This was the first time I've been there and its so much nicer. The waiting area is comfy, the phlebotomy rooms all have windows, and they register at bedside now. My phlebotomist had me in and out in quickly. He was so nice and one stick and done! I didnt feel are thing. Excellent care. Definitely recommend.

I went early in the morning no appointment necessary, and was in and out in around five minutes. She was so efficient at the blood draw I barely even felt the prick of the needle when she did the blood draw. This was my third time of using their service and I have been satisfied each time. I particularly like the fact that you don't need a Dr.'s referral for tests. It does say right on the form that they don't do coding, and a patients insurance may or may not pay for the lab tests. Doctors are generally the ones who provide the codes. I would recommend their services.

Going to this LAB is the worst experience we have ever had in having our lab work done. 1) BAD…read moreservice, careless repeated attempts to get the vein resulting in painful holes and bruises afterward, and unhelpful responses at every turn. 2) the paperwork was illegible resulting in our insurance not being able to read the form (which I tried to have corrected at the time of the blood work). We have now had to send in our claims twice and we are still not able to have it covered as the lab provided the wrong codes. When I went in for help, they told me they could not help me and could not provide a corrected form so the insurance could process it. 3) The lab and lobby were not clean and very makeshift. It was not professional in any sense. We were thoroughly disappointed. We will never use this lab again for our medical needs.

I hope employers are reading these. I've been on both sides of this system. They are the worst…read moreclinic to send your employees. Not only do the mistreat your employees but they overstep their treatment and leave the employer with exposure and risk for legal action. From the employee standpoint it's a horrible place to go. Waiting 45 minutes to be seen and then having them tell my husband he needs to fill out paperwork. Then throwing out my urine for the UA. All while treating him as though he was lucky to be there. On top of that I gathered all the documents required. I submitted them 3 times. Then they are denied because they don't see a form that was included. I could go on but we've been run in circles and mistreated. Avoid this place at all costs! UPDATE: because we called and complained about having to redo all the documents because the new PA hadn't requested them the PA called my husband's employer and said he shouldn't be working anywhere. He hasn't lost his job but Beacon has again overstepped. Perfect example of what I stated originally.

Expect to wait an hour plus for the actual appointment then another 30 minutes minimum to get your…read morepaperwork. If you're sending employees here expect them to be gone for at least a couple hours for a simple DOT.

They accept dry goods and we bought some Spaghetti Noodles to give too from Costco along with some canned goods from home that gently went out of expiration. I received a text message when I dropped my item off, with the ticket number and expected pick up time, and I received a text message when my item was ready with the ticket number. As someone who gets an obnoxious amount of spam calls, to the point I don't answer unknown numbers, I greatly appreciated the text messages about my item.

Alaska Pretrial Services is a very welcoming place. You walk in scared thinking you do not know what's going to happen, then you realize the staff is just like you. They have made mistakes, they have been given second chances, and here to start a new chapter of life. The staff is down to earth, they welcome you with open arms, make you feel like a part of their family. Don't get me wrong though, they do not play any games when it come to doing well on the program. Success! That's what they want to see, to complete this chapter and to go on doing our best at what god has given you. They give the first nudge, the first step, and courage to feel like we can do anything. My friend was there for 3 years, predominantly in Memory Care. All family and POA were out of…read morestate. She had 2 regular visitors - myself and one other friend. ONE family member visited her ONCE in all of those years. We were "regulars". WE WERE BANNED FROM VISITING HER in the final months AND DAYS of her life when LOVE and FRIENDSHIP is the most important, let alone at any time institutionalized! We were not told why, just that the POA had agreed to the banning. It seemed we were "in trouble" for not following "rules" where the rules were not always known or explained to us, or understood and followed by staff for that matter, nor were we ever granted an "audience" to meet to resolve these matters with Executive Administration to better understand our "offenses", or to state our view as to what may have happened. A different friend who knew her was DENIED being able to personally deliver and go over the card and photos I had prepared for my friend in what was the final weeks of her life without "clearance" from Medical and Executive Administration and thus never received them or the personal delivery of my messages to her that she was loved and not alone. I was admonished for pounding on my friend's window (in desperation) to let her know I had not forgotten about her and loved her. These are true stories and well documented. This Institution's Medical and Executive administration seemed bothered by our "interruptive" visits and advocacy. This Institution's Medical and Executive Administration do not seem to understand that Love and Friendship are an important component of Mental Health which is a QUALITY OF LIFE component --- as important (if not more) in the waning times of life, or when one is institutionalized and distanced from family and who provides that in their absence - FRIENDS. I would NOT EVER let my loved one go to Memory Care here nor would I recommend it for others.

In the last two years as her care needs have changed, the staff has been absolutely wonderful throughout it all. The management and caregiving staff have always been caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I also really appreciate how management as created a strong sense of community for residents. It's not just a living facility but a true community where residents can be involved with helping each other and have a voice in how they want their living environment to be run. Management works hard to engage with residents and to provide activities that are creative and fun. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a caring place for their loved one.
