In fact, I have been to another pizzeria not too far from this one that does slices (and overall better job) compared to this one. That is not to suggest the pizza is terrible, or lackluster. It is not. The pizza is supremely adequate for what you are offered, even though I did get sticker shock from some of the things they offer. Maybe that is why they are located near the cemetery, just in case (kidding). I first tried the meatballs, you get two to an order with a side of two pieces of Italian bread. Smart move. That allowed me to enjoy the burrata and red sauce it comes with after eating the meatballs. The meatballs are softball sized, and have plenty of flavor. They do not fall apart easily, and the sauce is nice and mellow, with a slight acid taste to it. Then came the pizza. I ordered two, a red (Classic New Yorker) and a white (Quattro Formaggi). Both pies come out piping hot, which means the pizza is still cooking as it stays on the pan. I made a mistake by eating one too fast and it all fell apart in my hand. Once it cooled, I took the time to enjoy as much of both pies as I could. The red pie has a nice crispy crust, and a good salty cheese. Unfortunately the sauce is a bit too sweet and a large part of the crust is overcooked, so I could not eat that part. It is solid but with no wow factor. The white pie has an overpowering Gorgonzola flavor. It overtakes the rest of the pie, which is unfortunate because it has show much potential when the Gorgonzola takes a back seat. It also was a bit messy as each bite had some overcooked cheese on my hand. This one was not overcooked, but to balance out the saltiness of the cheeses, I suggest something like green apples, or even figs to make it a more balanced pie. Only be careful because too much can tilt the balance of power, something you do not want to do. I also felt the service was adequate, as the wait staff was cute and amenable. They were definitely working hard. As for the pizza, it belongs in the land of the living, but it needs a little more time to rise and conquer, rather than be buried and become compost alongside the dead. Overall pizza rating: 3.2/5

(It was good) The service was okay, they were nice--possibly could have come over a little bit more during the meal to see if we needed anything. The bread was fresh and crisp and *didn't* scratch the roof of my mouth. If you're in the area definitely worth stopping in for and I hope it sticks around. Our host and server did say it was gonna be around "for the foreseeable future" which sounds promising! Personally the #2 (roast pork) was just ok, not really worth the extra $1.25 compared to the #1. Pho can also be skipped - lacked flavor and portion is quite small. It's what you'd expect for the area. They even have Viet iced coffee ($5) but it's not as strong and concentrated as it's supposed to be.
