After having traumatic experiences with dentists in the past, I let a number of years go by before seeing a dentist. His staff was very welcoming, warm and friendly. When I was calling to make my appointments my calls were met by compassionate and friendly receptionists. His dental hygienist Michelle is awesome, thorough, detail oriented and really gets my mouth super clean. Dr Cingel himself is straight up AWESOME! Not only did he help me get my mouth back into shape, he also did an incredible job fixing a cosmetic issue on my front tooth making it look better than it ever looked before. For the first time in years, I smile with my teeth showing. I love Dr Cingel so much, I made it a family affair and he now also treats my son. The hygienist immediately put me at ease (even under the more challenging circumstances related to Covid) and did an excellent cleaning. This is the worst dental practice I have ever been to. It's all about money, money, money here…read more I paid over $1,500 for 2 simple fillings, and that's after many preliminary visits for the same 2 fillings. When I balked about the high cost, the dentist actually said that I had to pay for "chair time"! WTF?? The final straw came when I suggested having a small, removable partial made for a lower missing tooth. They took impressions, yet never asked me to look at the color of the tooth replacement for my approval. Sure enough, when I returned to have the partial fitted, not only did it not fit properly at all, but the color was way off! This partial was to cost me another $3,500, but I refused to accept it after the bungling dentist here could not get it to fit me. I also asked why they had never conferred with me about the color. After muttering amongst themselves for awhile in the back, the front desk woman came back and said "We'll call you"...which was their snarky way of telling me that unless I accepted this $ub-quality dental appliance, they don't want me as a patient anymore. So, I'm out $1,500 and need to find a new dentist just to fix the botched-up mess they made in my mouth. Keep your mouth and your wallet shut tight and look for a different dental practice than this scam outfit.

Spent $7000. Didn't know, never had braces so I thought all was well until some new guy she hired told me he needed a cap. He was so young, I said I'd go for a second opinion. Got to new dentist and he told me no cap but his teeth are not aligned. His bite is completely off. Went to Dr. Van vliet and he did the work. $8000. Went to a lawyer and when they investigated, the office lied, said I was going for a second opinion [yes, but that was for the cap-i had no idea and almost cried when we found out about the orthodontia] and well, we sucked it up. He had to spend his senior year in braces. Thanks so much. Now, with this oxycodone? Vivian you should be ashamed of yourself. You were high. You poor pathetic liar. BTW, she rarely did the work on my kid, the bands were changed by an assistant or the hygienist. Go figure. And I didn't realize. Another incident, she capped an infected tooth. It absessed. My husband called the office, since could barely speak. Said I was all blown up. They said she could see me later. Or go to another doctor in Kingston who specialized in root canals. He took one look at me and said you need to see a surgeon quickly. I was in the hospital for three days and not once did Vivian call me to check on me. The specialist who saw me for 10 minutes called twice. She said she "didn't know." Like really? Your staff didn't tell you I couldn't talk. Well, she did do some work pro bono for the cap she put on the tooth not a month before. And so now, with her upcoming prison sentence, I hope the lawyer who wouldn't pursue this case for me [I only wanted back the money for the orthodontia] sees I was right. She was incompetent, high and had no business doing work she was NOT certified to do. Karma, Vivian, karma. Glad no one else will be ripped off by you now. EVER.

The assistant was funny, chatty and kept me informed every step of the way, Dr Polaski was jovial and kind and the dental hygienist made me feel at ease.
