And I used to frequent them often. I did find a few shirts I liked at Marshalls, but did not buy as I just have way too many. Discovered Tesla charging stations "hidden" in the rear of the center, see picture. I have to admit, when we did NOT know better approximately 20 years ago, we used to come here often. But the environment has changed, and not for the better. Way busier, more car break-ins, more poor drivers, etc. And really no brands that I personally shop. Plus, we now have the Livermore outlets! I wish this place is open earlier. Weekends can be packed. Kinda hard to find parking. So I go on weekdays. It's pretty chill. I really just go to 3-4 stores there. While shopping at Marina Square, I was pleasantly surprised to find J.Crew Factory. It isn't a big store but still nice they are closer to me than Emeryville or Livermore. As I entered, I saw 3-4 associates to which all were too busy to greet people. It seemed like a store manager was there & I never received a warm friendly welcoming vibe at all. Usually when I shop I enjoy a good shopping experience, with an update to the latest sales happening, unfortunately there was absolutely none to be found at this location. J.Crew Factory isn't very customer service oriented. I was ignored the entire shopping experience despite buying 2 shirts & a dress. This is probably the best shopping center in San Leandro!! Marina Square Center is located right off Interstate 880 and Marina Boulevard. They have a lot of good stores here!! I don't know the difference between an Outlet Store and a Clearance Store, but you can find some good deals in the Clearance stores here!! The Nike Clearance Store is almost always crowded, lots of good finds there. But the Converse Clearance Store and the Nordstrom Rack offer some good deals also. Those are the main stores I usually hit when I'm here. Also, the Men's Wearhouse store here is highly recommended. I bought a suit there before it turned into a Clearance store, but you can still find some good deals on sport jackets there!! And there are plenty of other stores here also, a good shopping center in this area!! read more

Good shopping center near the 880 highway. Nike, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack outlet - among many many other shops. I think Nike outlet is probalby the most popular shop here. Inside all the best shoe deals are hard to find due to its popularity. Nordstrom Rack I went to many times. Good deals on premium clothing. I like customer service that store comes with. Its a bit of a hunt as its a Rack but I still have a charge card from them for the benefits card holders get. Food places to eat. They seem to change often. I last ate at the pizza spot. Parking easy enough - place is very clean and I think safe... with the exception of the pandemic riots. The dodge dealer across the street and Nike got hit hard. I like the palm trees around here. It is absolutely a good place for shopping. Many lovely brands here. When we got to the Nike store on Christmas Eve, I smelled mariguana in the fitting room. Marina Square Center - Outlet Stores Near Me - San Leandro, California

It has the least amount of stores in comparison to all other outlet malls I've been to, but the choices are pretty decent. What I like most about it is it isn't too TOO far from Oakland Center (compared to Livermore, Napa and Petaluma.) Parking is not an issue when coming through on a weekday, but it can be a bit of a challenge during the weekend especially on holidays, so come through early if you can. The eateries are much better here vs Napa and Petaluma. They have La Salsa, Panda Express, Pieology and Starbucks. FAR better. Overall, a good place for bargain buys. read more

Curse me, but outlet stores ain't my thing. I've been to a few stores before and they are selling their "outlet brand" label. The Rack, Nike, and The Gap are known for this. My recent trip to Marin Square was for alterations at The Rack (excellent tailor by the way). The Sun was out and I did walk around to see the shops. Panda Express, Men's Wearhouse, and Banana Republic caught my eye and are decent stores. A lone standing B of A ATM machine in the parking lot was curious, but helpful. The parking lot has been packed my last two visits, so there must be good items and deals. read more

