She is a student at SCAD and we're in East Cobb, 4 hours away... she had her mirror knocked off of her Grand Cherokee and needed a replacement. They ordered a replacement, color matched the paint and pre-finished it so the installation was only an hour with her appointment this morning. Camping at Skidaway Island, I backed up and dented my truck's tailgate. It was right around the latch/ back up camera/lock area - which looked like it might fall out on the highway. We had our Infiniti repaired here and they did a great job. It is not perfect but I am very picky. It does look very good. My issue was with my 2nd vehicle. I brought my 2021 VW here after my rear bumper was scraped in a driveway. Ed told me that the entire bumper had to be removed and painted. I paid for the job and a week and a half later it was returned. Btw I was told 3 days at drop off. It looked horrible! Paint runs on both sides and edges were cracked. I promptly returned and asked Ed is he even inspected the finished product and he stated "no". He Apologized and stated that he would handle when I could leave the vehicle again. 2 weeks later I left the car for a week. Literally left it static for the entire week and when I called on the day I returned Dawn mentioned that it was in the paint booth and will be finished by noon. Very Interesting since my vehicle app stated "doors locked" and no history in 4 days? When I picked it up it was buffed and possibly wet sanded but the edges where never touched or the paint runs on the opposite side of the bumper. Ed apologized again and stated to bring it back to be redone. I figured why not 1 more time. Grace before wrath. I received a call from Dawn that they were taking the week of the 4th off so if I could bring the car back on the 2nd they have time in the "booth". I left it the night before and called the next day. I didn't need the car back but Dawn mentioned that it only needed a few minutes for Ed to put it back together and it was almost finished. Again my car app stated that the car had not been touched. 1 hour later Ed called that he could return the car to me at my work. Nice but I picked up the care and trusted all was well. Guess what. One corner looks like some one put "whiteout" on it and never touched the rest of the bumper. It was still dirty even? I will visit them upon there return to discuss this. Obviously I am going somewhere else to paint my bumper. Thankfully it's not an entire car right? I hate leaving bad reviews on small local businesses but I couldn't ignore this one. Outstanding job! They fixed a small dent/scratch, and made my Acura like new again. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Excellent customer service. Danyel was so professional and friendly. Clean office. I dropped off my car Wed am, and it was ready by Mon afternoon. They were booked solid, so I did have to wait a few weeks to get on the schedule. I went to 4 places total for an estimate: Akins and Bobb- they did not even give a paper with an estimate and the office/lot looked a hot mess. Gerber collision (Sav) acted like it was an inconvenience just to ask for an estimate, which is unfortunate because their cheshire bridge location is excellent. They also gave the highest estimate. Maaco seemed ok, but dirty office. If I'm gonna pay a lot of money for a car repair, I'm not just gonna drop it off at some auto body shop that doesn't know how to be professional or show some type of interest. A & L is far superior to any of those shops, and I'm glad I did business with them. read more

Came in looking to get a quote for a hole in my sunroof due to a tree falling on my car , which as a result, was leaking water every time it rained. I was welcomed by a guy who immediately inspected my car. He gave me a quote but for me it was more than what I was willing to pay. But the nice guy who was helping me (sorry i don't know his name) suggested he simply seal the parts that was causing the leak and he popped my sunroof back in place. My daughter goes to SCAD and her car was hit while parked and the front quarter panel was severely dented. The bumper and fender liner were both hanging down making the car difficult to drive. My daughter went to A&L to see if they could "wire up" the fender so she could drive the car to school and work. Dawn and her team at A & L were awesome. They secured the bumper and fender liner and were super nice to a young college girl. I was so impressed we insisted our insurance use A & L to fix the car. I had two claims for body work (bumper and hood) and Ed was great! Dawn and Ed advocated for me to get new parts even though insurance wanted the hood to be repaired. With the delay at getting parts in from the port and a lot of rain limiting their ability to paint, it took a little longer to get my car finished, but they worked with me to get it back before I needed it to go out of town! It looks great!! They detailed it and it's definitely in better condition now both inside and out than when I dropped it off. read more

We are new to Savannah and the very tight garage we have to maneuver into. Well we weren't too successful at it in the first 2 weeks of living here and the right front fender paid the price. We took the car to two places for quotes - one reminded me of the scene in Moonstruck where Cher's father Vincent Gardenia - who is a plumber - is quoting a job. He makes the homeowners feel cheap and foolish for thinking they can get it done for less and emphasizes the value and panache of copper pipes. The other was A&L Auto Body Shop where the process began with a discussion of our options and costs (one half of the elegant other shop's quote) and a recommendation from Dan (a vet and a really stand up guy) as to what approach made the most sense. We left the car with Dan with the understanding it would take five days at the price quoted. The car looked perfectly restored and shiny clean inside and out five days later for the exact price of the quote. While A&L doesn't offer you coffee, donuts and cable TV while you wait for the incredibly detailed quote, they do offer excellent, fair-priced and trustworthy service. I hope we don't need them any time soon, but if we do, I hope they can take us! read more

Due to the stupid design of BMW front fender guards, if one over runs a cement parking curb, it can rip out the fender guard / skid plate. After reading reviews on shops and knowing exactly what BMW would recommend, I visited A & L. I was impressed with the candor; I was pleased with the presentation of best case and worst case scenarios, and I was impressed with the approach that sometimes, things can simply be repaired to good as new ... they don't always have to be replaced. Let me tell you being new to Savannah and getting into a horrible accident (that was not even a smidgen your fault) is kind of the worst combination. The damage was extensive and the whole ordeal entirely stressful, but if I (God forbid) found myself in a similar pickle again, I would undoubtedly entrust my Mini to these folks again. The repair took a little over a month, which is long, but Danielle patiently and courteously kept me updated through it all. I have an erratic work schedule and I appreciated that even when I missed her phone calls, she would always leave me extremely detailed messages to assure me that things were going to be a-okay. I would say that I spoke to Danielle at least once a week, so yes, we were basically bffs for the last month. The day I went to pick up my car, Danielle even offered to make a call to Enterprise to make the rental car return smoother. They did a great repair job and I can't thank them enough. read more
