I literally try to go once a week. It's like my stomach knows when do not go and I start to crave my chicken over rice. For $9 and a short wait, I received a tray, packed with chicken over rice, covered in this white sauce with a pinch of the hot sauce, with soggy pita and lettuce mixed all together! And yes this works. It's delicious! So much food in that tray, I can eat lunch as well! Great food, friendly and quick service, outstanding barg for a food truck. read more

ONE OF THE BEST FOOD TRUCKS AROUND! The food is always: "hot and ready" My husband and I have been coming here since 2020. This place never disappoints. Always parked in-front of the gas station makes it easy to see from the street when he is open. All his items are temp controlled he keeps his food in the fridge in the store and anything non-perishable extra he carries in his van. He has never run out of food. He always has some kind of sale going on, most of his plates are only $10 regular price. IMO anything cheaper these days is a blessing. We really enjoy the flavors some are hotter then others as well. The chopli chicken patti by itself is tasty, I like it with salad or rice. The chick pea (chana bowl) has a little kick! we tend to drain some of the liquid and place it on rice. We have had the beef and lamb gyros. The butter chicken is good too! Some of his items are spicier than others. Make sure you do your research on what you cannot eat and be specific if you want any sauces on the side. All are pretty tasty one may be a little hotter than the other but you don't know unless you try. The white is neutral like spicy ranch, the red has a little kick like hot sauce, the green has a creamy yogurt and coriander with a little heat. read more

Anytime I am in High Point I drive by the gas station to see if this food truck is open......even if I have already eaten. I always need to take some home and a LARGE container of their rice pudding! Located on N. Main Street in the parking lot of a Mobil Gas Station, you can see this Orange truck from the street. Every dish on his menu is pictured on the truck and I can say I have tried half of them and never been disappointed. Whether it's chicken, lamb, gyro, everything is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The last touch is their homemade sauces and you can ask for none, a little or extra. The flavors of the proteins mixed with their rice is just amazing. And DO NOT leave without getting some of their velvety, smooth rice pudding with a hint of cinnamon.......OMG.....I thought my Latino family made the best, well I was wrong! The owner is polite and service is quick. Some people will eat in their cars. He use to have two tables by the truck but I have not seen them lately. It is a gas station and you will see some weirdos around at times but there are always customers around as he is very busy with orders. If you're around or after a baseball or soccer game, stop by. Highly recommended. The portion and taste are worth the price! This food truck is incredible! And a delicious hidden gem right in High Point. I've been here twice, getting the Lamb over Rice and then Lamb/Chicken over Rice and both visits have left me satisfied! On my first visit I didn't get their white sauce but on the second visit I did. It's pretty good, it's a light boost in flavor and it's not trying to take over the dish which I appreciate. They also have a red sauce that I didn't get to try yet. And you get a very good amount of food for the price you pay. The gentleman in the food truck is easy to work with. He answered any questions I had and gave me a menu to keep so I can look it over for my next visit. His cooking is fast and efficient. He's located in a gas station's parking lot, gives the place a nice heart of a busy city feel to it! read more

I think i found a hidden gem! This unassuming food truck at the mobil has station hit the right spot with me from the get go. Stopped by one night when we were hungry and wanted something quick cheap and delicious and this was on our way and was PERFECT! It is a typical halal cart with basic chicken lamb and falafel dishes in gyro platter or kabab form. The service was pretty quick, i ordered and left un 6 mins. The owner was pretty nice, he spoke hindi so i hit it off with him right away. He suggested the food i got and i loved it. The hot sauce was delicious (actually hot) with whote sauce toppings. I must have driven past this food truck a hundred times before I finally paid it a visit. It was enough to make me wish I had stopped much sooner. Al-Falah offers a combination of Pakistani (chapli kabobs, chicken tikka, samosas), Middle Eastern/Mediterranean (gyros), and American (hot dogs and cheesesteaks) sandwiches and entrees, all made fresh to order. Expect a ten or so minute wait. Prices aren't posted, but my chapli kabob over rice came out to $10. It ended up being quite a bit of food for the money, and while not quite on-par with the best Middle Eastern or South Asian in the area, it was still very tasty. The meat was well-seasoned and the white sauce made for a nice complement. If offered spicy sauce, be forewarned that it lives up to its name. If you made my mistake of passing Al-Falah by without a second thought, let a gyro or kabab be your penance. You won't regret it. read more

