He said the detector works if the dogs are under 100 lbs each and won't go off if it detects the dogs. So since one dog was 50 and one 75 and he said that the system could be armed in away mode with the special motion sensor I bellieved him. After he left ( 2 smoke sensors, one motion sensor, and a cell phone conversion box, $800.00 ! And there already was a wired system installed.) I read that the TOTAL weight of the dogs has to be under 100 lbs. so he charged me $135.00 for nothing. I called five times and left messages to ask that the needless charges be credited to my account and got no return call. I accidentally opened a door and set the alarm off 3 times in the first few weeks and received no calls whatsoever. I don't even believe that it is monitored! I think they are a big rip off with incredibly poor customer service. They get as much from you as they can as fast as they can and then you can't get in touch with them. All the while talking about how great their church is! STAY AWAY from them! Now I have to switch to another company (with integrity) and pay again to have their equipment installed. STAY AWAY from them!

Then yesterday, around 7:00 p.m., another Vivint representative showed up. He asked if I was the homeowner. I said, "Yes, and I'm not interested. Thank you." That should have been the end of the conversation. Instead, he kept going. He commented on my security cameras, saying, "I noticed you have cameras..." I interrupted him again and said, "I have cameras, and I am NOT interested." He still continued. I finally told him, "You're right--I don't have to buy anything. I have two cameras, two antisocial, protective, slightly unhinged large dogs, and a firearm. I'm good. Thank you. Goodbye." Apparently that still wasn't enough. He got back on his scooter and rode it through my yard. Seriously? Vivint, if you're reading this: Respect "No Soliciting" signs. If a homeowner politely tells your salesperson they're not interested, the conversation is over. Don't continue the sales pitch, and don't ride through someone's yard on your way out. I looked for a way to file a complaint on your website but couldn't find one, so I'm posting here instead. Consider this my formal request: Do not send another salesperson to my home. I will never purchase Vivint products or services after these experiences. To everyone else: If you have a No Soliciting sign, don't assume it will be respected.

The technician took over an hour to arrive despite being told it was urgent, and when I checked in, the dispatcher became angry and dismissive. The locksmith flirted with my family member instead of focusing on the job, and after unlocking the door, the lock was left broken and wouldn't latch properly. On top of that, the final bill was shockingly high-over $230-with hidden charges and no clear explanation. Customer service was unhelpful, and I felt scammed and disrespected throughout the entire process. I strongly recommend looking for other locksmith options and avoiding Pop-A-Lock altogether.
