Unfortunately after meeting and being told a mini face lift would work for me, I had the surgery and it was a failure. I still have neck sagging and jowels, almost as if it wasn't pulled tight enough. I went back to express my displeasure considering I spent almost $7000 and the response I received was "well we can do a neck lift." Clearly they are not concerned with customer satisfaction or something would have been offered to try to fix it without costing more money but it was not. I met Dr Wages last April 2023. I set up a consultation and wasn't sure about getting plastic surgery. I have been unhappy with my chest and torso since the last C-section. I had heard about the "mommy make over" and was curious. It seemed that everyone was/is having plastic surgery to enhance their appearances and boost their self esteem. So I ventured to his office and had a consultation about breast augmentation. My breasts have suffered due to breast feeding and they needed some help. So Dr Wages discussed with me the procedure as well as what may or may not happen and explained that everyone is an individual and as so no two surgeries are the same. We talked about implants as I was just looking for a lift and didn't consider the implant. After the consultation that went quite well the whole process seemed to move quickly. I was a little hesitant at the price as I heard other woman having the procedure for 1/3 of what I was paying. We talked about the breast augmentation as well as the tummy tuck. Given the cost of both procedures I decided to just go with the breast augmentation for now and look forward to getting the tummy tuck later. I was very frightened of the process to say the least. We completed all the necessary paperwork and paid the hospital as well as Dr Wages and we were on our way. I met with Dr Wages the evening before the surgery to mark up my chest and go over any last minute questions or concerns I might have. On the morning of my surgery I met with the staff that were going to be in the OR assisting Dr Wages. I can't say enough praises about them. All professional, introducing themselves and explaining what their role would be in theater and what to expect before, during and after surgery. I was hooked up and knocked out, later woke up to a nurse talking to me letting me know everything went well and I could go home as soon as I got my bearings. I woke up to two huge ice bags on my chest and I asked if I had breasts and she laughed and said. Oh boy do you ever... I laughed and tried to focus my eyes on my chest but I was so medicated I couldn't see straight. I wasn't in pain upon waking up just very groggy and soar. My back was very soar and that struck me as weird. I got home and slept the first night away, waking up in the middle of the night in pain. It was difficult to get up from a laying position or use my arms for leverage. I ended up sleeping in a sitting position for about 4 nights. The pain was horrible the first 3-4 days as my chest was healing from the trauma. I immediately took the bandages off to investigate. I was horrified at what I saw. I cried. My nipples looked like they were relocated to the bottom of my breast and I had what seemed to be huge incisions around my nipples, down the front of my breast and from side to side. My chest and rib cage were completely black and blue and I wasn't sure what this would look like. My nipples were screaming in pain which I thought was a good sign that they were still alive as I couldn't believe what they looked like. I know this sounds like a horror story but it's not. After about 2 weeks my breasts began to feel normal again. I was worried about "feeling" was I going to be able to feel my nipples and breast after all this cutting. Yes, feeling came back, color came back, my scars are almost completely invisible and my beasts look great. I chose to have the implant under the muscle and am glad I did. My breast appear to be normal and show no signs of "implant" the only thing I noticed about my implant is when I flex my chest or arm muscle the implants move with the muscle and will show rippling in my chest. After reading the other comments I felt I had to comment as I too had many fears about this process and Dr Wages and his staff were completely transparent in all the "possibilities" that could happen and the recovery process. They were also very compassionate and available to answer all and any questions before and after the procedure. It's been a year exactly today that I had the procedure done. I am looking forward to seeing Dr Wages again as soon as finances allow it to complete the "tummy tuck". The only thing I have to adjust to now concerning my breasts is getting use to and comfortable going without a bra. I am very happy with my results and am glad to have found Dr Wages and his staff. I saw Dr. Wages inquiring about having a neck lift, but it was way too pricey... $28,000. He told me about a mini facelift, which was $6,300. I asked if it would take care of my neck, and he said,"Yes." Period. "It'll last about 3 years," he said. I had the mini on July 16th and it looked fantastic... for about 2 weeks. Then the horizontal lines in my neck returned! I made an appointment with Dr. Wages and he said he "never promised" the lines would go away. I told him that he never said they WOULD NOT. No response. And both he and the front desk changed their tune about the procedure saying that a mini facelift doesn't really do much for the neck! Dr. Wages then told me that there were improvements but that I clearly was not happy with the results. Needless to say, he would not agree to help me at all, even to give me a free round of neck fillers. I know quite a few women who would be interested in having this procedure but I have to tell them to avoid this place... dishonest people and not helpful post op at all! Buyer beware!!! read more

