She asked me to take out all of my stuff even if I splaying to her that I need to carry an small purse with me with my medical device's (2) I am diabetic type 1 and I need to have next to me my insulin pump and my smart phone and some candy just in case... and my wallet with my personal info ( medical info) she said that in vase of emergency the fly company will have my personal info. Worst of the worst. Always problematic. Every single week some issue occurs with the app especially on the day of travel. Workers are exceptionally pleasant but WTF checking boarding passes after you leave the gate to the plane OUTDOOR ramp in 20 BELOW as you enter the plane AGAIN OUTSIDE. First time flying out of this airport, and the Customer Service is TERRIBLE! Zero star rating is needed. The ladies that checked us in the gate on June 14th 2025 roughly 9pm threatened to remove us from the plane just because we were looking for clear answers when flying an infant. I've flown several times with Allegiant and I'm used the nickel and dime you to death, but this is a new low. We booked a room/flight package for Vegas, I needed to add someone to the room since her flight is arriving 5 hours prior to when we arrive. The Flamingo refuses to make any changes since it was booked through a 3rd party, called Allegiant, after holding for 52 minutes I was told Allegiant cannot make changes in their system. Ok, everyone knows about reading the fine print or you will get nickel and dimed, old news. Here are some hidden tips: 1. Don't fly allegiant unless you absolutely have to, primarily looking for a random airport in the middle of nowhere. 2. Bring some spare airplane parts......they typically need them before take off (this may save an hour or two.....you'll still be delayed 1 hr but thats better than 3). 3. Bring several books, meals, bedding etc.... you never know when you'll actually board and leave. 4. Don't read the plate on the door.....you'll realize the plane you flying on is approximately 35 yrs old. 5. Approach the trip with idea that you are NOT the customer. I love how they advertise flights for a really low price but after the ridiculous charges it ends up costing almost 50% more than the initial price! Here is my nightmare... I booked a flight from idaho falls Idaho to mesa Arizona. I arrived at the airport approximately 45 minutes early (very small airport no lines no waiting at security) I tried to access my boarding pass on my smart phone. I had an email with my flight confirmation but no boarding pass. I tried to log into the website but could not remember my password. I clicked forgot password and never received the new password. I went over the the allegiant ticketing station and no body was there. I found someone in security and he told me all of the allegiant staff leaves 45 minutes before the plane departs. No one at the airport could help me. I tried calling allegiant to ask for help getting my boarding pass but was on hold for over 50 minutes and missed my flight. The best part of the story is calling the later that evening, again on hold for close to an hour. After explaining my experience the allegiant representative didn't even apologize and told me she is not able to refund or credit ANYTHING. I called southwest airlines and for about 20 dollars more I booked a flight with a REAL airline. Bottom line You get what you pay for... read more

Lets start off by saying save time and use DELTA! I would give them 0 stars but i guess thats not an option.i never reviewed anything before nor do i like to but this was necessary i want to save all my fellow Americans time and money !!! 1st . Their flights are always delayed . Cheap flight but Expensive ass everything for shitty asss customer service! They are so miserable that they work there they make your life hard . 2nd . Their planes are always breaking down and delaying make sure you get life insurance before boarding the plane ! 3rd. Be careful these cheap asses will try to take your perfumes and glitter from you just to keep it !!!!! I had a bottle that was 4.01 oz for that 1 they tried to "toss it" (i really think she wanted to keep it) i argued with her for like 5 min and a nice security guard said i was able to give it to someone instead of "tossing it " like that rude ass lady wanted. So she offered to go take it instead of that rude ass lady who kept on insisting to toss it even after she offered to take it ! 4th. I will never fly this again I recommend everyone to DELTA !!!!! If I could give this POS airline zero friggin' stars, I would! Have t flown this POS airlines for six years and swore I would never fly them again. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" has been given a totally new meaning thanks to Allegiant Airlines. Honestly, if I worked for this company I would be so ashamed. Nothing, and I mean nothing has improved in six years!! I mean, Allegiant Air CEO Maury Gallagher, how the holy hell do you sleep at night??? Do you EVER get out of your ivory towers and get down on the floors of your business? How you ever make a royal dime is a total mystery! Never on time! Always late! Pilots tell you they are sorry and give you a notice that "we should be departing in 10-15 minutes and then you sit on the tarmac for another hour roasting. The worst airline I have ever flown. Late nearly every time I fly from Mesa to Idaho Falls which makes it nearly impossible to catch a shuttle. Today the result was having my shuttle leave me stranded on Christmas Eve. I would rather make the 14 hour drive than deal with this airline and at times that gets me there faster. read more

Cheapest way to travel if you follow the rules. Sometimes the plane will be delayed because it's broken or has some other mechanical issue. I always bring some spare plane parts just in case they need them. Be prepared for three hour plus delays and to be boarded and deboarded from the plane and then board it again. When they say we will be leaving in 15 minutes, that means three hours. I would not say the check in staff is rude but they are just a step below that. I think this may be my 3rd or 4th review ever, but Allegiant Air is so incredibly horrible I felt it was un-American to not warn my fellow US citizens of this horrific joke of an airline. If Yelp would have let me give them ZERO stars I wouldn't have hesitated, but 1 star was the worst rating possible, so it will have to do. Beware - they charge you for everything... Everrrrything. Check bag fee, carry on bag fee, change seat fee, water on the flight... $2 unless you want to sip from the airplane toilet sink. Oh and print your boarding pass beforehand, that's another $5 fee per print. Wait her comes the best part. Everyone has a serious attitude problem. It's like they know they work for the worst airline on the planet and want to take it out on you. I believe the only reason this airline exists is because they have no capital injections, as their airlines are so outdated they are falling apart in front of me and they cash in on everything from seat changes to mid-flight cotton mouth. Haha... as I'm writing this they've announced the landing time 3 different times, purely due to their inability to understand time zones changes... I have never been happy with Allegiant Airlines. We bought a ticket for my brother in law a while back & today was the day he was supposed to fly out of Idaho to head to Arizona & he had to go to the hospital for medical reasons and was unable to travel under instructions of the doctor. So of course we call customer service and are put on hold for over 40 minutes, finally someone picked up and long story short, we were told that there was absolutely no way that we could get any type of refund or credit. So we basically just threw $200 down the drain and the girl on customer support was rude and had an attitude when "helping" us. read more
