Came here one day and dropped off about 10 items to get clean and pressed plus an alteration. The owner told me about 5 days for most of the items and a reasonable price. Overpriced in general first of all. She "sent" my $800 leather pants to a "third party" for special (and more expensive, of course) treatment and they came back like 3 sizes smaller and a different color. I addressed the issue directly with her and she said i must've gained weight and refused to tell me who this third party was. It seems like she just did something to them herself and lied about the third party to get more money. Obviously i didn't gain so much weight in a weeks time that i wouldn't be able to fit them. I could barely get my leg in. Poor service and lack of accountability, won't return. read more

I came here today because the cleaners where I went to down the block promised my shirt on Monday. When I went to pick it up today the lady lost my shirt and was looking all around for it until she found it and I received my shirt the same way how I left it with a tear. Anyhow, I decided to give Rex cleaners a chance. This sweet lady by the name of Carol was so accommodating, I wanted the end of my shirt hemmed since it was my favorite shirt that is all beat up with holes lol in addition to sewing the tear. She told me not to waste my money because my shirt was already damaged. I waited less than 10 minutes to get my shirt sewn and she did an amazing job! If you are looking for a place to alter your clothing in short notice you need to come to Rex cleaners because they have excellent service and will get the job done. She's been altering my pants and sleeves all these years and I trust no one else but her. Carol always does an immaculate job on hemming my pants that you cannot even notice that it's been altered. Local neighbor dry cleaner. The owners and staff are very friendly and they do a great job. It is a little pricey for a dry cleaner but I cannot beat the convenience. Would not recommend for tailoring, that's for sure. I gave the nice women here a costume to be tailored for Halloween. I had a jumpsuit that I wanted the legs cut off of so it could just be a shirt. Pretty straight forward, I thought, but I came here so it could be professionally done. They said they'd have it done on the day I needed it. Great. Except when I returned, the legs were still on it. I asked why. That is, after all, the whole reason I came in. She said she thought "it was a better costume this way." So then I asked her what she DID do, and she pointed to the zipper, saying it was more open now. I didn't know what that meant until I went home to try it on and my boobs were completely hanging out. I certainly didn't ask for that either. She only charged me $12, which isn't the worst. But I'm disappointed that she took it upon herself to decide what "looked better," rather than doing what I asked. read more

So my family and i have been customers here for years and years, and i couldn't even begin to give a reason to why. This place is such a rip off, $90 for 4 shirts to be dry cleaned and 2 skirts hemmed... Like really?? I'm a full time student and only work part time. If i would have known the total was going to be outrageous i would have never gone in, in the first place, and just would have done it myself. Always friendly and fast. They're great at alterations, and pretty inexpensive to. To get a pair of pants hemmed is about 8 bucks. My only gripe is that they close a little early (around 5 I think) on weekends and they're closed on Sundays. But other than that, pretty decent. read more

I've been going here for many years and have never been disappointed....Carol and her husband John are the owners and not only do they do great work, they are the hardest working and kindest people you will ever meet. Over the years, I've left money and credit cards in pockets and it's always returned in a bag, clipped to the clothes. I've accidentally brought socks and jammies in the pile of laundry and they cleaned them at no charge! Carol has tailored work clothes, suits, prom dresses and recently, our daughter's wedding dress and did a wonderful job....I love this place and am grateful it's in my life! read more

Awesome! I never dry clean anything but I have a cute embroidered cloth backpack and one strap had come loose. Told myself I could probably fix myself but decided a professional would be so much better for my favorite bag. Also, what about all those pairs of pants I had piled up to fix the hems "myself"?
