Terrible contractor. Replaced some damaged siding on my gray house with white siding. Told me it would fade. Wouldn't make good or return calls. Used a Mennonite contractor that actually takes pride in their work. Do your homework and stay away from these scabs. Would choose 0 stars but won't let you. read more

Member of the Roofing team was fixing my house and they knicked a pipe. The owner tried to deny that it was them that broke it, when one of the employees admitted to it. It took harassment to get them to fix THEIR OWN MISTAKE. They then begrudgingly fixed the pipe but did not close the whole on the outside of the house. The pipes then froze due to cold weather and they will not admit to the mistake. They are avoiding me, refusing to fix their own mistake, saying it was my fault and that I broke it. This company is highly unprofessional and shady. I would NOT RECOMMEND working with this company. read more

I called the week between Christmas and New Years and I am STILL waiting for a call, 6 plus weeks???? Don't bother calling me now, I would never contract with your company. Very poor customer service. I was interested in a new gutters and downspouts for my house and garage but I would NEVER go with them now if they ever managed to have the ability to call me back. I had three new sliding windows installed in my kitchen to replace the original windows. The new windows were supplied by Harvey Industries, which also made my storm door. Two Kunsman employees showed up a little after 8 am Thursday and removed my old windows, keeping all dust on the outside and having placed plastic where the old windows and wood pieces landed. The two men installed trim nicely around the inside of the new windows, also. This morning they showed up and finished the aluminum cap outside and caulked everything 99.5 % I have one little dab I could complain about. Kunsman replaced my slate roof well over 10 years ago. Good job! Note I had a lower price from Home Depot but gave the job to Kunsman as he is also one of my customers and I was happy with the roof job! read more

I contacted this company over 2 months ago and I have yet to receive a phone call from the estimator to schedule an appointment to get a estimate. I followed up with Pat in the office and she said she would contact the estimator but I heard nothing back. I understand people are busy but to not contact a customer for over 2 months to schedule or at least tell me it may be awhile is unacceptable. I've contacted 2 other very reputable Roofing Co. in the area who are also very busy and had no trouble getting an estimate. read more

These guys are the best. The area around my chimney leaked and I had 3 roofers attempt to fix it. All 3 of the other companies were unable to make the fix but yet I was charged by each company. I feel Ryan at Kunsman is the most knowledgeable roofer in the Lehigh Valley. He knew exactly how to fix it and pointed out what the previous companies did wrong. 2 months later, I had an issue with my skylight leaking and trusted they were going to be able to fix it. Sure enough. They did a great job once again. I highly recommend these guys. Don't waste your time getting quotes from anyone else. These guys are the only company you should trust for any roofing issues. read more

Called them to get a quote on a roof replacement. The woman on phone said estimator would get back to me. Never did after 2 weeks so I called again and girl put me through to estimators voice mail. I left detailed message and it's now been another 3 weeks and still haven't received any acknowledgement whatsoever. read more

The several reviews that I've read concerning unfulfilled promises of quotes was true for me also. 3 phones calls to this company, an apologetic return call from an owner promising action and yet I still have not received an estimate for a new roof after 3 months. I have put myself in a position of not having a "fixed" roof going into the winter season. I can only recommend that you don't waste your time with this company as they seem to have some severe internal business issues. read more

This company is not worth any stars....beyond unprofessional. I called for quote 3 times to fix alum. siding with no phone response. After 3rd call, their business card showed up in my mailbox. Apparently they showed up to inspect damage, left card but still didn't call me for quote! I called 1 last time (shouldn't have) wondering how I got business card but still no notice that someone was coming out to give me a quote. Their secretary responded with an email with an estimate (I'd used them once b4, so they had my info). I signed & faxed back estimate, expecting a phone call to schedule time to come out. About 2 days later, with NO phone call, 2 men show up outside my bedroom window to replace siding. My blinds were open & I wasn't finished dressing! Thankfully, I was on floor exercising but my shirt was close to window so I couldn't reach it myself without exposing myself to the 2 men outside my window!!! Since my husband happened to be home that day, I yelled for him to come help & grab my shirt for me. My bathroom (with small window) is immediately next to bedroom window. These men would have had easy access to that window as well. God forbid I happened to be walking out of shower with 2 strangers standing on my lower roof and peering into my window!!! I was FURIOUS!!!!! Since calling them was clearly USELESS, I emailed the office demanding an apology. Secretary responded saying she would forward email to owner, Chris Yager. As expected, no response. I emailed again stating if I did not get an apology, I would leave a negative review. Next day, from his secretary's email address (not even his own), Chris Yager issued a statement saying "Hi this is chris and I want to apologize for lack of communication on my behalf." Not one drop of sincerity to his supposed "apology"!!!! Then I get bill & it states on bottom, "You could earn a $50 gift certificate for every customer you refer." HA HA HA HA HA! Refer??? I could not recommend Chris Yager & his business of Kunsman Roofing & Siding in Freemansburg to my WORST enemy! I STRONGLY recommend anybody pass over this highly unprofessional establishment. read more
