Alameda Landing is a well designed modern shopping center in Alameda's West End. It's adjacent to the Webster Street Tube and College of Alameda. It's anchor stores are Target and Safeway. There's also a variety of trendy chain restaurants and eateries. I recently tried the brand new Jollibee, and afterwards I enjoyed frozen yogurt at Yogurtland across the street. Early development of Alameda Landing began in 2008. What used to be here? The land Alameda Landing sits on used to be a US Navy Supply Depot. Alameda Point used to be an active duty Naval Air Station, which closed in the 1990's. Old time Alameda residents might remember a drive-in movie place too. Alameda Landing draws people from all over Alameda and the surrounding communities. Everyday I see a line at the In-And-Out Burger wrapped around the block. Both anchor stores offer huge parking lots. There's several ways to get to Alameda Landing. Locals know to drive behind the Tube buildings, and enter by Target. This is an old school shopping center, actually, it's so big that it's possible that it was two or more shopping centers combined. It was nice to walk around. I only came by because I was looking for a Sally store, I happened to be driving back from somewhere else and had to do a detour. They have a lot of stores such as Michaels, Target, Safeway, Sally, and some others. The food is Jolliebees, when is new, and Koja Kitchen, a major disappointment - read my review. I walked around to get some steps in and was glad to see it. I usually go to Southshore and I think that place has more to offer than this one. But it's not bad, and if in the area. I could come here. But it wouldn't be a destination. It doesn't have a beach behind it like South Shore Center does and it also isn't near street, Park St, which has an amazing food scene. So that's also a consideration. But, it's not bad, and as I said, if in the area, I may swing by. read more

A very good shopping center coming out of the Webster Tube in Alameda!! The biggest stores here are Target on one end and Safeway on the other!! In between them are lots of stores and restaurants. Some of them are Jamba, Poke Salad, Panda Express, The Habit, T-Mobile, Mattress Firm, Chipotle, Famous Dave's BBQ, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, just to name a few!! Basically, you could get it all done here. Plenty of parking, and as many places that are here, it's all within walking distance. And although this place isn't new, it still has that new feel because they keep this place really clean!! read more

Very disappointed! As a new patient, the dentist met me for less than 5 minutes and diagnosed me with for a treatment of over $ 3.200. When I called the office to ask to meet with the doctor for a cleaning until I make the decision, I was informed by the MA that the diagnosis can nit be changed and that I can not be seen for anything else. read more

Beautifully designed shopping center with lots of new trendy restaurants and shopping options. Clean, lots of parking and even planned events for community members. The shopping center is designed very well. Parking and accessibility is convenient. You can park close to what your interested in and I heard that is the main reason why traditional malls are going out of fashion. People do not want to walk one step further than necessary. Then they drive to the gym... park as close as possible and hit the stair stepper machine. Visually the buildings look good too. The signs for the stores are easy to read - I like that. Sometimes in certain places they plant trees that block the store front names. Everything is clean. I suppose its not yet old enough to be all that dirty yet or maybe the people who live here have more respect for public places. Just yesterday I saw a vehicle in Oakland throw trash out the window right by the Home Depot. This car then pulls into the designated safe parking lot just feet from where they litter. Why trash the place you live? Alameda in in general is a safe place. Police are bored. If your a very jumpy person you might really appreciate this shopping center. read more

This is a nice shopping center. You can knock out everything in one stop. Grocery shopping, target shopping, personal grooming, drinks and eating all one area. Safeway Target Michaels Cream Lunchbox Yogurt land Shirasoni (my favorite) Just to name a few..... Parking for the most part is relatively easy to find. In general the shopping center is clean and safe. I enjoy coming here and shopping hassle free. read more

One of the better neighborhood shopping centers. Several good restaurants. A couple not so good restaurants. Frozen yogurt shop. Safeway and a target. You can get most of what you need here, and you'll find convenient parking. Rarely, although occasionally, will you have to deal with vagrants and panhandlers. Location is great. Equipment appears to be new, up to date. There are friendly people in the office. Some may have cold or direct personalities. I do not find an issue with this. My problem is connected to billing. I'd like to warn you. They are manipulating you when it comes to finance. Learn your dental plan. Call your plan agents yourself and verify what they are telling you. I was in a painful emergency so I was not able to do so. But you should. They will surprise bill you telling you that insurance didn't cover it as expected. They know damn well what insurance will cover. That's why they have that "expert" meet with you before hand. It's a game. Don't play it with them. UPDATE: After receiving a bill in the mail in January with a due date of 2/28/23. They sent my account to collections within the same month. While I was corresponding with them. I asked in an email if payment arrangements could be made. Question ignored, sent to collections. They are spiteful. BEWARE. read more

