We picked up our pretty large haul of donuts and bagels and then we both ordered a Diet Coke (in cans) Sierra, was so thoughtful and asked if we wanted our canned soda in a cup with ice. Which, we both said yes. When we were leaving we were trying to grab our drinks, our handbag, car keys and all the stuff we got. Vince, immediately came around from the back and insisted on carrying our food out for us. The service really can't be beat here. The staff here was so accommodating and helpful. Located in a a small plaza in Long Beach, this little shop has so much to offer! Stacks of ramen loaded high with an array of mouthwatering donuts. We came here for one thing and we order a lot more! The Thai green tea was amazing with that floral note I was looking for, my partner enjoyed their regular Thai tea. How we, the donuts were on the ok side, we may be biased because we are faithful to our local donut shop but this place will hit when you're craving something sweet. We also ordered their cronut holes which looked great, however it was interesting to say the least, there was an odd taste to the donut glaze (maybe it's their signature flavor) but it tasted almost like hard candy..idk how to really explain it lol. But overall sweet for us, maybe next time we would pair it with a black coffee to off set the sweetness from the cronuts.

I got lucky- It was about a half hour before closing and there were no other customers. Cute little place! I was helped by Ilyas, the manager. What a stellar individual! I told him it was my first time, and my preferences (not big on frosting, but like interesting flavor combos) and he walked me through the different types. I was happily surprised to see that they carried some traditional donuts as well as the frosted themed ones! I found that this shop was related to Simones donuts which is a great business! They even do cookie tins and caramels. A couple of the special edition donuts looked so decadent and flavorful but more like a dessert that I commented. He then brought out for me one that was a brand new item and it sounded perfect- a sugar donut topped with strawberry mascarpone encircling a pandan center and I had to get it. He even let me have my themed matcha donut without the fancy little emblem for $1 less! So nice. Those, with a biscoff donut and a logo pin completed my purchase. The pandan topping was sweet but the mascarpone was reminiscent of a strawberry yogurt and the flavors blended perfectly. The other donuts were huge, fluffy and perfectly textured. I would have liked a stronger biscoff and matcha strawberry flavor in those crumbles but at least they were not sweet! Just delicious. The prices are fairly high but I will definitely stop by occasionally to see what delicious creations they are whipping up and get myself a treat!
