There's no service in economy, but if you're sitting in first there's a quick drink and snack service. I was fortunate to have gotten upgraded on both flights, so I definitely was not peckish or thirsty. Delta operates the Embraer 175 aircraft on this SLC-IDA route, meaning in first class, it's a 1-2 configuration, while in economy it's a 2-2 configuration. The Embraer plane is one of my favorite aircraft because there's no middle seat (despite it being a smaller aircraft). The on-ground experience was left much to be desired. The check in process was efficient, but a tad friendly with the counter staff seemed a bit robotic as if they wanted to shoo customers away as quickly as possible. Also, when I arrived in Idaho Falls Airport, my bag took a very long time to arrive - nearly 20 minutes. There weren't any other flights arriving at that time, but bags took longer to come out on the belt. So while the flights were on time and the in-flight experience was good, the other aspects (on ground within the airport) were subpar imo. So with that I give the Delta experience at Idaho Falls Airport a solid 3* rating taking into consideration both in flight and on ground experiences.

American is awful. We flew from Salt Lake to Cartagena , Colombia. We knew it was going to be a…read morelong flight, but out of 6 flights, 5 were delayed. American took absolutely no responsibility. I paid extra to choose our seats. Instead of letting us choose, American decided to try and separate me and my husband from our 4 young children. They would not refund me for the service I paid for, that they did not provide. The flight attendants were American's saving grace because they worked their butts off to fix American's administrative dumpster fire. It was a terrible experience and unfortunately with 6 of us, we'll likely have to fly American again. If anyone has any tips on how to have at least some ability to fly without a fight on American, I am open to any advice.

Now we have to settle for a credit with this greedy airline that refuses to take care of the customers who have depended on them to be honest and helpful. From the outside, the Candlewood looked kind of old but the inside was really nice. I guess there was a remodel not too long ago. Our room was in the front of the motel and the snake river is behind it. Didn't know that till we were leaving. Our room was really clean lots of room to spread out. I feel bad we got there late and left early so I didn't get to look around and take pictures of this hotel. But when I left, I did see the free coffee. Thank you.