I called there during the business hour on 10/12/23 and 10/13/23 to find out how much my co-pay would cost to get the bridges put on. Each time I call my call was answered by a guy in call center. A guy from the call center said they will contact the office and have them call me. Never got a call from them. Bunch of lazy ass people good for nothing. So many great stores here! From In-N-Out to Lunchbox Wax to Target, you're going to want to buy something in Alameda Landing. Pretty landscape. There's an area for kids to play outside in between a burger place and mobile phone store. Really cute at night with the twinkly lights. Highly recommend. There's parking, just probably not in front of your favorite store. Obviously getting there early usually guarantees less people, less traffic and more space. read more

Date: 7/25/2015 Time: 11:45 AM. 64° Partially sunny I did not stay too long at Longfellow Park because Alameda Landing had another celebratory event occurring, which was very important. I started walking to this site via Third Street to Mosely. I was a good 12 blocks to my destination when I saw my husband driving in the direction that I came from. I hopped in and he drove the rest of the way to Alameda Landing. As many times I have come here to patronize the different retail businesses, dining at The Habit Grill, doing to go orders from Panda Express or Chipotle, today was a special and memorable day. The location of the ceremony that I dare not miss was on the corner of 5th & Willie Stargell Avenue. This was the day that the late Wilver "Pops" Stargell was honored and a monument of a baseball statue and the unveiling of his plaque were presented for all who were attending to admire and cherish the memories of an Encinal alumni. My memories of Mr. Stargell was from the 1979 World Series (Pittsburgh Pirates against Baltimore Orioles). Where was I when he and the Pirates won the WS? I was in the maternity ward at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland after having my baby girl. I was so excited and whooping it up that the nurses told me to settle down and not disturb the other new mommies. Yes, today was a good day. Alameda Landing isn't completely developed yet. Other dining or eateries coming to this location are CREAM, Sharetea, Spin Pizza and a sports pub (?). United Services Credit Union recently opened and a Chase Bank next to In and Out Burger is subject to open in the near future. There will be more trips to Alameda Landing. It's somewhat close to my home and it's quite a distance to walk from point A (my home) to point B (Alameda Landing). However, I will work on the challenge of walking there via Webster Street by College of Alameda. It's one of the ways to get 10,000 steps in on my Fitbit. read more

I grew up in Alameda and it's nice to see how slowly this town is growing up. Many new developments, homes and new land of shops and restaurants. This little manmade island has everything and now Alameda Landing. I believe this is the same owners of Union Landing in a Union City as everything is similar about it but not as big. I could be wrong? This has a little children's play area when adults are taking a break from shopping. There are still many empty stores here but once it fills up, this is where all the Alameda people will hang out even from close cities. They have all my favorite places already like Cream, Habit Burger, Michaels, Target, In-n-Out and Safeways. They took part of the Alameda College land but location is great. You can see many young folks here and I hope the people will keep it clean...will be back if I am in the area. read more

There's a lot of various stores that recently opened up within the past year or so. When I first came here to visit, they only had Target. I'm glad that they expanded and now we have a larger variety. They have a Target, Safeway, restaurants, dessert places, and other little knick knack shops. The dessert shops include CREAM, Yogurtland, and Sharetea (opening soon). This place would be perfect for those who are trying to shop on the weekend and want to grab some food after with their families. However, I took one star off because there are always lots of cars here and the parking is extremely limited, so you'll need to spend at least 5 minutes trying to find parking. Also, they have a Safeway gas station if you need to get any gas before hopping on the freeway! read more

Alameda Landing is a newly developed outside mall. Alameda has been known for NIMBY so many brand name stores are located here. Alamedans have fought to keep Target away from their backyard, but it's one of the anchor stores. Great to check this place out. read more

Car break ins are rampant at this eating and shopping area. I have seen a dozen shattered windows (with glass on the ground) when returning to my car. Understandable under normal conditions the landlord is not at fault. However, the businesses in this center have been handing out flyers and posting notices for over a year regarding excessive "smash and grabs". When does the landlord take a stand? The businesses here should be pressuring the real estate owners to figure this out. As a customer, I will not return to this center. Our $20 burger night is now costing us over $500 to get a brand new passenger window put back in my brand new car! This is a terrible experience which I see repeated on NEXTDOOR.com and other social media sites. Alameda Landing, if you want business, contact me and you can get me $500 worth of spending at your center to compensate for a problem you know you have and it's been going on far too long. read more

This shopping center is great. This shopping center has a lot of potential. This shopping center has some great store like GNC and Target. I love it that this shopping center Cream location. I also like it that this shopping center has a Habit Burger her. I am also glad to see Fire Roasted Sub coming soon. I gave this shopping four starts because there is no Philz Coffee location here. Philz Coffee would do great here. There should be one here. I am glad to see a shuttle bus that takes people from the 12th street BART Station to the Alameda Landing Shopping Center and back. read more

This outside mall is what you might expect to find with tons of suburban chain store drivel. The only thing of value here is probably Safeway. I really wish that they could have more local mom-and-pop stores to really add character and value to the area; maybe they'll figure that out eventually.
