They felt like friends as they guided us throughout our wedding day and the shots prove that they are not only experienced but above and beyond. The cost/8 hours was very reasonable (especially when I compared it to places in the cities). You can select your photographer online by looking through a sample of their photographs- I chose Makayla because her personality and style seemed to mesh the best with what I had in mind. I live in the cities so it poses an added challenge when communicating with vendors 2.5 hrs away- I always get a better sense of things when I am there, in person checking things out (don't we all). Leading up to the wedding Makayla was very easy to email/text/call. She was available and always engaging, she had great ideas and feedback when I proposed an idea or had a question- I would absolutely hire her again. I did not meet Makayla face-to-face until the big day and she was energized and ready to go- I loved her enthusiasm and positive attitude. She did a fabulous job getting great shots of my husband and I, our families and our guests throughout the events of the day. She seemed to be everywhere and got nearly everyone in a great shot. She worked very hard for us and was frequently seen walking around, constantly setting up for shots and taking shots with always more than one camera around her neck. We truly feel like we got more than our money's worth when we saw the photos. L'Co overall was very easy to work with. The provided a questionnaire pre-wedding to get a feel for us as a couple and for me to be able to request specific family shots. I highly recommend being thorough when you answer this and update it- they do look at it and follow your wishes. I received the login and online portal information within 2 weeks of the wedding. The portal does expire, but they give you plenty of reminders to download. They also sent hard copies of many of the photos and a USB drive with the entire collection on it- much appreciated. Overall instructions and communications were clear and they were a great company to work with.

Stacey offered to do free sittings for National Guardsmen who are deploying in the near future, so without (much of) my consent, my wife signed us up for a time. I was pleasantly surprised with Stacey's professional demeanor and her attention to detail when posing us - she let us do what was natural and then "tweaked" it, instead of coming up with something artificial. We tromped around in the snow on Park Point for almost an hour and Stacey with her infinite patience was game to stay out there as long as were. Once we got the proofs back I was impressed with the uniform quality of the shots, it was hard to pick just one pose so we ended up ordering a whole bunch. The only negative I'd give is that a few too many of the shots were "skewed" for my taste, but I'm pretty conservative about things like that and everyone else who has seen them liked them a lot. Stacey did offer to re-crop the shots that I didn't like, but there were so many other awesome ones to choose from I didn't take her up on it!

Our date was scheduled for early January 2014. I was hoping she would snap some great photos of my family, including my two children, husband and dog. Only four days before the appointment, she cancels due to a personal issue. It takes her over one month to respond- only to tell me that she is now on bed rest for the next few months. I am heartbroken because now my dog has passed away, and my children are well over their birthday milestones. I ask for a refund and she agrees, only to never send it. She claims she sent the refund on March 20th and I have never heard back from her. Autumn is not someone you should do any business with.

I won a free DJ through Bellagala which is how I heard about them. I ended up booking a…read morephotographer, videographer, and hair stylist as well. The prices are pretty average. Many people say they are expensive, but for the most part, the prices ride the middle compared to other vendors. I was very happy the day of, everyone was on time, some even stayed late. My pictures were beautiful, my video ended up being above and beyond expectations, and my hair was lovely. The DJ had a few mic issues, but played a great Playlist and kept everyone on the dance floor. I also loved the discount I got for continuing to book with Bellagala. It is a bit tricky to get to. They are located above the Bulldog restaurant so if you aren't familiar with the city, it's tricky. You either need to parallel park by the meters.or park in the ramp, and then find the super inconspicuous elevator to take you up to Bellagala. But if you are local, or feeling confident, I'm sure you could find it without an issue. Very professional staff. They are dressed professionaly, offered us tea and water, and they took notes the whole meeting. Very impressed and will recommend to everyone.

Unfortunately, our coordinator became one of the biggest sources of stress that day. Leading up to the wedding, communication often felt reactive. We found ourselves repeatedly following up, initiating planning discussions, and driving decisions. While our coordinator was friendly, she never gave us confidence that the details were truly under control. On the wedding day, that lack of preparation became apparent. Multiple family members had to step in and perform responsibilities we had hired a coordinator to handle. At one point, our coordinator insisted our reception ended at 10:00 p.m., despite our contract reserving the venue until 11:00 p.m. Even after being corrected once, she later began directing family members and guests to clean up an hour early, causing part of our reception to end prematurely. Family members had to correct her a second time. What has been most disappointing is the lasting impact. Every conversation I've had about our wedding since then has included someone asking, "What was happening with your coordinator?" or commenting on how overwhelmed and unprofessional she appeared. Instead of remembering our wedding for the joy of the day, many people remember the chaos surrounding its coordination. We shared these concerns with Bellagala in detail after the wedding. Their response was that they believed the contracted services had been fulfilled and they declined any refund or other resolution. I understand that no wedding is perfect, but a day-of coordinator should reduce stress, not create it. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Bellagala's coordination services.
