On February 13th 2026, I contacted Al-Flex Terminator @ 1-305-552-0141 to have my mom's home tented. I was called by Renato Fantini at 1-305-343-2670 to set up a date and time. The date would be Monday 16th, 2026. I gave a 50% deposit with my credit card $795.00. I was traveling from Central Florida to pick my mom which had recently spent 5 days in the hospital after a bad fall. By the time I arrived at her home she was not feeling well, EMS was called she was taken back to the hospital to be once again admitted to be revaluated and observed; she is 88 years old. At that time, I called the representative Renato Fantini, he said; send him an email explaining this, which I did, and I also sent it to the company at pc@al-flex.com. I called Saturday and spoke to Jessica at the office, and she said she received the email and will give it to the owner on Monday. I called on Monday and spoke to Al junior, owner. I explained the situation and he said; well, you needed to give them 24 hours business days, he also stated he was sending the truck to my mom's house. I said OMG you can't do this, she is in bed now and sick, she came out of the hospital. He said, I will send the truck and take pictures of the truck at your mom for evidence that we were there. I am extremely upset. He took the money and disregarded an elderly senior being in the hospital. At no point did the company perform any tenting services. The cancellation was a result solely from an unforeseen medical emergency involving an elderly citizen. I acted prompt in good faith by notifying the company. The company's position that "two days' notice" was not provided fails to reasonably account for the fact that this was an emergency. I canceled within hours of signing the contract. I provided Friday, Saturday and Sunday and called on Monday. Hospitalization is not voluntary. My 88-year-old mother has been in and out of the hospital. She is ill; and unfortunately, we are in the process of selling. read more

Tania came to my building and did an excellent inspection. She was beyond professional and provided everything in detail. Great customer service, she really went above and beyond. Now, here is the problem. The day prior to my service being performed I was called by their office. The girl that called me, I believer her name was Valerie, was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. She gave me the time in which the team would be at my building, between 8-10. I had told her that in speaking with Tania that the service would need to be provided after 10 a.m. Well this didnt sit to well with Valerie the secretary. She must have had a short circuit go off because she kept rambling that "We dont guarantee times" she must of told me this at least 7 times, even after I explained to her that I was told any time after 10 was fine. I guess she didnt want to hear it and then proceeded to threaten me by saying that I was going to lose my deposit. She is extremely arrogant and unprofessional. She is definitely not a person who should be attending the phones. The services came out fine but unfortunately this encounter with this entitled secretary left a bad taste. read more

I reached out to Al-Flex to have my house tented as they are a common and familiar name is South Florida. Termites are gone however subcontractors left behind damage. Came home to find water mains turned off, and reopening mains heard water leak behind shed. Water pipe had been broken and they simply turned off the mains and left as is. No notice. Subcontractors also went ahead and cut ATT internet fiber line which also had to be repaired with service charge. Also received huge water bill, appears water pipe had been leaking during tenting time and was only turned off when they removed tent. Reached out to Al Flex with follow up emails no response. All costs of repairs including plumbing, ATT service and water bill had to be covered by me. I understand this is subcontracted work but somebody needs to be accountable. read more

Beware! After agreeing to re-treat my single family home under warranty, I ended up with a $4000. estimate to repair over 200 broken roof tiles. A couple of years after treatment the rain gutter on the west side of the house started backing up. We later found a metal tent clip and globs of duct tape stuffed in the downspout. Trying to speak with someone at the office is impossible. Best to stay away. read more

