On top of that, other locations were too far or did not have appointments until early August. Eventually I found this location on my own. I made an appointment over the phone, which was very simple and straightforward. I had a 9:20 AM appointment and was instructed to come in 15 minutes early. I got there around 8:50 AM, checked in, paid my co-pay, and filled out some paperwork. The front staff was very lovely and chatty. After I finished the paperwork, I waited for my turn. Around 9:17 AM, I was called back. The nurse explained the entire protocol, and I was in the machine by 9:20. I finished around 10:15 AM. They got me in and out in a flash! I also want to give major props to the two nurses that were with me during my MRI. They were so friendly, kind, empathic, and caring. They ensured I was good during the whole process and were very comforting. I would recommend this place over the standard Advent Health or Simon Med. They were much better with time management, and their staff was much friendlier. On top of all this, I got my results the same day, late that evening. That's insane!

All the employees have treated me well and listen to anything I had to tell them. On this latest experience, I got my oldest for an MRI and we arrived a bit early. We signed in and waited for them to call them, and went through the check-in process. Then we just had to wait for them to be called in. The whole test was done in a very short period of time. We requested a copy of the disc for the MRI and only waited about five minutes to receive the disc. They have two locations just up the road from each other and when you make the appointment they let you know which one you have to go to. There is ample parking at both of them.

However, the radiologists and sonographers have always been very friendly and warm. They don't make you feel less than and take care of you. The wait for your appointment can vary. I always get there 15 minutes early and have all paperwork pre-filled before my appointment, and most of the time you will wait around thirty, forty-five, or even nearly an hour before you are seen. For example, my appointment was yesterday at 9:00 AM. I got there around 8:45 AM. I was not seen until 10:20 AM.

On the day of the appointment I arrived 20 minutes early and got an email asking to "click here" to checkin. Then I had to check in again at the front desk and given the paper forms to fill out which are exact the same forms that I filled out online couple days earlier. After I return the forms to the lady and was told to seat and wait. One hour later my name was called and asked did I sign in and where were the forms. At this time I was like you must be kidding me. I was told that because I didn't sign in that why they miss me even though I had went through all the check-ins. This is bad procedure bad service in my opinion.

I ended up having to return the next day once the insurance situation was handled. The office was great in dealing with the insurance company. They got the results to my doctor in rapid time. This I know people would question being able to get in the same day but, I think that is amazing. When you need to get an mri or ct scan the last thing you want to do is wait days before you can get in. I had an MRI done at this facility and was given a copy of the images upon request with a promise…read morethat the doctor would be receiving all the info he required; Images and the correlating report. I came to find out that the report that was written up to accompany the images didn't match. I have Endometriosis, but the written report came back completely clear and normal, which is an impossibility because I have several large cysts that need to be removed. I also found out my doctor only received the written report and no images. I told him I had the cd and he looked at it and confirmed the images were mine, but the report just doesn't match. Now, I am not a rich woman and I have been going through hell since getting my diagnosis, having to do test after test, doctor after doctor. I wasn't happy when I was told I had to get an MRI, especially when I learned it would cost me $425. I paid the money through my HSA and the money has been taken out, but I am still getting harassing phone calls from the billing department saying they never got paid. I've told them several times I have paid it, but now I'm even more pissed because I paid a huge amount of money for something they screwed up in the first place. I was scheduled for surgery Thursday July 25, 2019 to remove my cysts, however the surgery was cancelled because I didn't have the proper report to go with the MRI and the doctor didn't feel comfortable to do the surgery. So, once again I am stuck in debilitating pain waiting in limbo to find out what my next move is. My biggest concern is that someone else is out there with my report under their name probably freaking out thinking they have an illness they don't even have. This facility totally dropped the ball on this one and should be looking forward to a malpractice suit.
