Nicest people and best donuts. We loved going to this donut shop. Affordable price.

This is ONE busy donut shop. We frequent the donut shop and often walk out with 10 dozen donuts for work events. I have nothing but positive things to say about this donut shop. The staff here is efficient and pleasant. They can manage multiple customers at one time, including me -- hogging up all the attention by purchasing 10 dozen donuts! The donut quality is standard -- a donut is a donut! The price is about the cheapest you're going to get anywhere. $15 /dozen donuts is actually a bargain these days. Winchell's now charges $18 (wasn't that long ago a dozen donuts was $5 or $6)!!! All things considered, this is our local donut supplier. Good people, good business. Wish them all the best!

I've came here about 3 times so I can give an honest accurate opinion. The donuts here are ok. But everyone has a different preference. I like light fluffy airy donuts with a itty bitty crunch (from being fried) unfortunately their donuts didn't meet that standard. Their donuts are kind of dense and not a lot of flavor. We usually come during the week when I drop my son off for school, but once I came on a Saturday and the donuts were definitely old... kinda like the ones they didn't sell from the day before. The customer service was great they are ALWAYS FRIENDLY! Parking sucks lol. There are some great businesses in the plaza so it's usually packed. Vibes are typical donut shop vibes.. limited seating lottery stickers everywhere. Their iced coffee is very thick like they put in a bunch of syrup.

I frequent the coffee shop next door and always see lots of people coming in and out of this donut shop. Randomly decided to pop by and was pleasantly surprised. Quick, friendly service and a wide variety of donuts... this is now my go to spot for pig-in-blankets and cake donuts!

I was actually looking forward to finally trying Alamitos Donuts coz it was my cheat day. I got a glazed and sugar twist bar. The twist bar was different coz it had cinnamon sugar; I thought it would be a nice complement to the sugar. The glazed, though not special looking, is always my go-to flavor. Well... Let's it's say that I wasted a cheat day. The donuts were both stale, flat, and not fluffy at all. It was quite a disappointment. I can't complain about the friendly lady behind the counter, but I know that I'm never going back there for donuts. Prices were about $1.10 for each and expect to pay a bit more for the fancier kind like jelly-filled.

I love this donut shop. Owner Michael is very friendly as are the usual staff that help out behind the counter. Fresh donuts, great prices. Very quick service. *as of last week of May 2020 (my last visit) shop staff were wearing masks while serving customers. However they allow customers in who aren't wearing masks and it's a small shop so if you are uncomfortable with no masks from others and no social distancing possible then reconsider this place for now. If you don't care about those things then enjoy the great donuts.

The "sausage" croissant- next time I will get 2!

Simply, I was curious not about donuts as this is what this place is known for, ahem duh... Alamitos "Donuts." But I am NOT a complete donut fan. The one thing I love are croissants. They had a plain one, egg, cheese and ham, and a "sausage" I believe with bacon cheese croissant. OMG! This is not to be missed folks. Maybe too early to order a sausage, but not the kind of farmer johns pork links. To me, it is probably a kosher beef hotdog of some sort. It was so good warmed up as the woman asked me if I wanted it warmed up. If I were you, eat it there or in your car. Taste so much better fresh and hot. The croissant with the cheese and bacon, holds a new form of yumminess in my belly at 10a! Hahaha Sad part was, it is not as big as the egg & ham and wished it was the same size. I was sad I ate it so fast and no more left. Parking here is not great, not the plaza's fault but for a main street of Los Alamitos/ Cerritos, you need more space for patrons. I believe there are places to sit outside and indoors as well. Customer service was awesome too and they are hospitable.

Coffee Toffee! I was in dying need to caffeine and made a quick stop for a pick up. I got the ice blended coffee toffee. The girl working was extremely nice and made my drink super fast. It was not too sweet and tasted yummy. It was very large and was a little under $3. I left happy. They also serve thai tea and various other smoothies. Their donuts looked good and there were so many to choose from. This place has a couple seats, tables, and a TV.