I'm going to recommend none of you ever use Al-Flex Exterminators in Miami. After paying a termite bond for five years, they won't honor my guarantee now that I need it because they couldn't find a record that I paid for it. (I was able to find payments for two of my three payments; they couldn't find any until I showed them.) I hired them to tent my house five years ago for more than $3,000 then paid an annual bond of more than $180, religiously. I had proof of every payment I made in the last five years except one of three ($61 each) I made last year. (Again, they couldn't find any record until I showed them canceled checks they cashed for two of them.) So for $61 they can't find, they won't honor the nearly $1,000 I paid total in the last five years -- not even counting what they charged in their original tenting when I bought my home. STAY FAR AWAY! The entire process was a nightmare. I just moved to Miami, and I have had two other homes that were tented and both went off without a hitch. This was horrible and then just got worse. * INEFFECTIVE/WASTE OF MONEY - they already tented my house and did not do it correctly, so less than 5 years later there were active termites. I had this confirmed by 3 other companies. * NON RESPONSIVE AND RUDE - they did not want to do the warranty work so they gave me the run around, passing me off from one person to the other, and then telling me, "oh that's not my job" and then just dropping the ball. This went on for months. They would say one thing and then when the dates rolled around say another. Alfredo is their point man and his voicemail is always full and he never answers. * NO SHOW - Stephanie scheduled me for a tenting then never put it on the calendar. I just moved here and had nowhere to stay, so I had arranged a flight out of town and hotel. Lots of extra expense for me and a waste of effort. They weren't even apologetic. Clara Jimenez made it seem like it was my fault, and I should have known she was the scheduling person. How would I know??? I had even contacted Alfredo, but he could have cared less. Apparently they fired Stephanie. * LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES - They lied at first about it needing to be re-tented first saying yes, and then Clara said no. I had companies come out and inspect, and yes there were active termites. Then Alfredo came by and he was the vision of a con artist. I had other companies inspect with their equipment and they showed the heat and methane gas signatures of the termites in the wall. They agreed to tent but did nothing to follow up. I finally got a date, but it was a lie. They lied about me not needing to be present. They lied about having Alfredo collect the keys. They lied about how long the house would be under the tent, and more and more. * LOTS OF DAMAGAE - when they finally tented the house they were not careful at all. They wrapped my shrubs into the tent, when they could have easily left them out (they were all killed). They broke tiles on my roof and damaged my gutters. They broke my fence and an area of my deck leaving them in a dangerous state. Then all of my refrigerated/frozen food had to be thrown away because they did not wait until using the gas to turn off the power, and they failed to simply turn back on the power when they left. The sales person came to give me an estimate on renting my house and when he gave me the measurements of my home I knew he was either trying to cheat me or clearly didn't k ow what he was doing. He ended up measuring g my house a thousand square feet more than the first two company quotes and the was he was $1500 more on the price because he measured incorrectly. They are disorganized. No communication between their teams. They make you sign a waiver that they are not liable for roof tiles. However, the customer should know how many tiles they break. I requested that information from the beginning and I was assured I would get it. But i didn't as they never bother to count. Al Flex recently tented my house, and while it has been bug free and nothing was taken (admit it, we've all heard the horror stories) I have to leave them a 2 star rating. They tented on a Thursday, took the tent off on Friday, and according to the document they gave us should have left the windows open to ventilate the house until we returned. I stayed out of the house until Sunday morning, driving back to find the windows firmly shut and with a slight hint of chemical smell upon opening the door. By Sunday evening, I had a sore throat and have been with sinus symptoms and getting treatment since Wednesday when I stopped trying to resolve them with home and over the counter remedies. If you use this company to tent your house, please emphasize that they properly ventilate the house before you return home. read more

First time I tented my house with the bad luck to choose AL-FLEX. These were the most careless and lazy people that I have had the misfortune to meet. They were in such a hurry that they didn't even bother to keep close to the exterior walls of my house, choosing instead to cover the trees and the plants. You know when you find mice droppings in your office, it's time to call an exterminator. We called Al-Flex Exterminators for our little furry problem. The tech that came out was very professional, knowledgeable and funny. He walked the entire property with us and provided a few solutions. They are lucky to get one star as they do not even deserve that. We had used them recently to tent our house, and while the sales rep was great, everything else was completely awful. From the lack of professionalism and respect for time windows, the inability to reach a person to get our keys back for our tenant to have access to their house after the tenting was complete, and the endless debris left behind (Duct tape wads everywhere, about 15 clamps), to the lack of a phone call back even after I drove to their office on two occasions requesting to speak to a manger or owner, and I am still waiting for a call back. My husband and I recently moved, the home had termites, we called a lot of companies in the area, but decided to go with Al-Flex due to their commitment in working with us, their professionalism and the knowledge that they have. Be careful when you sign the contract, it states as follows: "In the event that this service agreement is cancelled by the customer prior to its expiration date, and if such cancellation is due to any other reason other than proven AL-FLEX failure to perform its obligation under this agreement, customer agrees to pay AL-FLEX 50% of the remaining balance for the yearly agreement as liquidating damages." Of course, it is never their fault and it is very hard to prove that they failed to perform their obligations. So even if they did a terrible job, cancelled appointments, or what ever other reason, you will end up paying 50% of the remaining balance of service without the service. They will hound you constantly... It is highway robbery!!! read more