Hello, I am writing this review with deep regret, sadness, and frustration. I came to Dr. Wages 5 years ago, to perform my breast, ear, and lower chin cosmetic surgery. I was so happy with the results that I felt comfortable continuing to visit him for my non-invasive treatments. So much, that I felt comfortable having him operate on my tummy tuck- something that he knew that I was very emotionally sensitive about. But, I must say I am not at all happy with these procedures he performed on me, from the tummy tuck to diastasis surgeries. I never in my life thought that i needed the diastasis surgery in the first place. He pushed and recommended that we did it. When I first came to Dr, Wages, I did have a minor scar from the C- section and a lower abdominal pouch small and minor, but after this surgery, both scars have become worse than before. Now I have hanging extra skin, uneven abdominal muscles, a hole under my belly button from him cutting, and the C- section line is now much longer, thicker, and crocked than before. Prior to the first surgery, I had the vertical I line that ran down the stomach and an upper six pack. Now they are all gone. I can barely look down at myself without crying. Since the first surgery. I haven't felt comfortable being intimate with my partner. Nor have I felt comfortable being completely naked in front of him. I feel AWFUL about my body. And when I tried to explain to Dr. Wages, about my feelings and how terrible the work turned out, he brushed it off. Never acknowledging my feelings or the fact that my body is now ten times worse than before. And even the revision surgery that we did last year, the same problems persist. IF anything I have new problems. After the revision surgery. I now have a crooked line running below my stomach because he refused to amend the whole thing, after I asked him to amend the whole scar. He choose to patch different parts of my stomach and now i have multiple dents underneath my stomach. Before I was only uncomfortable with my partner. Now i cannot even change my clothes with another woman as my mother, sister or daughter. This past 6 months has been a living hell for me physically, mentally, and emotionally. I just now feel like Dr. Wages, doesn't grasp the severity of what he did to me, and how much he botched my surgery and how it has affected my life. He is completely negligent on my recovery and owning up to what he did to me. I feel worse that what I felt before I went into surgery with Dr. Wages. I also talked to two professionals plastic surgeons after my botched surgery with doctor Wages and they told me that I didn't need a tummy tuck. So he lied to me just to take my money and performed a surgery that I didn't needed. I hope that this review can help people make a better decision on choosing him as a surgeon. If there was less . Don't do it. I had an issue with 1 of my implants leaking after 9 years. Was referred to wages . Figured I'd have both done. When I got home I already knew there was an issue. My implant that leaked was at least a size smaller than my new left side. After going back & forth he said he would fix the right. But i would have to pay for the or room & anesthesiologist,I told him I'm not giving you a cent! ( being a single mom terrified of going under.) so I'm all prepped at the hospital, anesthesiologist getting pissed cuz wages running late. He finally shows up after 1 he 1/2 wait. He says to me ok we're replacing your right Breast with 250 cc( not sure exact #but I'm a 350cc) I said no. Im trying to explain to him & he's arguing with me about that's what was in his notes... I told him no, call your office look it up. Then he told me I was right but I'd have to reschedule because "he has to order implants & could take a month. Finally I go in have it swapped out. As it was healing I was in pain under breast where my bra band was. I'd wake up dreaming I was stabbed. I called him told him I felt a lump but it was hard & not near insidious. He laughed it off told me to come in. After examining me ...The fool said I know what that is. It's the implant port. Where implant filled supposed to be behind my nipple. Idiot, he just admitted to putting in the implant incorrectly ( when I originally said leak of right breast was due to a car accident & I scheduled soon after) then he wanted me to pay... I told him he's crazy & fix it now. His billing person Trying to sting arm me telling me I'm going to have to pay! They were all crazy! So after fixed I requested all my medical records ( huge process) did I mention the office had a major issue with receptionist who was fired during all this. I know she messed with my records & others I'm sure. So after maybe 4 months I get the hospital records & dr wages states that he was ready to go for the 250... whatever but I changed my mind. Really! I just want to walk around with 1 breast roughly 350.... And I decided not to have the operation at the last second for the right side at 250cc's... He's literally a Boob! My first review didn't do enough justice and now that I've "graduated" from my procedure, I wanted to update it. I wanted to improve my appearance. Don't waste your money! I DO NOT recommend this Doctor! When it comes to lip fillers or Botox, do your research before you pay so much money. I paid so much money twice from having lip fillers twice in less then 2 weeks. They deflated twice before I even attended my sons wedding.my Botox didn't last more then 3 weeks. He tells me that I'm one of those patients that doesn't take. Love how he tells me after he took my money. You live and learn. So disappointed in him! Now I'm searching some other doctor that recommends better procedures. read more

I have had Laser Treatments by both Dr Wages and Dr Hadaegh and I have am very satisfied with my results. I have had three treatments and the hair is almost completely gone. The treatment was about 15 minutes long and I felt very comforatable with both of the Dr's. I recommend seeing either for treatments. Great Bedside manner. read more

I recently went to North Shore Plastic Surgery on First Ave in Peabody to have my marionette lines treated with juvederm. (These are the two lines from the corners of the mouth downward). A couple of years ago I had the same lines treated at this same facility successfully and was happy with the outcome. Back then, juvederm was carefully injected along the length of the two lines. During my recent visit the doctor and his assistant suggested to me that more fullness to the lips as well as direct injection into the marionette lines would help draw attention away from those lines. I told them I only wanted the marionette lines treated, and that I maybe would consider whether to use any remaining juvederm to do something to the lips. I laid down in the chair totally expecting the syringe to go somewhere in the vicinity of the marionette lines. Much to my surprise, the doctor was threading the catheter through my top lip, even though I had just said I only wanted the marionette lines treated! I couldn't speak at the moment to stop him. I went ahead and let him do the other side of the lip so I wouldn't have only half of my mouth swollen. Afterward, when I complained that I did not expect any juvederm to be put into my lips, I was told that this was a way to treat the marionette lines (which I guess it is indirectly). I have a very small mouth and I have always liked it that way and would never consider lip plumping. I had only said I maybe would consider doing something to my mouth IF juvederm was left after treating the marionette lines, because the doctor and his assistant kept suggesting this method, and I wanted to go ahead and get the marionette lines treated. I had no intention of having anything done to my lips and would have asked them to just save any extra juvederm in case a touch up was needed to the marionette lines later. If you go to this facility, be very alert and watch where the syringe is about to enter. Be ready to clamp your hand on it and stop it if you are about to be injected in a different part of the body than what you agreed on. read more
