Jake was very communicative. He sent a reminder and on the day of install, kept me informed of his arrival time, etc. He was right on time. He began his work and was incredibly thorough in his approach. He unmounted my old/dead TV and prepped for the new one. Once he got it mounted, everything looked great with all the cables hidden. Knowledgeable and polite owner but poor customer service…read more I hired Mount Atlanta to install our surveillance system and video doorbells based on the yelp reviews. Ricardo the owner is soft spoken, polite and knowledgeable in what he does. He mostly oversaw the job remotely and had his less experienced team work on the job. The job took longer than expected. He did show up to the job site with the goal of finishing the work, however, he left without completing the job. There is a hole in the wall that Ricardo said he would come back and patch; and a video doorbell that Ricardo said he would come back and make audible (from inside the house) when someone rings the doorbell. Without an audible doorbell ringer, the video doorbell is not effective even when people are in the house. Notifications on the phone are unsatisfactory with regards to video doorbells because I don't always have my phone near me to see the video doorbell notification come through letting me know someone is at the door. There is a loud electrical buzzing sound that is coming from the video doorbell adapter. We unplugged this from the wall, therefore, we no longer have a working video doorbell. My experience with Mount Atlanta is not good because there has been no response regarding fixing our concerns once Ricardo got paid in full.

Just for some insight as well to the level of "Non-Quality and Nightmarish" work that AAA does. Please the pictures attached of the main Control 4 housing tower that AAA installed and look how disgusting, dirty and dusty the tower is to this day! You would think that if you paid a company $30K to install a full home automation system that they would at least have the professionalism to clean up and turn over the system in a very professional and clean manner instead of leaving it like these pictures show, correct? Well they didn't so if anything speaks a words it should be these pictures! Not that they have received ALL of their money they refuse to assist us in helping us achieve a fully functioning system. Recently some of the programming went "wonky" which is part of the issue they caused with the driver's they installed and the owner literally told me to reach out to the guy who sold us the system who no longer works for AAA, how crazy is that. When I called to confront him about this ludicrous statement he told me to "shut up"! Being a business owner for nearly 2 decades I truly understand customer service and ethical conduct as a business owner and Phillip Ampel the owner of AAA is probably one of the most unprofessional, dishonest individuals I have come across. I will update this review accordingly in the future with also pictures of how they left the Control4 cabinet install etc. once I get them uploaded. I will also update it accordingly to give insight as to how things are going with AAA in terms of getting our system operating as we were promised it would at contract completion. Original installer was only interested in up selling me stuff I didn't want or need so basically I was left in the dark trying to figure it out myself. One morning on my way to work I ran across a Leisure Technology truck copied the number and it was one of the best decisions I made. Derek came over told me exactly what I needed and was always transparent when it came to price and the scope of work.
