I lived very far away and was late almost every time, Justin was very patient and considerate about it and was willing to accommodate to my schedule and even provided additional time. La fitness needs to clean the pool more often (random debris is in the pool like wtf are yall doing in this pool) and check the temperature too many times i come and the pool is cold. They promote and charge us for a HEATED lap pool but the only thing heated is ME when I have to walk under that leaky, rusty, dusty backrooms looking hole in the ceiling and swim in cold water! the women's locker room ceiling is horrendous and nasty! It's been like this for over a two years they even put buckets right under it to catch whatever tf leaks from it blocking egress to and from the aquatic area. The men's pool entrance ceiling doesn't have this problem theirs it normal. This needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY only then will I update this review. This is nasty and unprofessional I've been a member of la fitness for TOO long to keep walking under this bs.

I have been an LA Fitness member for over 10 years, but my recent experience at the Camp Creek…read morelocation was unacceptable. I arrived with a friend and advised an employee named Jamal that I intended to use my membership's guest privileges. Jamal told me I did not have guest privileges. When I explained that I did, he again dismissed me in a condescending and unnecessarily hostile manner. I chose not to argue. I walked away and calmly explained the situation to another front-desk employee, who reviewed it and permitted us to enter. Despite that approval, Jamal followed after my friend and threatened to call the police. He then contacted a corporate manager and claimed that we had been rude to him, even though I had deliberately disengaged and asked another employee for assistance. A simple question about guest privileges could have been resolved by checking my membership or calmly involving a manager. Threatening police involvement after another employee approved our entry was disproportionate and disturbing. I have formally escalated this incident to LA Fitness corporate and requested that management preserve and review the security footage, speak with the employee who approved our entry and contact me with a resolution. Longtime members deserve to be treated professionally, even when there is a disagreement about access or membership privileges. I will update this review if management responds appropriately.

I've been training with Andrew at Diakadi for 2 months and have already noticed functional strength…read moreimprovements after a month of training with him. I wasn't able to do a single pull-up before and can now do two in row with the hardest grip position. As a trainer, he's really professional and knows his stuff. He's very responsive and communicative over text and flexible around scheduling! You can tell Andrew is passionate about what he does, he's interested in developing himself, and takes a holistic approach to health and wellness. He has certifications in P-DTR, which has really transformed my workouts as I'm able to keep going and get slight corrections. Before training with Andrew, I was already fairly active and I still take a lot of various small group classes at boutique fitness studios. I've dabbled in weightlifting before but I decided to work out with a trainer to build confidence with lifts and nail my form. I also had strength goals of building the requisite upper body strength for needed to execute aerial skills. With Andrew's help, I finally learned how to engage my back muscles properly (hello lats and rhomboids!) and strengthened my weaker accessory muscles and imbalances. Andrew is very receptive to my feedback. He adjusts the program to my goals and where I'm at fitness wise, never condescending or slow-tracking me (I'm not a complete newb) and not over-indexing on weight loss goals - though I did have slightly better composition as a side effect. After the initial assessment, he quickly got me started on a personalized strength building program. He continually adjusted my program based on where he was able to pinpoint weaknesses during our sessions. His coaching is also technical, provides good instructions on cleaning up form. I like Andrew's attitude and motivational style - he's encouraging and pushes me when he knows I have a little more in me.

I spent the last 12 weeks enjoying a fun and challenging workout with him, adding a two inches to my chest, and about an inch to each thigh.
