue to work on the driver side fender until the part came in. I called the shop that Friday to get an update on my car and they said that they were still waiting for the mirror to come in but that everything else was going smoothly. Tuesday, March 3rd, my dad called the shop to get an update and they told him they were just starting the repairs on the car. He asked them about how long it would take and they said I should have my car by March 10th at the latest. When he questioned the length of repair, they told him they only work on the car for a maximum of 4 hours a day. Not even 24 hours later, I receive a call from my insurance company because the repair shop had to order more parts, like a replacement headlight. My headlight was working properly and didn't have any damage when I brought my vehicle in, so I can only suspect they broke it. She said I most likely will not receive my car until Friday, March 13th. I'm not understanding why my car will have been with them for over half a month (as long as they don't have to order anymore parts within this next week) when my car was not totaled. The damage was fairly minor. They've given my insurance company, my dad, and me 3 different stories and have lied about the work they're doing. I will never recommend someone to them if this is what they'll have to deal with, no matter how good their work is.

I had a ten o clock appointment and arrived five minutes early. After being (snappily) handed a form to fill out, I was abandoned. At ten twenty five I called my insurance and told them I would like my claim transferred. So I lost forty minutes of work for nothing other than rude service.