My landlord requested fumigation of the building. During that fumigation two units out of four were vandalized and burglarized. I contacted Al Flex for the copy of the contract and copy of the insurance. They didn't respond to me and never gave me copies. If they are in business of termite fumigation they KNOW house WILL BE BURGLARIZED, however, "they are never liable". They request to leave WINDOWS OPEN and GIVE THE KEYS, and cover the building with the tarp, which is a sign that the building is empty for two nights. Burglary is the logical consequence of the tented house. Nevertheless, they don't care about the safety of their customers. They should mandatory include the cost of security guards into the service. Now, i live in NY so I already had in mind that I would scrutinize the daylights out of the contract since I couldn't be present. (We all know that people in the building industry can be quite shad, be it a roofer, contractor etc). To my surprise, their representative Paul was great! He answered ALL of my questions, allowed me to kick back his contract offer with my questions and made the process a rather pleasant one to come to an agreement. The day came that they had to tent "the rents'" house. My parents left for the weekend and came back--everything in tact, nothing damaged and most importantly, bug-free. My community used All flex exterminator. Since living here they have tented pur building 4times, an average of every 6 to 7 years. All they day is that food or medicine left behind will be thrown out and plants must be kept 36 inches away from building. The product used for extermination explains on website explains in detail what is safe to stay food wise and also explains and sells bags specifically made to store left behind food and medicines. Before leaving KY home I showed one of their employees and questioned distance for patio plants to be safe, he even helped me move my barbecue grill. Needles to say the tent was placed over all of both and back patio, killing all plants. Thank you Alford for destroying my deceased mother,s orchids the she grew for over 20 years including many other orchids the she grew. GREAT JOB. read more

I am so disappointed with this. Company. Alex who came to my house is amazing. We scheduled our tenting agreed to the terms. Upon our arrival back to our house. My backyard looked like a burr hit it, some piles is resudue whatever poison they use piled in 2!places, ripped off tarp/tent material all over my backyard snd my pool. Clamps they use to hold the tent in place in my pool all over the backyard. Remnants everywhere. Not to mention the clamps at least 7 I pulled out 2 were rusted snd now stained my pool. My new pool that I just replaster Ed the month before. Of course I sent a text to Alex with pictures no response. I called the company no response, I called Alex again. He apologized said this is the busy season and that he was going back to the office to speaks to office manager. Did I mention they had all my garden hoses everywhere didn't put them back!!!!! The worse experience ever. On June 6th 2018. This is what happened to me when I contracted All-Flex Exterminators to control a termites problem. I purchased the house on March and on May I signed a contract with this company. On May 6th in the installation of the tent the electrical pole fell due to the weight of the tent and because it was not properly attached to the wall. What happened: Al-Flex Exterminator don not call me to inform the incident, I called the company and few hours later they called. The conversation was based on was not their fault ( which is true) but they are not going to take any percentage of responsibility on the repair, not ever help me to cover the damage. Also the General manage has the courage to wake to ask to me neighbor if I can use an electric extension to complete the job. This gentleman did not has any sympathy for my situation, only to finish the job. On the contract is stated that I am responsable of the condition of the house but they never noticed, as "professionals" that the house has a risk of fire that may put in risk the workers and the property. They do not have a simple assessment to check if the can proceed safely or not. They just went to install the tent and that's it. Professional, hmmm??? Questionable. The Reimburse of the deposit was denied couple of times and I had to paid $875.00 to repair the pole. My house key never was returned. Under your discretion to contract this company. I noticed some wood next to the rain gutters that looked like it had been eaten by termites and I immediately started to get quotes to tent the house . I picked the most expensive company because of the years experience that Alflex claimed to have . This has been the worst experience I have had with regards to home repairs . They broke over 150 tiles on the roof and most of my rain gutters were damaged by their work crew while in the process of placing the tent and removing the tent . It seems that since they are not liable for broken tile they have a permit to work carelessly and negligently. One of the men was told by the crew supervisors not to drag the tents as he was removing them to which the man answered , I"ll do this as I please. II asked the sales man to please have the general manger whom is the owner , Alexander Napoles give me a call . I never heard from Mr Napoles Jr . I'm still waiting for his call .
