Second year in a row that they have sent out the email saying it's time to pay the POA fees but the bill is not available online to pay yet. This time, their entire website is offline. I'm convinced they are attempting to make some ppl forget to pay it on time so they can charge late fees. For an organization whose entire purpose is running HOAs/POAs their website is embarassing. What are they doing with all the money they steal? This property management group does absolutely nothing. Do not let them become a middle man in your neighborhood just to enrich themselves. read more

This review is in regards to AMG as an HOA management in Austin Texas. If you are an HOA in Austin and are considering using AMG as your property management company, DON'T!!!! They will promise excellent service and not deliver. It took nearly two months for them to send out notices to homeowners for dues. They are severely understaffed. Our property manager not only handles several properties, but also does the drive-thrus as well as handled the ACC project requests. The homeowner's portal does not contain any information, ie, phone number or email or even a chat bot for homeowner's to contact our community manager. Our community has only been with them for 6 months and already have given termination notice for horrible service. read more

The First person I received on the Phone was very hospitable. Olivia the management not at all in any way a professional nor of any help. Continues to harass our neighborhood with violations on days when it has rained and we can't mow in the mud. Mind you I'm on active duty and in a whole different state during this time. Take this as a warning of this company. If anyone can see this I'd like the board and corporate to contact me as soon a possible about your company's conduct. read more

Maybe the organization does a great job collecting HOA fees but their responsiveness too homeowner concerns is horrible. Only accessible by email - no return phone calls to either me or my wife regarding a pool pass that no longer worked. Whenever one sees the words "as stated in my previous email", it is a clear sign of the disdain a service rep has for a customer. Stuck with Alamo....but guys do better. read more

I manage four properties in communities overseen by Alamo Management Group and have worked with them since 2023. Because AMG knows me and the property owners I represent, I wasn't concerned when they took over another community where I manage a property. On July 6, 2026, I received mailed instructions for setting up our new online account--great communication, right? Unfortunately, the listed website was no longer owned by AMG and was for sale through GoDaddy. I emailed AMG for help, and on July 8 an Alamo representative sent a different web address. I explained that I already administer four AMG-managed properties for the same owner and asked if access could simply be added. I was told no; AMG needed the owner's permission and proof of ownership. The owner promptly sent proof of ownership and authorized me to handle all HOA-related matters, but AMG then requested a more "official" authorization letter without explaining what that meant. I was directed to Accounts Receivable, where Rona requested a Warranty Deed and a signed authorization letter. After the owner sent both, Rona replied that the letter had to be revised to match the LLC name exactly as listed on the Warranty Deed before AMG would continue processing the request. Today, I asked Rona to call me, but she said she could only email. In my opinion, she should have called as soon as she determined the authorization letter was unacceptable. Doesn't AMG work for us? The community hired AMG to help maintain the neighborhood, and homeowners pay significant fees for that service. Instead, we have received delays, unclear requirements, and poor customer service. I hope the Willow View board reads this review and recognizes the mistake in leaving Spectrum for Alamo. read more

from my experience I can say the employees do ignore the phone calls! I had to see it myself! all i wanted is acess to the pool! I called all June and NO ONE answered, I figured oh they must be busy since it's summer time and have other important things going on. so I went in person myself for the form to use the pool. and when I was there waiting two ladies were just ignoring all the calls! they didn't seem busy and another girl just walking by not bothered from the phone calls either. since I am not the owner of the house I needed take the form and had the landlord (my parents haha) fill the form and I hoped to sent thru email instead of going in person. I called for an email address and like I said earlier no answer! I will go tomorrow in person again! this point I am so annoyed to drive across SATX for the HOA office! read more

SageBrooke community has gotten a new HOA management, so far not impressed. Office doesn't answer calls, but when they do it seems they're being bothered by you calling. Fridays seem to a day off for professional Development Day how convenient. New management now seems more relax and not attentive and follow through with project request. read more

As a current board member, my experience with AMG has been consistently negative. They rarely respond to board communications in a timely manner. They are not providing required violation reports. The violation letters they do draft are routinely non‑compliant and contain errors that expose the association to unnecessary risk. They also struggle to answer basic questions about our financials, even after months of pinging them, which is unacceptable for a management company responsible for handling association funds. Turnover is constant. We have not had a community manager stay in place for more than a couple of months, which means every issue has to be re‑explained from the beginning and nothing is ever resolved. My advice to any board considering AMG is simple. Run. Find a management company that is competent, responsive, and capable of meeting its contractual obligations. The only thing AMG has been consistent about is collecting their fees. read more

AMG Association Management Company took over started managing our Condos, Farmington Commons, in San Antonio, Texas, on 1 January 2026. Very disappointed with their management so far. Their financial ledger shows me as delinquent for my monthly dues, when I am not. I wrote a check for February dues for the amount of $401.07 but the check was deposited for $400.07. The check was not credited to my February account and shows me delinquent for the entire month. I don't know why. Our community manager does not answer emails in a timely manner or ignores them altogether. Poor customer service. We had better management with our previous management company. Update: after posting this review yesterday, I got a nice email from our community manager. She explained how I was not understanding the math on the ledger. She was correct and I was wrong. So I do apologize for the initial negative review. I guess it took that review to get a reply from our community manager. read more

I submitted a request via the portal in February. It was closed with no notes in April. I submitted a formal Architectural Review Committee request in March. I sent an email in April. I left several messages with actual people, none of which could put me in touch with our property manager, Todd. When I emailed his manager, Lillian, she scolded me for not following the process which was part of my original request in terms of identifying and directing me to the appropriate process. It is April 21, and my February request is still unresolved. read more
