I did not use this service, but the erratic driving seen the other day was awful, along with the driver tossing their fast food cup and trash out the window (cab #36). So disrespectful and unsafe. Wish a cop had caught them. Grow up and have some respect for your community! read more

Was recommended this taxi company by the front desk. Got picked up and the drive took the long way going to another base. On my way paying I left my phone and to get it back he charged me a fee. Great customer service! Use your own gps next time. read more

Outstanding Service! Established a relationship with the owners, when reliability for my 92 - year- old father's 3X/week dialysis transportation service, became quite suspect. They welcomed him into their schedule, as though he was their own family. The professionalism, courtesy, reliability, respect and care all drivers exhibited for this vulnerable and health compromised man, was truly a gift that any son could only hope for. Excellent communication by all throughout the time they serviced him. Can't thank Alban and Nick enough for always "being there!" Kudos to Rob & Wiley. I have used Alba on several occasions for early morning transportation from the ocean front. No more. I confirmed a reservation with both a phone call and text a 3:30 am pick-up. The taxi I had was in very poor condition and the driver was rude and unprofessional. I used this taxi service on two separate occasions because it's one of the few options on the base I'm staying at. Once the driver had her dog on the front passenger seat and my friend who was riding with us is allergic. We requested a different taxi, but were told she was the only one available. The last time I gave the driver the address for his gps, he put it in then proceeded to ignore it's directions saying he knew a faster way. We ended up adding almost 15 minutes to the trip which he tried to charge me for. Not to mention both drivers weren't the most polite people I've ever ridden with. Unfortunately i had to call Alba Taxi today to pick up my friend and I who were stranded at the front gate of our base with too many groceries to walk the mile and a half back to our barracks because our Lyft couldn't get on base. The woman who answered the phone said she would do it "just this one time" and hung up. Rude right from the beginning. Not really how I expect to be treated as a person, let alone a military member in need of help. When she picked us up she proceeded to give us a lecture on how we shouldn't be where we were and what an inconvenience it was for her. As if we had a choice. She told us to use cabs to get onto base but why would I do that when they charge $6.50 to go 1 1/2 miles in a dirty cab? I payed that much to get back from Wal-Mart in a Lyft. And they were friendly. I will never use alba cabs ever again. read more
