I spoke with Gloria P. She was very friendly, professional and got the job done in a faster than I thought possible. HOWEVER, she didn't tell me that the $2,500.00 I was putting up to get my son released was their fee. I know it's in the paperwork, but she called me back twice...two times after I got off the phone with her nudging me to hurry. So I just skimmed through digit papers on my phone (that needed to be zoomed in and scroled through; up, down, left to right to get the whole page in small pieces.) really quick, thinking I understood the process. When I actually was completely clueless. My son had court in 4 days. I would never have flushed $2,500.00 down the toilet to get him released for four days. He would have sat in jail until court. Everyone I have talked to has said the exact same thing. "I thought you got the money back when he went to court." NO ONE I know knew that the money gets kept. NO one. So I know I'm not the only one who has this complaint, unless the other reps are thorough and tell their clients it's a charge, not collateral. Especially when putting up $2,500.00 for four days. Didn't she think that was kinda odd. Even if she thought I knew the process she should have told me to make sure I read the contract through. It's like when downloading an app and you accept to all permissions because you think you already know what it says. I feel completely foolish and conned. When I got the e-documents signed and sent back to Gloria, I called her to speak to her a fourth time to ask how long it would take and she had gone home. So, she WAS rushing me to get done before she left for the day. You have no idea what losing that money does to me right now. I do take responsibility. I should have read the papers completely and thoroughly. But Gloria should have made sure I fully understood the prosses before sending me the docements, rushing me to get them back to her and charging my card. I feel scammed. And like I said, I do take accountability for my part, but isn't a scam when you give your money over to something that isn't actually what you thought you were giving it to? So the two stars are for the fast and friendly. The 3 deducted is for my broken faith in humanity, the terrible financial situation this puts me in, and my embarrassment. I bailed my son out who didn't go to court I turned him in on warrant contacted Aladin let them know he was in king county jail the man proceeded to tell me thank you bond is all taken care of. long story short son went to prison and now I have a bill from a collection agency called Aladin lady said nothing they can do about it so now dealing with collection agency for something my son is in prison for and went to court for. thanks Aladin for horrible customer service and passing the buck because you didn't update your files and not dealing with your mistake of not doing proper paper work to show bond was done and thanks for passing it on to a collection agency for me to deal with after you said it was all good and not to worry read more

Not in favor of their service at all. The guy in the Seattle office was nice to me and the process was smooth as I was trying to bail out my husband who got a DUI last night. The problem occurred when I was noticed that my husband transferred from the KCCF to RJC. I contacted RJC after four hours of paying the bail, and the officer told me that they haven't received the bail bond. I then called the customer service number and the guy was RUDE and care less to explain the situation to me as I had to keep answering how this could happen. The only thing he kept telling me was "not their fault, the district courts messed up with my husbands case number". AND the worst part is that since only one guy in the office, there is no way for u to get in touch with him while he's gone. Finally, I am giving Aladdin three stars instead of one because they called me on the next day explained everything happened in between. I will give it a five star if they could do that at the first place. read more

So a friend of mine needed me to post bail for him and it was a Friday. He had been told as long as bail was posted by 2 PM he would be able to be released that day. So I went to Aladdin as they assured me they had an office in Seattle and one in Tacoma so I could fill out my paperwork in Seattle and they would get someone in Tacoma to take care of everything right away. I filled out the paperwork and gave them my card and they charged it. I figured at that point that all was said and done. I even was told because I was part of a union and had brought a current paystub showing the union dues being taken I would get a $50 rebate. So that sounded GREAT! The man who helped me was congenial and everything seemed to go through just fine. I sent a text and left a voicemail for my friend asking him to get ahold of me when he was out since he had said he had the money to pay me back in his jeans. So I don't hear back from my friend and on Tuesday I hear from Aladdin because he hasn't been into their Tacoma office to sign the paperwork that they need signed and they are saying he was released that day according to the website. Now remember this is Tuesday and I was told that someone at the Tacoma office would bail him out on FRIDAY so 5 days have passed where my friend was in jail that he should not have been because someone failed to contact the Tacoma bondsman to have him released. I look at the website and see that ACTUALLY it says he is scheduled for release on WEDNESDAY so a full 6 days after i paid and Aladdin is trying to track him down when he hasn't even been released by calling me and telling me that he hasn't come through on his end of the bargain. So he is finally released on Wednesday and goes directly into the Tacoma office and signs their forms. Now the $50 rebate for being a Union member, I was told could take a little time, as we all know money is taken fast and returned slow so I gave them some time. But on 12-29-2016 I still hadn't received it and I am looking at the end of the year thinking that if we cross to 2017 it is going to become an accounting nightmare because they are dealing with two different years. So I call and find out that the person who helped me, in spite of making a copy of my pay stub, failed to put it with the bond paperwork, AND he neglected to have me fill out 2 lines on the paperwork that would allow me to have my rebate. So I have to fax over a new paystub, because the email keeps bouncing, then the fax is never received at the number they gave, then the email finally works, and they have to email me the form, that I need to print, sign, scan, and send back to them, for a refund I am due that is a month late after being 6 days late releasing my friend. ************************ Update 1-5-2017 ********************************* The day after I initially wrote this review, which was 12-29-2016, I was contacted by the manager who had assisted me originally. He apologized and explained all the things that led to the epic breakdown. He did push for the rebate to be sent as soon as possible, but the new year banking holidays delayed that until this morning, so approximately 1 week from when I contacted them. I hope that I never need to bail a friend out of jail again though given the fact that EVERYTHING that could go wrong, literally everything that my friend or myself had no control over went wrong in this instance. My review is based off my multiple encounters with the employee SIMONE. I have dealt with two of their male employees over the phone and feel I received good customer service. The first time I dealt with Simone was over the phone and she was beyond rude. On two different occasions when I have come into their location to fill out paperwork to bail someone out, unfortunately with my luck I got Simone. Never in my life have I ever dealt with someone so rude while they are at work on the clock. I literally cannot believe she gets to be this rude to people while on the clock getting paid! I feel like they can surely find someone else to fill her position that can AT THE VERY LEAST be half as rude as her. Came in to pay $1,000 to bail someone out and got to deal with her pitiful customer service. I feel like she naturally has a rude tone to her voice, but at the same time she still chooses rude words and will make sure to try to make you look stupid. And don't even ask her to not talk to you rudely because then she will raise her voice and try to refuse your service. As I said, I have never dealt with someone so rude before while they are at work. She should not have a job in which she deals with people. I'm being totally serious. If I ever talked to someone like that while I'm at work on the clock at my job, I would be terminated immediately no doubt. But then again, I'm sure my employer takes more pride in customer service than Aladdin does. If you can go through Aladdin without ever dealing with SIMONE, then go for it. You might have a decent experience, as decent as you can get from a bail bonds. But in my opinion it's not worth the risk of dealing with Simone. If I ever go through a bail bondsman again I promise you I will not be going back to Aladdin. There's another bail bonds up the street I'm sure would love my business and as long as they don't have an employee like Simone, I'm happy to bring my business there. I will also be telling any friends to stay away from Aladdin if they ever need a bail bondsman. Worst experience hands down I've ever had from a business. I'm still appalled.
