I had an amazing visit at Aladdin recently. I walked in a bit unsure since I hadn't been there in a while, but the manager came right over, walked me through the takeout menu, and pointed out several gluten-free options for my husband. We decided on the chicken shawarma, and it was absolutely divine--especially with the tahini sauce on the side. I personally also enjoy their pitza, which is always a favorite. We were told there would be about a 15-minute wait, but everything came out in just 5-10 minutes. It was incredibly fast. The server who brought our food was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was spotless--so clean it felt like it had just opened that day. I also love sitting on their patio when the weather is nicer, though it's been a bit cool lately. Overall, this is a great spot, especially for gluten-free options. The customer service at this Aladdin's is truly exceptional! I ordered four Kids' Chicken and Cheese Pita Pizzas for pickup. Because of a mobility issue, I called when I arrived, and the young lady who answered was kind enough to bring my food out to me. When I got home, I realized my order was incorrect. I called and spoke with Marisa, who immediately apologized and offered to remake it. Since I live about 20-25 minutes away, I said I'd grab it next time I was nearby. A few minutes later, she called back and offered to deliver the corrected order to my house! That kind of service is above and beyond. Came here after shopping in the plaza and brought my book to read on a weekend solo date. As always, the food was so tasty and full of flavor! The vibrant colors in the Farmer's Pitza prove how fresh the vegetables were, and the lentil soup didn't even need the feta and chicken I added -- it could have been filling on its own, but the cheese and chicken elevated it to the next level! A friend and I stopped for some fresh healthy food and a good conversation as we waited for the rush-hour traffic to go away. The staff was attentive and the restaurant and restrooms were clean. if you have mobility issues, be aware of the restrooms are at the far back of the restaurant so bring your cane along. I also did not notice any grab bars in the stalls, but maybe I just didn't pay attention. The ambience is laid-back tavern, kind of atmosphere with plenty of natural light and some casual accents. The sound level is what we would call "hard " meaning it does not muffle sound but on the other hand that helps you have a private conversation if there's background noise! Parking is convenient, but it fills up rather quickly. There are several other restaurants nearby, as well as a few other storefront kind of businesses. Food was very good as usual. read more

Excellent Mediterranean food! Ate lunch here and enjoyed my meal. When we walked in, we were able to be seated and given a choice of outdoor or indoor dining. Decided to sit inside and I'm glad we did because it started to rain a few minutes later. Our server was very good, friendly and attentive. She brought us drink before taking our order. The best hummus I've ever had! You have to order it with the hot sauce and the garlic sauce and use both of them! Pro tip right there. The best items on the menu here for me are the Len-chili, the superfood salad, and their flourless chocolate torte. The torte is so thick and fudgey, my daughter and I have to order it every time! And if it's not available we are very sad! We like eating on the patio in the summer, and always receive fast and friendly service. Usually Aladdin's is yummy, but I normally get the same appetizers. This time, we wanted to try the chicken sambusek. Well I wasted $8.25 and I couldn't even try it. The pita was literally ROCK hard, we ended up cutting it open with kitchen scissors to see what was in it. Once opened, the filling looked completely burnt. So into the garbage the entire dish went. This has been by far, the worst experience we've had at this location. I don't know if it was bc we ordered this as a takeout dish or what. Maybe it's better, (ie. Not hard, not burnt) as in edible when you eat this in person. Oh well. We DEFINITELY won't be trying anything new any time soon from this location. read more

Aladdin's is one of favorite restaurants in the area. We can always count on this restaurant for amazing food at a reasonable price. Tonight was no different. We started off with a glass of wine and a bottle of Great Lakes Beer (both reasonably priced). We had the baba appetizer which is always exceptional (#TeamBaba #whataboutbaba)! For are meals we both got the flavor savor which included chicken mishwi, beef kafta, brown rice, falafel and baba (was able to sub out the hummus :) Our waiter Bharat was also exceptional. He was always checking us and refilling out drinks and pita bread. I really can't say anything bad about Aladdin's. in my opinion you can not find a better value in town. The food here is consistently good. I don't think I've had a bad meal. Servers are attentive but not overbearing. I highly suggest the spicy cauliflower. Don't let the name fool you; it isn't actually spicy. I have a hard time with mild salsas and I didn't taste any heat in the cauliflower. It was absolutely delicous. Their hummus is creamy. The wraps are well-priced and filling. You can't go wrong with their meals either. And don't forget to save room for dessert! They have a changing showcase of desserts. I have consistently enjoyed their lemon desserts. The vegan cheesecakes (which don't taste anything like a cheesecake) and baklava are wonderful as well. As much as I love Aladdin's food, this location is my least favorite one. Don't get me wrong, nothing was bad, but I have had much better experiences at the locations in Hudson and Lakewood, especially with service. Unfortunately, this location is the closest to where I stay when I'm in the area, and sometimes you just don't really want to drive far away. I usually get the vegetarian rolled pitas here. I like the baba falafel or the dwali rolled. The baba falafel is filled with smokey, creamy baba ganoush, pickles, and crispy falafel. In contrast the dwali is more vinegary due to the grape leaves and has a more smooth texture due to the rice. The price is right with both running around $7 a piece. The first time I ate at this location (one I ate in, the other I got take out) the toppings weren't really spread out throughout the pita which was a bit of a disappointment. I didn't taste the baba in my pita until I got to the very end. The side salad also had hardly any dressing on it and was dry. The plate it was on was so tiny that I couldn't try to stir it around and spread what tiny amount of dressing I had. Also, it took forever to get our order taken, waters refilled, get the check, etc. The desserts looked delicious, but since everything took so ridiculously long, we decided to go elsewhere for dessert. When I got take out, things were much better. No complaints really. I had the dwali and It was tasty. This is one of the better choices in the area for vegetarian options, so I probably would go back, but I think I might opt for take-out next time instead. read more

Just excellent We went in for lunch today. It was during lunch hour so the place was packed. We had to wait a few min for the table but once we were seated, things were smooth. Although, it was a busy lunch time, our server was nice, prompt and attentive. We ordered hummus, tabouli, and Aladdin's favorite combo. The hummus was one of the best ive had like anywhere! I love to eat at Aladdins. Everything I've ever eaten there has been delicious and the portions are pretty large. They are a little pricey but I think it's worth it. The Fairlawn location is much bigger and less crowded than the Highland Square location. I've never had dessert there but the cake display always looks amazing. read more