So much has evolved in this sprawling shopping center - gone are the days when it had an OfficeMax, Party America, and Old Navy Clothing Co. - yet alone the small yet thriving businesses of Anna's Linens and The Athlete's Foot Outlet - even oldies like Big Dog Sportswear and an Eddie Bauer Outlet. Now, it is popular more than ever - thanks to the Nordstrom Rack and Nike Clearance Store, which is the only one-of-a-kind you can find in Northern California! I believe the other two locations can be found in Southern California. Growing up in San Leandro, I've always had fond memories of Marina Square - due to the fact that my family and I always stopped by here to purchase clothes, housewares/beddings, and shoes - in addition, to looking forward for a sweet treat that my parents used to get me - Frappucinos at the corner Starbucks! LOL. This was also the hang out spot growing up in my 'teens - most especially on Friday nights during the Fall Season, when SLHS Football Teams would play their home games! The Starbucks was the MOST popular spot to grab some food and/or drink, and wait to get picked up from your parents! Nostalgia, indeed. Even though this shopping center is on the small side, they do have a lot of stores that are unique to this part of the East Bay! Their selections at each establishment are decent and even above average, compared to their other locations around the Bay Area! It's truly bursting at its seams - there's only one vacant space (which used to house a Gymboree Outlet), and I'm pretty sure that it will be filled in real soon - hoping for an Express Factory Outlet, HAHA! There's ample parking around the spacious lot, although it can get hectic on weekends when the stores roll out their sales throughout the year! Food choices seem to be limited, but don't let that deter you from coming here! There are numerous eateries around the immediate vicinity, including 3 breweries that puts San Leandro on the map! Highly recommended for those that live in the area, and don't want to make the trek out to Livermore or down 880 South to the enormous Great Mall in Milpitas! This is a great mall with decent shopping options! Definitely worth the drive from the Hotel I am staying at and its just outside the city of San Francisco! I would definitely say that one of the high lights to this location is that theremin a Nike Outlet, as well as a Converse Outlet! I wanted to throw that in there because I work for these 2 Power House Brands! There are also a few selections of food choices, just incase you get hungry! There's Panda Express and Subway that are side by side, right next to the Nike Outlet Location! There is also Starbucks across the street and a Mexican Restaurant... Most of the bigger retailers here are not in Hawaii, like Loft, Talbots and Marshalls. There is also a Pac Sun Outlet location as well as an Ann Taylor Outlet Store! This shopping outlet is decent enough for you to kill a few hours, especially when there's a Nordstrom Rack and a Starbucks. The shops are clean and it isn't hard to locate a parking spot. There's things to eat if you're into fast food. Don't expect to find a nice sit down restaurant within walking distance because i wasn't able to find one. (I took an uber there because I wasn't sure how bad parking would be on a Saturday afternoon). Honestly, I don't think I will come here again unless if I need to pick up something at Nordstrom Rack. read more

Came here on a rainy Saturday in search of some new blouses for spring. Specifically I had a hankering for the Banana Republic outlet, but was also interested to check out Ann Taylor, Nordstrom Rack and the Gap.The center is small and the parking lot is a crowded nightmare. However, it gets bonus points for being more convenient than other outlet centers. If you specifically want to check out one of the aforementioned stores, it's not a bad option. Parking requires patience and by no means is this a day trip destination, as other outlet centers tend to be. Marina Square is simply a smaller size shopping plaza that happens to also house some Factory Outlet stores. As for the shops themselves, most of the places I went in appeared picked over and not yet well stocked for spring. I can't yet deduct a star for the lack of inventory, since I've only visited once. I'd have to return and gauge whether or not this one visit was a fluke, or if this is a recurring problem for the stores here. Overall, it's alright. Good for locals to pop in to. read more

