I would just like to say I am completely turned off by the way the pre-meet the design consultant process works. You go through a call center whose only job is to set up an appointment. You cannot ask any questions to gauge whether you might even want to proceed with them. All the call center can do is set up appointments and you can't get past them. If there is a showroom nearby, you can go there but it is not really set up for meeting with homeowners. They also ask a lot of unnecessary questions. For example, for a window replacement they ask how old the window to be replaced is, what problems you are having with it, how old it is, etc. Who cares? We find process very annoying compared to other companies where you can actually speak to someone first about their product and get a ball park figure of about how much it would cost, understanding of course, that the final estimate depends on the exact measurements, and some other factors.

Custom Weatherization came in and assessed my entire house for "leaks", took pictures of the problem areas and discussed the additional insulation that could be blown in to the area where the problem pipe freezing may have been occurring. They came in, sealed all of the attic leaks, added insulation up there and to the attic access cover, and blew in insulation in the garage area.