I love the ambiance and the cute monthly themed drink board. For the month of April, it was all Mario themed drinks and they even had Mario donuts. For the month of May, they will be featuring star wars themed drinks Sierra and Vince took great care of us. We picked up our pretty large haul of donuts and bagels and then we both ordered a Diet Coke (in cans) Sierra, was so thoughtful and asked if we wanted our canned soda in a cup with ice. Which, we both said yes. When we were leaving we were trying to grab our drinks, our handbag, car keys and all the stuff we got. Vince, immediately came around from the back and insisted on carrying our food out for us. The service really can't be beat here. The staff here was so accommodating and helpful. They helped us without us even asking. And when we told, Vince it was ok we could do it, he was already out the door with our stuff. 10 stars for this place if I could. It's small inside but it has SOME seating. there's some games you can play if you are into that and they have some books. the place is clean and I have zero complaints bonus points for them having a drive thru And for them being featured on the - too good to go app. Which cuts down on wasted food.

Located in a a small plaza in Long Beach, this little shop has so much to offer! Stacks of ramen loaded high with an array of mouthwatering donuts. We came here for one thing and we order a lot more! The Thai green tea was amazing with that floral note I was looking for, my partner enjoyed their regular Thai tea. How we, the donuts were on the ok side, we may be biased because we are faithful to our local donut shop but this place will hit when you're craving something sweet. We also ordered their cronut holes which looked great, however it was interesting to say the least, there was an odd taste to the donut glaze (maybe it's their signature flavor) but it tasted almost like hard candy..idk how to really explain it lol. But overall sweet for us, maybe next time we would pair it with a black coffee to off set the sweetness from the cronuts.

I've had their flavored bagel chips gifted to my office on several occasions and they're good, but it would be nice to have suggested dip/flavor pairings for them, that could offer their customers more interesting depth to the delicious snack. Anyway - for our dinner at the deli, service was on the slow, which made a casual dinner after a long day feel very, very long; however, I'd come back to satisfy cravings for pastrami.

Actual coffee and donuts are 3/5, though. Not bad but not great either. (The flavors are very, very mild.) Definitely overpriced for what you get (or maybe the mom and pop places are underpriced? Much to think about). Anyways, I don't trust donut shops that can't even nail their basics lol. My friend bit into his chocolate donut and immediately made the saddest face I've ever seen. Not in a ratatouille way, but like... the taste and texture disturbed him somehow. I still recommend this place because it's cute and whimsical and supports artists. Kids will love this place! And we need more whimsy in this world. Maybe that's all that matters. They definitely need a better menu system, though. 0/5 for the menu system because sharing single little laminated sheets with everyone in line is kinda ridiculous lol. (I have decision paralysis... And you don't even get access to the limited edition menu until you're at the front!) Am I dumb or do they not even have a menu on their website? It's also kinda crazy because everything else in the store is thoughtfully designed and placed but their menus are little laminated sheets resting flat on top of the donut display. Please fix that.

I told him it was my first time, and my preferences (not big on frosting, but like interesting flavor combos) and he walked me through the different types. I was happily surprised to see that they carried some traditional donuts as well as the frosted themed ones! I found that this shop was related to Simones donuts which is a great business! They even do cookie tins and caramels. A couple of the special edition donuts looked so decadent and flavorful but more like a dessert that I commented. He then brought out for me one that was a brand new item and it sounded perfect- a sugar donut topped with strawberry mascarpone encircling a pandan center and I had to get it. He even let me have my themed matcha donut without the fancy little emblem for $1 less! So nice. Those, with a biscoff donut and a logo pin completed my purchase. The pandan topping was sweet but the mascarpone was reminiscent of a strawberry yogurt and the flavors blended perfectly. The other donuts were huge, fluffy and perfectly textured. I would have liked a stronger biscoff and matcha strawberry flavor in those crumbles but at least they were not sweet! Just delicious. The prices are fairly high but I will definitely stop by occasionally to see what delicious creations they are whipping up and get myself a treat!