A great cluster of shops that's located right off the I-880 freeway located in San Leandro. Shops like Ann Taylor, Nike outlet (which can be insane to navigate through but has awesome sales). You have the GAP, Converse, Nordstrom Rack as well as a Panda Express for those who get hungry doing all day shopping. A flaw about the shopping center is the parking can be bad and stressful, especially during a major holiday due to sales. There has also been vandalism issues In the parking lot area so be careful where you park. issues usually happen there towards the evening or on the weekends at night. It's still a good place to go and find everything you may need at discounted prices. Outlet shopping center like these are convenient for entire family shopping as well. Marina square is a much smaller shopping center that packs a punch because it has some factory outlet stores. Just make sure to get there early because things do and will sell out fast here. Parking is hard to come by on the weekends, so coming during the week during the early evening hours is recommended. Aside from the weird name, this mini-outlet/shopping center is perfect for a quick shopping excursion with my little squirt. This shopping area has an interesting mix of stores: Talbots Outlet, Anne Taylor Loft Outlet, Nordstrom Rack, Gap Outlet, Eileen Fisher Outlet, Eddie Bauer Outlet, Pac Sun, Men's Warehhouse, Marshall's, Nine West, Bath & Body Works, Starbuck's, La Salsa, Anna's Linens, and a Dress Barn. I am particularly fond of the Nordstrom Rack (for shoes, underwear, dresses and workout clothes) and the Gap Outlet (for their at times crazy sales). When I was working a corporate gig, Anne Taylor Loft was a fave of mine because their sales were often really great. My mom likes the Eddie Bauer Outlet because it's pretty big and can have a large clearance section and Talbot's because she can find tons of dresses to wear to more formal events like weddings. Unfortunately this little gem of a shopping area does not have too many choices when it comes to dining. La Salsa and a pretty decent Japanese restaurant down the street is about it. Pack snacks to keep your shopping energy up. Also, the enter/exit is a bit weird. Be careful to enter immediately on the right while on Marina and to exit on the Teagarden side. Otherwise you're going to be stuck on Marina, unable to flip a u-turn for awhile. Marina Square Center will be most appreciated by folks who have short shopping attention spans, little patience for long shopping trips, or who shop with a list like I do. This little shopping area always has just the right amount of choices for me to find the things I need without my head exploding. Sometimes more choice is not better. Food options include Panda Express, La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill, Subway, and Starbucks. The Nike store is probably the most popular store and it draws in a lot of customers to the shopping center making parking a challenge especially during the weekends. Marina Square is not a Premium Outlet Center like the ones in Vacaville, Gilroy or Livermore, but it is a nice shopping destination especially if you shop the stores there. read more

The line management at some of the stores can be a bit better managed at times as stores like Nike and Banana Republic can get a bit crowded. I'm not from the area but once I learned there was a mini-outlet center nearby, I was pretty amazed. When I say "mini" I really do mean mini. Don't come here if you're expecting Paragon Outlets in Livermore, because it's nothing like that. If you're looking for some discounted Gap clothes in a jiffy, go here. Or if you're looking for some deeply discounted Nike gear and wear a size Large or X-Large; go here. If you're not a size large or X-large (Men) then it's nearly impossible to find a decent shirt here. I don't know how many times we've come here, but my hubby has left empty handed each and every time. Love the fact that Gap and Nike are only a Panda Express away from each other, since that's what the hubby comes here for. Overall, we never had a problem with parking, but then again, we come here maybe an hour before they close. As much as I love living in the city, I also really enjoy the surrounding Bay, including the burbs. Every once in awhile it's therapeutic to go to an outlet mall (really). This is the closest one to SF, and I really like it -- all my favorites all in one stretch. I'll take the trade-off of fewer stores for better stores any day. read more

Back 20 years ago, I used to love to shop. Now I hate it... I hate the crowd, I hate the parking, lines... the list goes on. Marina Square Center has one of the WORST parking of all the mall/outlet centers. The trick is to go to the back of the building where there is ample of parking here. I wish they had laid out the parking better so there is an easier access to the front of this mall complex from the back parking lot, but you just have to walk around it. I like the Banana Republic Factory Outlet and Nordstrom Rack here, and the bargain prices makes me come back here maybe a couple times a year. If it was an easier in and out I may stop by more often, but with Keizer being built close by, I think it's only going to get busier. read more

Please, pretty please someone tell me why they name it "Square Center??" The ingenious people who thought of that must've been squares, seriously. A square is literally what it means, which is specific enough to define a center, a hub of activity, confined in four straight lines of pure fun! Except the last two words should be replaced by "huge heap of nothingness." This center... errr, square - whatever tickles YOUR fancy, is basically dominated by 3 items, all of which I am particularly picky about: shoes, clothes and food. This is a nice "little" outlet center. It has all the essential stores to shop. You will not get all the extras here because of the size but it doesn't matter. I always find good deals and am happy with my purchases. Parking can be a challenge during holidays. I suggest going during off times. I planned my shopping day late in the afternoon.
