During colonial times from the early 16th century through the mid-19th century, the music of Mexico's indigenous nations were influenced by the musical styles of Spanish colonists and the African slave population to form the music now called Mariachi. After the end of the Mexican revolution in the 1920's, the government began promoting Mexican folk music as a source of national pride. It is around this time that the Mariachi costumes became elaborate taking inspiration from Jalisco charros, Mexican ranchers and cowboys. By the middle of the 20th century, mariachi music had made its way into US culture, first in California, then throughout the southwest, and eventually throughout the nation. Mariachi has now become one of the most recognizable Latin music types. Carrying the Mariachi torch in South Florida is the Mariachi Show Mexicanisimo. This musical group can be hired to perform at your private events including birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations. I was able to watch them perform at a friends milestone birthday celebration. The singers had great harmony and they can sing in both Spanish and English. They offer 30 and 50 minute performances. This group was very professional and their music and vocals was enjoyed by everyone at the party. Mariachi Show Mexicanisimo is a beautiful representation of Mexican culture.

I learned so much in every single class I took. In university at USF I took a semester of ballet and the teacher complimented my technique as being the best one in the class, all thanks to the wonderful education I received at academy of arts. Now in 2025 my 3 year old daughter is taking classes and is enjoying every class. My mother, daughter and I recently went to the Christmas show and we were so proud to experience the show. It was such a great show, still professional and beautiful. 13 years later and Academy of Arts is still producing wonderful dancers. I highly recommend this studio to all dancers and artists who are eager to learn and perfect their craft.

This is a full dance school that offers: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Pas De Deux, Lyrical, Tap, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, Modern Dance, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Drama, Piano, Guitar, Violin, and Voice. The faculty is certified and have led professional careers in their respective areas of creative expertise. They begin laying a foundation from the preschool years all the way to young adulthood. And they have both female and male students. They also offer an AfterSchool program and work your child's classes at a mutually suitable schedule. The cost of the classes is comparable to other dance academies. I have enjoyed closely watching the development in my niece, as well as in many of her close friends. I also look forward to their professionally-mounted recitals every year.

This was expected though since most of these types of boat rides are similar in that respect. One interesting highlight was the trip into Port Canaveral to see some of the cruise ships in port. While that isn't too bad, the bad part is the fact that more times than not, the seat are stained with who-knows-what. The place feels rundown enough that whenever I come here, as soon as I am home, I throw my clothes in the wash and take a shower. The popcorn and concessions are pretty good and the popcorn is always popping hot and fresh when I am here, even during time when there aren't many people or a slow time of the day! The staff here is usually friendly but there have been times when I get my ticket scanned, they don't point me in the right direction. That isn't horrible but the theater has many different paths to walk and can get confusing if you have never been here. They have a few cool arcade games but they are pricey for what they are and I would spend that money on some more concessions (that are also overpriced). I also really love that this theater has an IMAX screen and this theater also plays some of those movies that are harder to find if they are indie or a foreign film. A nice enough theater but one that needs to be renovated for my to be able to make this review anything more than 3 stars!

In addition to it being a 24 screen theater, they have IMAX & Dolby screens as well as RealD 3D options to choose from. If I'm looking for a movie that isn't being screened at either of my local AMC 8's I know there's a good chance it'll be playing here. I've been coming here more in recent months, with no complaints, but there's some things that should be brought to attention. I know they've been open for many years & truly appreciate the fact that they're still thriving but they're definitely showing their age. Unfortunately, a lot of auditoriums have dirty seats & sometimes I'll have to move from my chosen one because it's in rough shape when I arrive. They're also the seats that don't recline so that's a knock considering most AMCs have the nice CLEAN leather recliners. The seats need to be the main focus for management here. If they're dealt with properly I'll gladly give them a higher rating; this truly is the one big thing holding them back. Concessions here are pretty much on par with what to expect at AMC. They're usually efficient, employees are friendly & the snacks are always delicious. This is a busier location so you should expect a bit of a wait but I personally don't have any complaints from my visits. I like the small arcade section in the main lobby. Although the games are more modern, it gives the nostalgic feel from back when theaters used to have awesome arcades! While cash might be a thing of the past at a lot of places now, they have a machine to convert it onto a game play card. Overall, I enjoy catching movies here but I can't say it's the best AMC in terms of cleanliness. My main reason for coming here is due to the variety of films they offer. It's not my first choice to come to Aventura, in general, but I'll make the trip when there's a movie I want to see.
