As we're paying, I hear the woman at the cashier yell across the store to a kid. Telling him if he breaks it he bought it. I turned to see & it's my 10 yr. old staring back scared & wide eyed. He was actually headed towards me to ask me what the metal object was. I told him it was to cut candle wicks & asked him to put it back. The cashier continued to grumble as if she was upset. I politely told her there was no need to yell. She just proceeded to repeat "if you break it you bought it", as if there was something wrong with her, never making eye contact. She took my cash payment & then completely ignored me. Immediately as I turned to leave, she started speaking badly about me to her co- worker, RIGHT THERE INFRONT OF ME & OTHER CUSTOMERS! I couldn't believe it. The other employee, a woman, looks at me & I tell her that is completely inappropriate & she should not be treating customers like that. This second woman then ignored what I'm saying & starts gesturing with her hand towards the door while telling me "goodbye, have a nice day". She repeated this 3 times!! What an awful experience we had at the Cellar! With these 2 horrible women with horrid manners. We truly regret giving our business to this store. Never again!

This was a huge store selling new and gently used men's, women's and kids clothing, furniture, housewares, shoes, jewelry and accessories.

The consignment store was well organized, well staffed, and didn't smell bad (a common problem with…read morethrift stores). A little on the pricey side, but it is consignment, and everything is expensive in AK. In addition to clothes, a nice selection of jewelry, and quite a few new items. My husband needed a good insulated water bottle and we were able to find one comparable to Target prices.

I walked inside Sitka Fur, just to simply look around. I'm in Alaska, seems only fair to check out the fur. Now, I've never owned real fur before, let alone walked inside a fur gallery. As I'm checking out these beautiful coats, one coat catches my eye, and so of course I had to try it on. Tosin came up and introduced herself as I was doing so and I could tell instantly her company was a vibe. I fell in LOVE with that coat, but not so much the price. So I sadly put it back. But Tosin, she saw the spark in my eyes. She didn't give up on that love connection. I told her I would come back after I finished walking the town and would think on the price and my budget at the time. As promised, I did return, and to my surprise, Tosin had made some phone calls and was able to drop the price even more especially during the off season! I said yes to the fur coat! I placed a down deposit that day and was able to pay it off over time. Tosin was my one and only person of contact for my payments, per my preference. Not only is she hilarious, but she's also professional and down to earth. Honestly any successful company would be blessed to have her on their team! When my coat finally arrived to my home, I felt just as happy as when I first tried it on. It was absolutely perfect! And it came with a storage bag! Of course I had to call Tosin to tell her that if it wasn't for her, this coat and I wouldn't be officially together! Over the moon happy with this entire experience! Tosin, you are the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)!
