We went to get our tire fixed, supposedly they fixed it, we paid 20 dollars, tipped the guy, and when we got home we noticed that the nail/wire was still there! We went back within an hour and told them the issue and they tried charging us again, however the mechanic said he would fix it and told the lady not to charge us. On our way home the second time we stopped by target and checked our tire only to find the nail/wire was still on the tire!! They said that it was a new nail and that it was a coincidence, and charged us again! We found the same material of wire that was stuck on our tire there on their property. They are scamming people! Took my truck to get the rotors sanded and new brake pads. On the installation of the driver side caliper , the mechanic didn't put a spacer on the upper caliper bolt and a rubber dust cover and the bolt was rubbing on the inner side of the brake rotor. I worked a little later than usual that day and came out to find I had a flat tire...with no spare...in NOT the greatest part of town for a solo lady after dark. Alameda Tires was the closest place still open. Called ahead; the man who answered was friendly & polite & took the time to verify they had the correct replacement tire. By the time I arrived, it was dark and there were many people standing outside, waiting for service (no waiting room). I asked for the man I'd spoken w/earlier. He was expecting me...he let the boss know I'd arrived. They squeezed me in. I waited about 15 minutes before they started on my tire; in & out in quickly and home safely. Great service! If I could give this a 0 stars I would. We went in for a simple tire patch. We asked if the mechanic could do it and he confidently said yes. Not even 5 minutes in as he's using his tire jack we heard a loud crack. He lowers the jack and we saw the lower part of the car was hanging out a bit. Before we could say anything he starts to move the jack and lift the car again. Lowers it and My dad then asks him if he's gonna fix what he cracked. The mechanic tells him it was already like that when we brought it in even though everyone heard him crack it and we saw it. My dad shows him the other side of the car where it was fine and the mechanic tells him it was like that. This goes on for a few minutes. The owner then comes over and my dad asked if they were going to fix it. The owner said there was nothing he would do. My dad tells him "making it right would be the right thing to do." I see him walk over and laugh with the other mechanics and telling them that we were at fault. The owner then tells us to basically F off. Wouldn't give us any names but the woman working the register verified that the man who blew us off was the owner. I then asked the owner if he was going to take responsibility for his mechanic messing up the vehicle and he kept walking around and away from us. I asked for his name and the woman yelled to him to not say a word. Not one person apologized. He said "go ahead and post about it. Nothing is going to change." Please do not bring your cars here. I recently went here to get a alignment, there was 2 guys working that day, one of them was a guy between he's 28-30 and the other guy was very young . The younger guy was very friendly while the other older guy was very angry and frustrated giving me attitude because he couldn't get a strut off a car he was working on.He even tried over charging me $70 for an alignment when they had told me $50, and to top it off he gave me no warranty on he's work. I just left this place after getting my tire patched due to a screw giving me a flat & I noticed that the guy working on my tire had chipped the f**k out of my new powder coated wheel while using a metal pry bar to mount my wheel back on the tire, I confronted him about it but he said it was already there and he did not do it (keep in mind that my wheels are brand new That I got about a week ago). I did not catch any names but it was a short dark Hispanic guy who worked in my tire. I had a fender bender accident in Compton, California. I do not know what to do after the accident, so I consulted Yelp, and they gave me Alameda tire and repair shop. They gave me a quote for labor (repair of the whole rack and pinion set plus the tie rod on both side for my ford ranger XL. ) They told me to come back the next day and there it was done and changed (whole rack and pinion set and tie rods) and repaired.
