Ventilation is much better here compared to the warehouse from before, and they've taken care to add some fun murals throughout the store. It's possible they put the popcorn machine away for the event, but I'm hopeful the next time it'll be back by the entrance; it's a staple! My main critique with the former space was that much of the costume jewelry and trinkets were behind glass. Part of the fun of antiquing for me is being able to touch, feel, and engage with historical pieces - it seems like the new setting has solved for this. I found a fantastic tapestry finger purse from JR Miami 1950s-1960s for $20 (one of the ladies who works there told me she nearly bought it that morning) and a sweet $3 footed teacup I'll upcycle for my plant collection, I recognized some of the booths, so I'm glad they were able to move with LB Antiques. If your dog is well-behaved, they are also super dog-friendly here and your pooch will have a field day sniffing all the textiles and curios. My only remaining gripe - and it was a gripe when the space was still Joann's - is the parking can be gnarly getting into! Between the pub and Pilates, the plaza can get pretty busy and the parking spots need to be repainted,

They have everything from clothes, furniture, bicycles, paintings, prints, and so forth. Antiques by the Beach is definitely one of the better antique shops in Belmont Shore. It's one of the most unique antique malls I've ever been to. According to the owner, it used to be a rainforest educational center for kids that was founded and run by disney employee, and became a antique mall almost 30 years ago. So, that's where the waterfalls and lake come from! You will find a lot of unique treasures here too. I only picked up a couple of small things, but I'm very picky...and running low on space haha! The first room on the left sells clothes, plants, etc. The second small room next to it has a large picture of KISS plastered on the walls, between the selection of boots and jackets. After exiting that room, you walk into the main room and a large selection of vinyl for sale near the back. They sell used and new merchandise. Everything from used clothes to new jewelry, paintings, artwork, and everything in between. Parking can be a little struggle as it was pretty packed when we arrived. First off, right when I walked in I was greeted by the three amazing and very funny ladies. Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. I have been here before, and was very excited to return. It's kind of far and out of the way, but I…read moredecided to see if I could find anything for my friend's upcoming wedding. Upon entering with my service animal, Jane informed me that dogs are not allowed in the store. When I told her that my dog is a service animal, she looked at me in disbelief and commented on how she wasn't wearing anything that indicated that she's a service animal. Legally, service animals do not need to wear vests or anything else that identifies them as service animals. She continued to say that dogs either had to be held in someone's arms or in a carrier, and since my dog is big, she's not allowed in the store since some people are afraid of bigger dogs. I clearly wasn't going to get through to Jane, so I asked to speak with the manager. Apparently the manager is on vacation. I asked for a number so I could contact her. She refused. In short: I didn't get a chance to peruse the store because both my dog and I were discriminated against. Me for my disability, and her for her size. Do better.
