Friendly service in a clean, organized space, but a bit pricey. They carry a variety of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream whose flavors range from normal to creative; think birthday cake to a bourbon spiked espresso. I was happy to see they offered a flight so there were less tough decisions that had to be made; I was not so happy about the price, which if I recall correctly was $12. But, hey, I was on vacation so I went for it any way. I chose the lemon blackberry bar, exhausted parent (bourbon spiked espresso with chocolate chunks), fat elvis (banana with peanut butter ripple and chocolate chips) and heaps of love (vanilla filled with oreos, brownies, cookie dough, pecans, caramel and chocolate ripple). I very much enjoyed them all with heaps of love being my favorite. I liked that they use wooden spoons rather than plastic. read more

This was a family-owned spot that migrated from Wisconsin. They had a number of unique flavors along with a few classics as well. The service was friendly and patient. I had a small cup of the Praline Pecan. It was creamy and very good. I liked the little pecan pieces that was incorporated into this. It tasted exactly like a praline. I also tried the blackberry lemon bar and This $&@! Just Got Serious. The blackberry lemon bar was lemon ice cream with pound cake pieces and swirls of blackberry sauce. This was probably my favorite flavor tried. I really liked the combination of flavors here and the cake pieces were not too big where a lot of chewing had to be done. The Just Got Serious flavor was salted caramel ice cream with sea salt fudge and salted cashews. This was alright. I did not have a lot so maybe I did not get the whole extent of it, but not bad, decent flavors. Will I go back? Yes. read more

After much deliberation and a few samples spoons, we went with This$@!Just got serious, and pistachio , and an award winner ( peanut butter cookie dough, can't remember the name) The ice cream is gourmet quality, made from high quality ingredients, shipped from Wisconsin. So creamy and flavorful! All of the recipes have fresh ingredients, and are generously blended into the ice cream- making your taste buds sing!
