However, the radiologists and sonographers have always been very friendly and warm. They don't make you feel less than and take care of you. The wait for your appointment can vary. I always get there 15 minutes early and have all paperwork pre-filled before my appointment, and most of the time you will wait around thirty, forty-five, or even nearly an hour before you are seen. For example, my appointment was yesterday at 9:00 AM. I got there around 8:45 AM. I was not seen until 10:20 AM.

Simon Med had been in possession of her referral for weeks, so we expected everything to be in order before arriving for the appointment. We waited for an hour without being called. I finally went to the front desk to ask why my wife had not been seen. The front desk staff member told me that they were running behind and that my wife would be called shortly. We waited another hour, and I went back to the front desk again. At that point, I told them that if my wife could not be seen, we would have to leave because she is a diabetic and did not have anything to eat. Shortly afterward, my wife was finally called to the back, only to be told by a staff member that Simon Med did not have the equipment necessary to perform the procedure she was referred for. We waited two hours only to be told that the procedure could not be performed. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!! If Simon Med had reviewed the referral beforehand and determined that the necessary equipment was not available at this location, someone should have contacted us and told us not to come in. Instead, we spent two hours waiting unnecessarily, despite the fact we are in our 90's and getting around is not easy for us. This was a tremendous waste of our time and extremely frustrating. Patients deserve better communication, organization, and consideration. I expect Simon Med to take responsibility for what happened and explain why we were allowed to come in for an appointment when the facility could not perform the procedure in the first place. We will never go back to this facility again.

They use both first and last name when calling patients back. It doesn't matter how great the X-ray techs may be, because of the HIPPA issue. Two staff both doing it? It's clear this is this process here. Not okay!!! There is no scenario in which this is acceptable.

When you need to get an mri or ct scan the last thing you want to do is wait days before you can get in. Not here, they were able to get everything cleared by my insurance company before I even got there. I had an MRI done at this facility and was given a copy of the images upon request with a promise…read morethat the doctor would be receiving all the info he required; Images and the correlating report. I came to find out that the report that was written up to accompany the images didn't match. I have Endometriosis, but the written report came back completely clear and normal, which is an impossibility because I have several large cysts that need to be removed. I also found out my doctor only received the written report and no images. I told him I had the cd and he looked at it and confirmed the images were mine, but the report just doesn't match. Now, I am not a rich woman and I have been going through hell since getting my diagnosis, having to do test after test, doctor after doctor. I wasn't happy when I was told I had to get an MRI, especially when I learned it would cost me $425. I paid the money through my HSA and the money has been taken out, but I am still getting harassing phone calls from the billing department saying they never got paid. I've told them several times I have paid it, but now I'm even more pissed because I paid a huge amount of money for something they screwed up in the first place. I was scheduled for surgery Thursday July 25, 2019 to remove my cysts, however the surgery was cancelled because I didn't have the proper report to go with the MRI and the doctor didn't feel comfortable to do the surgery. So, once again I am stuck in debilitating pain waiting in limbo to find out what my next move is. My biggest concern is that someone else is out there with my report under their name probably freaking out thinking they have an illness they don't even have. This facility totally dropped the ball on this one and should be looking forward to a malpractice suit.

During the appointments we felt safe and comfortable with the care team we were working with. They explained everything to us and made sure we always were understanding of what was happening. The waiting area is also very pleasant and provides a spacious place for you to wait. I didn't feel crammed in which I appreciated. We have had a great experience so far using this facility for outpatient services and plan to continue to do so in the future!

However, after today I am impressed! Making an appointment is very easy to do online. It doesn't take long and the step by step process is seamless. On top of that, the check in process is even easier! You simply can check in from your phone or check in using the touch screen service bar once you get inside. I probably sat in the waiting room for a total of three minutes before I was called back to do my blood work. On top of that, the place is very clean. The employees seem very friendly and straightforward on their job. I wasn't even in the facility for more then twenty minutes. The in and out was a breeze!
