Let me start by saying this was the best workout I have had in a long time; it's sort of high intensity, but not the entire time. Parking is free and is located in a shopping/apartment garage; also, parking was easy to find. The workout class consists of exercises involving bands, circuits, tone, and dance. The best part of the workout was the resistance bands and dancing (I loved the disco lights while dancing). I left the workout class feeling energized; I will definitely go back again and highly recommend this class to others!!

Took the introductory class and I'd say the workout was mainly fast paced cardio so it was very fun. I'm feeling pretty sore the next day so I'd say it was a successful workout! I really liked the dim lighting which makes Zumba classes way more enjoyable. Just keep in mind, like most workout studios there aren't going to be masks enforced inside or in the locker areas so I'd keep that in mind if that bothers you. Overall, very friendly staff!

My boyfriend and I used to do a good bit of rowing at our CrossFit classes and decided to give this gym a go! I signed us up for a free intro class! Bam!! Upon walking in, we were promptly greeted by the owner, Eddie. We were surprised to see our names neatly written on their welcome board- such sweet touches! The gym was so neat and clean! Smelled of buttered waffles lol After a swift greeting, Eddie asked us each what our goals were and what we were looking for in this workout. Just stuff to get him introduced to us so he knows what we are looking for - great sales skills! Eddie walked us into the studio that was equipped with about 12 different rowers aligned in two neat rows. There was a small stage upfront where the instructor and her rower were visible from all aspect of the studio. I was so impressed that both the owner, Eddie and the instructor, Kelly took time to familiarize my boyfriend and I with the rowing equipment and broke down the rowing movements, prior to the start of class. We were practically professional rowers by the end of the 30 minute Interval class. The workout was good. As a semi-trained bystander, the workout was a light sweat. Not winded or too out of breath. The workout routine included about 4 sections of rowing to the beat and two sections of dumbbell work off to the side of our rowers. It was a quick 30 minutes that included a great warm-up and warm-down. I was so impressed that they incorporated these into the class time appropriately. I cant tell you how many gyms Ive been to and after the time is up, they leave you huffing for air with no proper cool down of the muscles. After our class, Eddie showed us our stats for the workout. I learned that I row too quick! Lol He kindly informed us of his membership and packages without any pressure to sign up. From what I can recall, they were priced very affordably too! If you are looking for a gym with AMAZING staff, great community feel, and a way to stay healthy and fit, Row House is your place! Everything seems very straightforward when it comes to using the rooms and machines. Cons- It's small. I'm 5 11 and I can't do a lot of the yoga stuff due to a lack of space. The walls are low & close, which is a little odd because in all of the informational videos they have way more than enough space. I definitely would not have three people in one room two is more than enough. When signing up it is a minimum 3 month plan. Also I did find it a little weird I went back & fourth with Hattie on the enrollment price. When I walked in the sign said $20 enrollment && I had spoken to someone on Saturday & asked her if the $20 enrollment included the mat & towel she told me yes. When it was time to sign up she said the $20 was over bc that was last month. I wasn't feeling to well so I was kind of out of it but I reminded her the sign outside literally says $20 enrollment. She said she would change it & did!! I also told her my cousin referred me, she told me they they don't do anything with referrals, as soon as I signed up and got the app they definitely do do something for referrals lol Also, as soon as I got home, I saw that the enrollment for the month is now 4$. So it was a little weird that she kept pushing the $99 enrollment when I was aware of the $20 and for the month of July they're doing a 4$ enrollment. So just be aware of any specials before you go in.

There is only space for one class at a time, but the floor is huge! I'm thinking there would be more than enough room for a class of 30 people. There are barres (the portable kind) for hosting ballet classes, and weights of all sizes for fitness classes. The floor is kind of slippery, so if you tend to dance barefoot a lot and have soft feet (like me - definitely slipped a couple times lol) I'd suggest to at least wear some jazz footies with a grip bottom. There is ample cubbie space to store your belongings during class. There's even a good amount of waiting room for parents if you're looking to hold a class for children. Also there is a dressing room in addition to one unisex bathroom. On my way out, I spoke to the owner who was extremely friendly and mentioned that the studio has several time slots open for rentals at the moment. Dance instructors - check this place out!

WOW- talk about a workout!!…read more A friend had been trying to get me to join her for a sweat cycle class for some time. I basically told her the concept of cycling in a hot room sounds like torture to me!! However, I finally gave in and joined her for a Saturday morning class. Let's first talk about the location. The business is located inside of The Forum Athletic Club. The athletic club is located near the beauty school Elaine Sterling Institute and the Atlanta Police Department at Lenox mall. This should help you with actually getting to this spot. They have ample parking in the garage that is free. When you walk into the gym you need to follow the signs for sweat cycle. You are immediately greeted by the front desk staff and signed in. I was given the opportunity to pick my bike location and given a part of cycle shoes. NOTE: cycle shoes are required. You can not ride in your tennis shoes. Since this was my first class the instructor assisted me with sitting my bike up correctly. She measured the seat to my hip height and the handle bar against my arm reach. She also helped me lock the shoes in and gave me instructions on how to use the bike resistance and the various stances that will be called pit furring the classes the instructor advised that she recently had a baby so she would be on and off the bike, and likely off more. I can understand and respect that. The class started with a warm up and then the fun started. When I tell you this was 45 minutes of detoxification and cardio at the same time!! You basically get out of this class what you put in. If you go in and push yourself you will burn a ton of calories. I highly recommend coming hydrated and drinking water throughout the class! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that loves to cycle and wants to challenge themselves by doing it in a heated room! I look forward to my next class, maybe I will see you thee!

The event we attended was called Elites Get Coupled, which was appropriate given that it was almost Valentine's Day. Though my guy was totally nervous about this, I'm so glad we went!
