I paid extra to choose our seats. Instead of letting us choose, American decided to try and separate me and my husband from our 4 young children. They would not refund me for the service I paid for, that they did not provide. The flight attendants were American's saving grace because they worked their butts off to fix American's administrative dumpster fire. It was a terrible experience and unfortunately with 6 of us, we'll likely have to fly American again. If anyone has any tips on how to have at least some ability to fly without a fight on American, I am open to any advice.

I, my daughter and a stand-by were at gate having issues checking in using app. Gate keepers decided to help him and another stand by get in and stated couldn't help us check in. Next morning different worker announced names and would gladly help check in who hasn't. At Layover airpot in Seattle, ticket and app had wrong gate, missed flight. Their workers are not productive in helping but shoving it out to be your fault and making sure it verbally known. Most lack logical sense in thinking and genuine customer service. My suggestion check in way sooner. If app not working get to lobby to check in. And dont believe them when they point fingers, the workers and company lack accountability.

From the outside, the Candlewood looked kind of old but the inside was really nice. I guess there was a remodel not too long ago. Our room was in the front of the motel and the snake river is behind it. Didn't know that till we were leaving. Our room was really clean lots of room to spread out. I feel bad we got there late and left early so I didn't get to look around and take pictures of this hotel. But when I left, I did see the free coffee. Thank you.
