I developed keloid scars under both breasts. Still, he did not inform me what I had or how to help myself. He repeatedly advised massaging the area with vitamin E. Keloid scarring is irritating and erythematous. The scars are raised and thick. I would not recommend this doctor. He does not take the time to evaluate each patient properly, and his communication skills are inadequate. I waited to write this to see if my scars would heal over time, and they have not. Working with him was the worst decision I have made in the field of plastic surgery. There is more, as he did three procedures, but I will not go on. I wasted my money and am permanently scarred. The lack of communication left me feeling empty, uncared for, and cheated. Please! Find someone who listens, asks about your health condition and previous procedures, gives you the facts, and treats you like an individual with unique concerns. 12/31/25. I'm a 6 year…read morecancer survivor and after finding out the breast implants a different surgeon had used for my reconstruction were part of the recall which could cause a rare type of lymphoma, I knew I wanted to have them removed and exchanged for different ones. Dr. Lee and Carly Matthews, his PA, explained every detail of what could happen in surgery, good and bad, in a way where I didn't feel I needed to pull out a medical dictionary. He reiterated at the pre-op appointment and on the day of surgery exactly what he would be removing and re-implanting during the procedure from start to finish and I knew I was in good hands which is always a plus before you entrust a surgeon to make that first cut. I received first rate care from everyone I interacted with starting on the day of the initial consultation at his office as well as with the coordinator who scheduled the surgery, the nurses and Anesthetists on the day of the procedure at the River's Edge 1-Day Surgery Center and then back at the office for post-op care. My husband is in the medical field and looks for faults with providers and their staff but couldn't find any flaws with Dr. Lee and his team. It's been 3 weeks since surgery and I couldn't be happier with the end results as compared to what I had prior to surgery. I'm 36 and have been dealing with hormonal acne that has worsened over the past few months, particularly around my menstrual cycle. I went to my PCP and was falsely diagnosed with a staph infection on my face. I was provided ointment which my face then had an allergic reaction to. I was referred to dermatology, but in the meantime reached out to Kim and she talked me off the ledge. She correctly diagnosed me with rosacea and perioral dermatitis and assured that she could help. Girl was she right! I was enrolled in the Face Reality program and it started to help IMMEDIATELY. Karina has been extremely thorough in finding exactly the right products for my face, and it has calmed down miraculously in just 6 weeks. She hasn't been afraid to change the plan immediately when my face was reacting a little funky to the toner. I have a solid plan now that is easy to adhere to. Dermatology ended up prescribing heavy medications that evidently would have been MUCH too harsh for my sensitivo skin and I'm so glad I listened to Kim and Karina instead. I was extremely impressed by his incredible knowledge and attentiveness to my personal needs. On December 7, 2017 I had breast augmentation with a lift. I have never had surgery and Dr. Sullivan eased all of my anxiety. He took time right before anesthesia to comfort me once again to go over the procedure. His compassion, sensitivity and overall demeanor exemplified the qualities of the ultimate doctor. The same level of respect and caring was also consistent with his professional staff that make me feel so welcomed at every office visit. The day after the surgery Dr. Sullivan called me personally to check in and see how I was doing. While this may be a common practice for him, I felt validated by his sincerity. I even received flowers from him which helped brighten my spirits.