This is my second time here, and both times, ordered the chicken over rice. Today was a little off, the chicken was a little burnt and the rice just wasn't fresh. It was still good, but not as great as the first time I visited. I think this is due to the busyness of the food truck. Today (Thursday afternoon) the food truck didn't have much traffic while the first time I visited (on the weekend), it was quit busy. While your wait time might be extended, it could be a great idea to go on a busier day! read more

When a food truck is permanently set up at a gas station, it has to be good and Al Falah is very, very good. While it is not the best Middle Eastern food in High Point, it is consistent, fresh, and reasonably priced. Be prepared - the hot sauce and the white sauce can ruin a shirt - but it's worth it. I ordered the "Falafel Gyro" since the rice is made with chicken stock. The sandwich is outstanding and the veggies and sauce on the pita is great. Each dish is made fresh and you will have to wait. Credit cards are accepted as is cash. Another great choice in High Point. read more

Al-Falah Kabab & Gyro was parked at the Speedway at 3010 N. Main Street in High Point last week when I stopped by for lunch. I don't know if that is there regular spot or not as it was my first time there. I ordered the lamb gyro and fries. He said "ten minutes," and that made me happy, because I knew the food was going to be fresh and hot! I was not disappointed with the lamb gyro. The fires were so so, and I wouldn't get them again, but the lamb gyro was flavorful and plentiful, two things I love. I would have liked to see some prices on the outside where the dishes are listed, or at least a chalkboard with prices. The lamb gyro and fries cost me $11, and that's not bad with the way prices are today. I highly recommend dropping by when you see their bright orange truck. Totally worth it. read more

I tried a lamb gyro and fries during my first week in High Point. It was ok, but nothing special. The gyro and fries came out extremely hot, I had to wait a while before I could eat them. The fries has seasoning salt on them and were tasty. The gyro was so hot it wilted the lettuce and tomato. I could barely taste the tzatziki sauce. Al-Falah Kabab & Gyro serves up some of the most delicious food in the Triad. It's a modest Halal food truck that's always parked at the Marathon gas station on Main St. across from Emerywood Court Condos. The gentleman that runs it is awesome, fast and charges less than he should considering the quality and quantity of the food. I've had the gyro (both lamb and chicken), the Chapli Kabob, Falafel, and Chicken over rice. Everything has been stupendous and he literally fills up the to-go container. The sauces are so good, but ask for them on the side if you aren't sure because he loads it up. I really want to try the Fish over Rice at my next visit. The prices range from $5 - $7. Y'all...that's ludicrous! You can call in your order and then go pick it up. Your food will be ready in no less than 15 minutes, but typically 10 or less. This place is a gem in High Point. It's one of my favorite places to eat despite being a food truck. This is quality food that you could get at a good restaurant. The portions are great and the prices are good but most importantly the flavor and taste are delicious! The sauces are special too! Home cooked food that is similar to Indian food. I stopped for my first time today and was more than impressed. My gyro came out hotter than the surface of the sun, but that didn't stop me from eating it in a quick succession of bites. I had both their regular sauce and their hot sauce on the gyro and realized immediately my life was changed. Definitely recommend and looking forward to going back. read more

There is a good amount of meat distributed throughout the bowl it comes in. It was pretty pricey, but honestly, the flavor was just WOW. The brisket was honest to god smoked and delicious, the combination of cheeses they are using lends itself to the full spectrum of cheese flavors. From sharp, to creamy and nutty, to mild and smooth. The bowl is enough to share with a second person, finishing one on your own is absolutely possible, but you will be very full and calorie-rich if you were to do it. On top of that, love the friendly good vibes coming out of this truck. Chef Breeze and his crew don't seem like they could be happier doing anything else.
