New Italian restaurant on Cortelyou! Bring all your friends, it's a big space with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and attentive. There are plenty of vegetarian options, including a decadent basil pesto gnocchi. The menu lists wines, including a few alcohol free ones, and they also have sodas (strangely not on the menu). Prices consistent with neighboring restaurants. Accessible restroom.

A new Italian spot on cortleyou has opened and we have been needing one for a while. Ordered the arancini and the fusilli pasta in the creamy tomato sauce with sausage. The arancini was enough to be a meal you get to giant rice balls. The pasta itself was tasty and the sauce was not too overwhelming. The service from the bar staff was great as I was sat at the bar

    $61

Ordered from here on Grubhub however it seems I am unable to write a review. Prices/serving size/quality does not at all match. This is $61 worth of food before the service fee and tip. The cheesecake in the picture is $11.70. The gnocchi with pesto was swimming in oil, topped with old basil, and was too salty even after draining the oil ($22) I really like supporting local restaurants in my neighborhood and am really disappointed. I hope they work on the quality!

    Tuscan shrimp dish

Either improve the quality of the food, or lower the prices. My Tuscan shrimp dish was not worth $28, as it had very small shrimp hidden under a lot of spinach. Perhaps pasta dishes are better? Non alcoholic wine on the menu but not available. Was very warm and quiet, too quiet on a Saturday night. I hope they can make some positive changes.

    Spaghetti alle Vongole

This was our second time here since they opened. When we came when they first opened it was packed and service was a bit slow since they were overwhelmed. I got the rigatoni gricia which was great and my husband the chicken parm. Tonight was our second visit a few months later and it was empty. Maybe it was the time of day, Wednesday 7:30. However, the food was fantastic. I had spaghetti and clams and my husband the steak. My pasta was fresh, generous amount of clams. My husbands steak was delicious as well. It had a nice rosemary crust and the potatoes he loved. We then shared a cheesecake for dessert. The manager or owner checked on us a few times and was very nice. The outdoor garden area was very nice too. We will be back!

Everything was great! We started with the Ricotta crostini and Caesar salad. For our mains we had shrimp scampi and tagliatelle funghi. The flavor on both were delicious! Service was great. Will Definitely be back....our new favorite local spot!

Friendly staff and tasty food. Still getting its legs but promising new addition to Cortelyou Road.

Instead according to their Instagram post, this is a separate store that's open when after the cafe is closed. And instead of just coffee, they serve alcoholic beverages and food. So I had to stroll through. The decor and aesthetic is very colorful and lively. In fact, I believe this place is bigger than the cafe off the train station so it had more seating indoors that serves slightly larger groups. The bar is just across the street from the original so you don't have to walk too far. The menu was accesible by QR code and the person in control of the bar was nice and was willing to answer any question I had. They had drinks on tap including non beer options. I had a quick cider which was very refreshing. They also had wine options too which is a great addition to the neighborhood. That particular night I wasn't looking for food. But a quick glance in the menu showed options like charcuterie and burgers. I would definitely have a causal date night or a quick chat amongst friends here.

Everything on the menu looked amazing, so I had the waiter choose my dish/wine pairing and he did a great job! I got the pesto with shrimp. The pasta is handmade and the wine is natural from Italy. The pesto is made the day of in the morning. All fresh ingredients. They have indoor seating and then more seating in the back that is the perfect spot. I love the exposed brick wall. This might be my new favorite Italian spot. I will be back soon! Thank you for the amazing experience.

Instead of picking a wine from a menu, you tell your server the flavor and mood of wine you're looking for and they bring out glasses or a bottle for you based on that. The food here is delicious and I was happy to see gluten free pasta options. The pork ragu was good but I was truly impressed by how good the texture of the gluten free pasta was. For me, the show stopper was the branzino. It was seasoned perfectly and the potato crust was a fun touch. The salad was nice and simple, but didn't blow me away. Portion sizes were good, though the prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is a great place for a friends' night or date night, and I'd keep the group small or make a reservation in advanced because it gets busy. It is definitely a more expensive spot, but worth it!

My husband LOVED the burek, but then they totally changed it and now it's just gone. The food is still delicious, but unpredictable of what we can / will order. The new space is beautiful and open and airy, but sadly the service has dipped. This place used to be almost too fast, we were in and out and we consistently knew we could come here and get out in a very timely manner. But now I literally had to flag down our waitress and I still didn't get her attention, another waitress came over to help us get our check. We also didn't get checked on at all, luckily our food was good and right. The table next to us didn't get greeted for water or anything so they had to flag down the guy delivering food to get a waitress. I thinkkk it may be because the wait staff is servicing here and the location next store but it's really impacted the experience. Totally understand that a lot of places are understaffed, but we've never experienced this before Miriam we love you, but pleaseeeeee stop changing the menu.

What I didn't expect was to have a perfect experience as the one I did. Let's start with the decor and ambience. The minute you step inside you feel like you are in Italy. The walls are white with exposed brick. The lighting is perfect and lends itself to a romantic night if that was your attention. There is a beautiful long bar, it's a neighbor restaurant with Italian being spoken by many. The entire staff are well schooled in making the customers experience a great one. They are professional, courteous, friendly, genuine and truly give of themselves to make you feel comfortable. I don't think they receive as many reviews as they should because they have so many repeat customers who are just accustomed to the great service and food. So let's talk about the food, they have an extensive menu. From their bar, wine selection, appetizers, entrees, deserts, pizzas, specials and more. Everything Italy and Italian comfort food in an AWESOME way. Pasquale who is one of the managers is from Italy, and brings his passion to everyone he meets. He just "gets it" when it comes to customer service and making each customer feel like they are a celebrity. Pasquale, will guide you, made great suggestions and there is no rush to your meal even though they were very busy. Everyone we interacted with was great and they work together as a team like a well oiled machine. We had a few drinks which included a few Aperol Spritz and a Malibu rum and pineapple. For appetizers we had the Insalata Di Barbaietole (beet salad), Clams Oreganata, and Calamari. Everything was delicious, good size portions and well presented. For entrees we had the Pesce Spada Alla Griglia (swordfish) and fennel salad, Funghi Risotto and the Grigliata Del Gofo ( mixed grilled salmon, branzino, asparagus and roasted potatoes, and the Shrimp Scampi. For desert we had the warm chocolate cake with gelato, and a home made gelato. We ended the night with the best Limoncello I have ever tasted. Great prices, valet parking, awesome menu, food served at a perfect temperature. I cannot believe I never came here before. I highly recommend them for lunch, dinner or a special occasion. I will definitely be back soon!
