My son and I went here for a late lunch the other day? My son recommended it but I had never been here. First everyone, but especially our server, was attentive and so nice. It took me a while to go through the menu and make a decision. My son said that we had to get their Hummus along with veggies. They make the hummus in house. Best hummus I have ever had. So yummy! They were so fast with their food prep. Almost too fast. I wanted to continue my alone time with the hummus when our other food came out. My son had a salad and I had the Greek Pita Pizza. My pizza was really good and my son said that there was never a time that he didn't like what he has gotten there. Hummus with Veggies. The lentil soup was watery with only a handful of lentils in it with a few pieces of celery and disproportionately sized potato chunks. The lentil soup was flavorless and sad. Next I ate the chili. The chili looked good, but tasted chalky, like the flour or corn starch dissolve (neither of which should be in chili). the chili had no heat and had a single note tomato flavor. I also ordered the hummus and veggies. The only reason this is a two star review. The pickled turnips and olives were probably only good because Aladdin's Eatery didn't make them. This all cost me $33.99 including tax, tip, and fees (receipt attached). I forgot to mention they gave me no utensils or napkins :( Let this be your warning. Don't waste your money like I did. THE.BEST.MIDDLE.EASTERN.FOOD.EVER. This wonderful place was a complete surprise while on an unexpected trip to Youngstown to help relocate family. We arrived for a late lunch to a busy dining room and tons of take out whipping out the door. The spicy cauliflower, falafel and two types of pita rolls were incredibly prepared to perfection and swiftly served by pleasantly competent staff. Truly an establishment with pride and the passion for feeding people. The good is always so fresh and delicious. I wanted a quick snack, so the Honeymooner juice, which is carrot, grape, and cucumber. Definitely recommend. I also got a fruit cup and it was very fresh. Was a little surprised to see a banana in the fruit cup, but it fit perfectly read more

I love Aladdin's! Their salads are all incredible, the Aladdin's dressing is ridiculously good. I love the chicken salad salad and the fattoush or the taza. The taza has a really good honey mustard dressing. Their rolled pitas are good and my friends love the pitza's. Their hot sauce is great, I like to have some in my fridge at home too. The vegetarian combo is so good! I would get a chicken salad rolled pita and a side of hot sauce at least twice a week when I worked near this location. We met family here as we were visiting from out of town. My BF's aunt picked this spot because of the number of vegan options they had (I'm the only vegan in a group of about 10). OMG. We were all blown away by the service, quality and options. We all ordered different things and we were all very impressed. Our server was fantastic at a time when the place was busy and we were a huge party. We never needed anything at all because he anticipated our needs. I've been here too many times to count and it's always been a good experience. My last visit was no exception. The place was doing a brisk Saturday night in spite of the slow economic times. The atmosphere is simple but very pleasing. The service on this last visit was stellar. Generally it is above average. Their drink selection is diverse; tea (green, black and herbal), wine (limited but including a few Lebanese selections), and beer (domestic, international, including Lebanese). The food is always very good. This evening I had the Sfiha Plate. A seasoned, very tender, ground beef filling in a slightly grilled pita served on a plate of greens, tomatoes and calamata olives (for which I'd walk barefoot over broken glass) topped with a dressing of your choice. This is a definite recommendation. I love the Mujadara Plate as well. It is a combo of lentils, rice and their Lebanese salata. The wife had the Chicken Sambusek Plate. This was not as good as the Aladdin's standard, but not bad. It is a curried chicken and caramelized onion in a slightly grilled pita. The chicken was a little too dry. Plan on having (and taking home some of) an appetizer. I'm a huge fan of Tabouli and Aladdin's does it quite good (not the standard that Grapevine in Columbus is, but good). The other appetizer reco is Foole M Damas This is a tangy dish (not shy about the garlic) composed of fava bean, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic in a puree, topped with tomato. Along these lines, you can get their appetizers in a sampler to-go. I've done that and it's a meal. It's a nice break from the usual, (very good) pasta or average Mexican in this area, but with Zenobia on the other end of US 224, things are looking up. If you're in the Boardman area, give this place a try. read more

I feel bad giving this restaurant a 2 star review because I've been going for years, but im going to give it a 3 star review, because the food is consistent. However, I have a small child, and until recently he was in diapers, so I had to use the changing table in the women's restroom. Let's just say, the same poop stain was on the baby change table FOR MONTHS! The same stain!!!! Apparently, whoever is in charge of cleaning the restroom doesn't have a baby or never had children because if they did, they would sterilize it at least once daily with final cleanup. To me, this is "half" cleaning, and the more I think about it, the more I wonder if the cleaning in the kitchen is as "half-cleaned" as the women's restroom. Enough said. read more

Stopped here because I was stuck in Youngstown due to a snowstorm (driving east on I-80, was trying to get to central PA) and because it was highly rated on Yelp. The choices were Aladdin's or Longhorn, and neither the wife nor I were in the mood for steaks, so Aladdin's was it... The place looks like it used to be some other kind of store, but had a nice cozy atmosphere. There were only a few people in the place due to the bad weather conditions outside but it was a hip crowd, mostly 20-somethings. Waitress was very nice and accommodating; knowledgeable about the menu, and able to give suggestions.. I got the "Aladdin's Favorite Combo". Wife got a chicken wrap and my 5 year old boy got a banana/milk/honey smoothie. I had recently been to The Pita Spot in Mystic, CT this past summer, which is much better.. however, for this area, Aladdin's is one of the top choices. I found the Combo very good. my son didn't like the smoothie; I tried it and it has a bit of a complex taste; good but I could see why he didn't like it. My wife liked the wrap. Would definitately stop here again. It's very close to the hotel we were staying at (Holiday Inn Express right across the street) and right next door to an ice cream place called Handels (which we stopped at afterwards). ***Quarantine Review*** We ate in here while staying at the Hampton Inn a short ways away. I'm Lebanese and 67, so I've eaten a ton or so of the stuff. The place seems to be keeping with the rules re the virus. We had an assortment plate, a shish kabob plate, and an order of tabouli. My biggest gripe with this place is they don't actually use much lamb in the products. It's mostly beef or vegetarian. The thin sliced lamb was overcooked. All of the food was only luke (nursing home temp) warm. I detest cold food that I have to wait a long time for, because it's supposed to be made for ME! The bread was stale, it was ok when it came because they heated it. 5 minutes later it was hard. The service was very good. None of the food items stood out at all to me, everything was very average. While driving around, we saw a wazillion Middle Eastern places, I'm positive there's better food in the area. If you haven't eaten Middle Eastern a lot, you will probably like it. It's between average and a 4 for us, but I'm giving it a 3. If you think this is a five star place, I'm sorry you have never had excellent Middle Eastern food. The place kind of screams Chain...chain...chain. Maybe without the virus it's a better place. Good, but not great, it's still recommended. read more

The best Mediterranean place and my all time favorite! Great casual atmosphere and the staff is always the absolute best! They go above and beyond to be friendly, kind, and welcoming. The hummus is the best hummus I've ever had! Make sure you ask for both garlic sauce and hot sauce on the side of your hummus and your main entree- a must! My favorite dishes include aladdins chicken pitza, jasmines favorite with chicken tawook, superfoods salad, the 9 veggie soup, and the chicken pitza roll up. Amazing!
